Maintenance minder light came on two hours into the journey. Made for some nervousness and an irritation on the dash. Would be nice to have avoided this if truck was serviced before trip. Otherwise truck worked well and performed as expected.

The rental was great with one exception. I rented a 26 foot truck for a one way rental. When I went to lock the truck for the night, I realized there was no lock. Of course, it was after hours so the call service answered. I was informed that locks are not included for one way out of town rentals. Had I known this, I could have bought one at Uhaul. However, the representative in the store failed to mention anything about a lock not being included.

Truck was very old and got 9 - 10 MPG. Already had about 25 marked dents and scratches on the truck. Talked to manager about the condition of truck. Not even an apology was offered!

Not your fault, but the extended roadwork going on outside of this location makes it difficult to get out with a large truck in traffic.

I had to pay for damage I did not do to the vehicle. I have leased several times from u-haul and never had this happen before. Next time I will lease elsewhere if possible. If not, I will thoroughly inspect the vehicle before I leave the lot. The damage was not obvious on casual inspection. Also, I was told the insurance did not cover the top of the truck.

Rented a van for four hours, used it only one hour, only drove 9 miles and got charged $7.00 for gas, rediculous!

My problem is NOT with the location. The problem is with U-Haul's after hours process. That was a nightmare. We were cold and exhausted at the end of a long day and then had to go through this ridiculous closure process. It wouldn't "locate" us at first so we had to go through all that and then the whole thing around taking pictures and following your step by step instructions. It delayed us another 30 minutes just trying to figure it all out and we're probably more tech savvy than some of your customers. This was absolutely ridiculous! Whatever happened to just dropping the key in the overnight box and being done with it????? In the end, we still had to do that too. This is NOT customer friendly and I will think twice about using U-Haul again if I think I'm going to have to drop off the truck after closing hours. You also charged us extra in the end. Don't we get the truck for 24 hours? If we don't, no one mentioned that if we didn't return it by our estimated time that we would get charged double. If they had, I would have said the time would be even later. We were never informed of that either.

Not the locations fault but there is construction on the roads in this area. It made it very hard to get to the location.

The inside of the truck was dirty, dusty. The location is crowded, they had many newer trucks but they gave us an old beat up truck. Parked way in the back. Nothing like the truck by the door where we entered the shop. There were so many scratches, dents, broken front bumper. It would have taken a half hour to detail on the rental agreement. Guy go going over the agreement marked as long over the paperwork. Kept saying do this do that online.

Friendly and generous customer service! The manager kindly redeemed a recently expired coupon because only store managers may do so, not any store employees. I had tried to redeem it several times before it had expired but no employees could do it, so once I explained my situation to Ana Fuentes, the store manager at this location, she had no qualms about giving me a new coupon equivalent in value so that I can use it for my current need. I have rented vehicles from this U-Haul location a few times in the past and present and would definitely do so again in the future.

We had to return the first trailer we got because it was squeaking and causing our van to shake. The second trailer was fine. We were supposed to get an email with the new trailer tag no., but did not. When we returned the trailer in Port Charlotte, FL, the tag no. on the contract was for the first trailer. I had no record for the second trailer. This caused a little confusion for that location, but they were very good about it.
