I borrowed a flat bed car hauler from this Uhual, and I had accidentally done some damage to their product. I had paid for the insurance, but it was unclear of how things moved forward. I am hoping in the future, hoping I personally don't deal with it again, that they help walk me through what they do to get their equipment fixed and make sure I can be 100% off the hook. Though I am almost positive the insurance covers it all, I just wanted some more reassuring knowledge.

There was a fairly long wait to pick up the truck. I assume there was a staff shortage.
joe K.We got charged $70 for gas when the truck had a broken gas gage. We found out it was broken when it ran out of gas after driving it maybe 12 miles. We ended up putting in 12 gallons of gas (including putting gas in to get to to our new place, and then taking it back, which was only a few miles). When returning the truck, my husband told the employee what happened, along with the truck had balled tires. All the employee had to say was "ok." We will be calling tomorrow to get a refund. If we do not get a refund, we will be disputing the charges.

Wait in line for half an hour to get told the don't have the truck and the people who have it will be at least another thirty minutes. So we ended up going with a 10 foot truck they had available, and had to make two trips and more work for ourselves because they were double booked. The man working at the desk was at least nice though.

Dale H.I called to have the reserved truck ready with the Trailer loaded and ready. We drove 2 hours to pick up a 15 foot box truck with car hauler. When we arrived it wasn't ready. We sat around for 45 minutes to get out the door. We then had to drive 2 more hours to get to our location. They had nothing available local for our circumstances. It would have been nice to at least been something closer to our destination. It may not seem like a big deal, however the 125.00 gas fill up made it much more expensive than anticipated.

We are very unhappy with the experience and will be taking this matter further.

The capacity of the gas tank should be clearly displayed so the customer doesn't have to guess how much fuel is needed to get it back to the starting level in order to avoid paying your ridiculous price for gas. The material of the steering wheel had started to deteriorate and left a tacky residue on my hands. The sun visor was not attached on one side, causing it to droop in front of the windshield. The back bumper (the metal step before the bed itself) gets extremely slippery when wet. Better textured metal or some sort of non-slip surface would be much safer.
