Wish I had been told there was a hand truck and a bag of blankets in the back before I left the lot. I did not need them and they were in the way but I couldn’t remove them or I would have been charged for cutting the zip tie holding them in place. Would have loved to leave them at the store. Otherwise, service and staff was great.

I ordered my truck a week in advance and was not given the exact address, just that it was on Capital but there are two on Capital in Raleigh and I said I would need it from early morning to early afternoon. I got there 45 minutes late because of traffic and going to the wrong location (not this locations fault by the way) and I was asked if I would still have the truck back by 11am and that it was only booked 4 hours. I said no and was told 15 hours was the next option for me to rent it for. After giving our information three times and being there for a half an hour because of their computer problems I was asked when I thought I would have it back by and was confused as to how I was being charged at this point. I still don't understand why I was only booked for 4 hours, why I wasn't given the price I was quoted or how I was actually charged in the end.

When I called to rent a trailer I asked more than once if I needed any equipment for them to hitch it to my 2015 Honda Pilot. I was assured they would take of hitching it and my car was equipped or they could sell me the hitch. I did end up need to buy the hitch, but I also needed the trailer wiring harness. That was unexpected and it turns out to be a rare part to have in stock. Luckily their store in Wake Forest had 1 harness in stock. I had to drive to get it and bring it back to the Downtown location. I would recommend to everyone to go get a vehicle check at least a week before you need a trailer to be sure you can get the trailer hooked up. I got lucky. We also had trouble with the check out process as it would not accept my credit card until he typed it in. I also strongly suggest you get the windows tinted at this location as all that open glass made for a very hot and bright showroom. I do want to commend Daniel (Danny?). He was patient and friendly. He worked on hooking up the harness for at least 90 minutes. He waived the installation fee as I had to drive 20-40 minutes to get the part myself. The part did not come with the fuses needed (10, 20, and 30 amp) and his store only had the 10 and 20 in stock. He took a 30 amp out of his own car to get me road-worthy!

Staff here is respectful and gave me undivided attention, UNLIKE the Uhaul across Lowes on hwy 70 in Garner where I went earlier, male employee asked "may I help you" and immediately picks up the phone, dials and started talking on the phone to another person while his customer was right in front of him AND when it was my turn, female employee asks "may I help you and she immediately turned her head and starts talking to a co-worker. so I wait til they finish their conversation, I asked "are you done" she apologized followed by "We do not have trucks available" while the parking lot is FULL (supposedly "reserved").
