The staff was able to assist with a receipt issue I had, but both staff members were not very friendly. When I walked inside to inform my receipt did not email (from a complete mobile/self service visit) she sat looking at her phone eventually looking up and asked if she could help me. When I picked up the trailer the experience was fantastic. But when I had my fiancÃ© bring it back for me he got there at 5pm on the dot and when he got up to the door it was 5:01 he needed help getting the trailer off. The person through the door said we are closed and point to their watch and refused to help him. I understand everyone wants to go home and you need to close but he just needed help for a quick second to get it off. And no one there (which there were other employees there) refused to help him. I'm in the customer service industry and so is he and we would've never done that. They treated him like crap and didn't even care that he needed help. So we will never be back. Which really sucks because my experience picking it up there was awesome. Again I'm all About leaving on time or whatnot but he really needed help and they refused to help at 5:01pm. The process for picking up a truck is a disaster. The website process is out of the 1995 handbook of what to do to not keep a customer. Once one get though the process the locks are so old they will not open unless you call and have someone tell you to bang the lock up and down several times until it opens. The process took almost two hours to complete. All in all i would say that you have a messed up rental process.William H.

Overall I had a great experience with uhaul and the employees at this location, but the lady working when I dropped off my vehicle at 6:30 pm on Saturday was awful. Improve your no contact share app. When I went to puck up the truck the app did not work. It was during store hours so I went inside and the gentleman did the pick up manually. I asked about the return because the app kept saying my location was not on. The sales rep looked at my phone and my location was set to on. He was very nice and said dont worry they would be able to tell that I had brought the truck back. I tried it again when I got back and it still didnt work so I dropped the key in the box and never got the app to work. That is the reason for the rating. Have employees wear masks. The vehicle had gravel and cement blocks in the bed which nicked the antique I was picking up. One young lady used her shirt to wipe her face and raised it up so high everyone could see her bra. There was no parking for my vehicle at this location. This location was very busy but Justin bent over backwards to get my trailer attached check the lights looked after Me especially well because he knew that I had been rerouted from another location and that that had already inconvenienced me. How bad your corporate service line is. I would never use uhaul again if I can. That includes me buying my own trailer. I would not recommend u haul as a company to anyone. I was very pleased with the service that I received. The unit was large and clean and I feel safe entering the storage unit. The service associate Justice was very courteous, professional and was able to expedite me obtaining my storage unit. The store was very busy and he worked quickly to assist all of the customers while the General Manager stood outside doing nothing but watch the line of customers grow. When the General Manager decided to come inside to assist, her behavior displayed that she really was not too happy about working. Justice meanwhile went above and beyond and seem to really enjoy his job in helping others. I reserved my unit online to find out the units I reserved/paid for were someone else’s units. They had to find an open one for me to use in which was beside a mechanical unit that was leaking into the unit the moved me to. I had to pay for extra miles when all I did was pick up the truck, go directly to my daughters house to load it, drive directly to her new apartment and then directly to drop off the truck. The extra miles came from picking it up in a different town because none were available in the town she lived in, then having to drive an extra 15 miles in Raleigh to drop it off. I was not provided adequate miles. I had to pay for over priced gas because all gas stations were out of gas.Wade M.
The customer rep was kinda rude. The sign in the lane where I had to park the van said I was suppose to stay with the vehicle until the attendant comes out. I sat there for about 10 mins in the hot sun waiting and no one came. I walked into office and they said to leave the keys in the van and they would send me the final. They were not real busy and most just sitting behind the desk. I was a bit upset at their way of handling me and their attitude. Then they charged me $25 for van clean up when I don't believe it was cleaned when I got it. I want my cleaning cost back. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH UHAULDONALD G.

Booked a storage unit in person and the person working there gave me a storage unit that was already in use on the first floor. Since they did not have storage units of our size on the first floor, they then assigned us one on third floor. This unit was also in use by another customer. I had originally moved in back in December. I was a key card and allowed to move my stuff into the unit. However, when I tried my key card one night it didn’t work. When I came the next morning their was an extra lock on my unit. Come to find out, the employee who signed me in the day I moved in didn’t do anything other than open up to unit for me. I was very unhappy with my experience in storing my household items at the U-Haul down town Raleigh facility. Upon moving my items into my new home, I came to realize that I had a roach infestation that had occurred in my pack boxes I stored there for 5 months. I put in a complaint and it was not resolved successfully, after submitting a claim requesting to have my new home exterminated. The $125.00 estimate to have my home exterminated was denied by their RepWest insurance company that's supposed to help with U-haul customer complaints. Saying that no negligence was found on the behalf of U-Haul. This determination I disagree with, because they should maintain their property by having it treated for insects to avoid these type of occurrences. Before submitting this review I made one last effort to reach out to Management and got no response. So, since the company has emailed me asking about my U-haul experience, I'm left with no other choice but to be honest and say... Two opposite comments: Ruben, your employee at the Raleigh location, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, patient, friendly, responsive, a stellar representative for your company. I cannot give him enough stars. Really took of us. The opposite issue is safety that has nothing to do with your team. Three young adults and I ended up moving stuff into the unit around 9:30 pm. There was a man there, he did not appear to be the security guard. He left the door propped open with wood slivers while. He stood with his back to the door on the phone with a cigarette. He also did not appear to be a customer nor work there. My biggest issue is that he propped the door for a good length of time (15 minutes??) after dark. It did not feel secure. I’m not sure why he was there but he was not moving anything. If he’s a security guard, my suggestion would be he does not prop the door open because that defeats the entire purpose of needing a key card to get inElizabeth P. | First Impressions

The reservation time for my truck ended and I could not add additional time due to the next reservation. This cost me an additional $50.00.
