The van I received was "clean" but as I took possession and drove, it reeked of urine. This was certainly not done by me and I had told the gentleman of this as I left. It was also apparent that there was smoking in the vehicle prior to taking my possession (it smelled of stale smoke.) A better job needs to be done at cleaning the car prior to the next customer taking possession. I would not return to this location again. Two people were working but the one gentleman, who I assume was the manager was the only one capable of making a phone call to Uhaul customer service to refund my seven dollars...I would have left, but the principle of leaving seven dollars behind prevented me from doing so. But I know each location varies, so I would use U-Haul again. Just not that one.

The vehicle was fine in the morning but would not start in the afternoon. After a little discussion with the staff at the Atlas Ct. location in Madison, they agreed to refund the cost of the vehicle as well as pick it up from our location as it would not start.

The facility was fine, but there were quite a few people there confused with how to pick up or drop off the trucks. Including where to park them. I think if UHAUL wants to do an online return (which is fine), they should have a kiosk or some tool to help do that rather than requiring the renters to use their phones. In some cases there, the people couldn't get signal on their phone, or their phone was dead.

I had asked for a 4x8 enclosed trailer, they just set me up with a 5x8 without asking if it was ok and without researching if there were any 4x8s available anywhere. When I set up rental it was set upas 12 hours only not 24, and I was not informed as to why I could only have for 12 hours when 24 is the standard. Other inquiries show me that a one way trip with these trailers to ok me city I am looking to move to is $105 (100-120 miles), but a one way trip to a different city I am looking to move to is only $78 (240-250 miles). I find the price difference to be unsettling and questionable. Customer service was good, quick pick up and drop off times.

Dropped off after hours using the app and the whole process was very simple. The location itself is very well lit and pretty secure. Felt comfortable being there at night and i would go to this location in the future if i need a rental. Overall experience dealing with Uhaul = 9.9/10.

this is a comment on your relationship with My mover confirmed the appointment, but was a no show. when I tried to get help from, they informed me all they could do is refer me to the website to find another mover, which I did, found one that said they were available, that morning, but they never called after repeated calls to them. I did receive a call in the early afternoon, after I had been working on emptying the truck myself. no accountabiltiy from that whole company. I had to do the work all myself, extend my current rental by 2 days, hire another company to move all my stuff from the location I had hired to do, and I have to take the next 2 days off from work to get access for 2 men and a truck to clean up moving's mess. Total failure. no call, no show, he texted me later that night to tell me he was sick...I wonder how he was able to inform his coworkers of the situation, but not call me? I was totally blown away by this deal. I am out at least $1500 in extra costs, and was never able to even use the uhaul I rented for the purpose I actually rented it for. You need to reconsider your relationship with, I would love to have a business to send my receipts to, but I am pretty sure that will never happen, so know that I will never use Uhaul (who let me arrange this movinghelp worker/team through your website) and especially Waste of time and money. Sad statement, as I never had issues with uhaul before I encountered I would love a call from someone in customer management so I could tell you in detail the hell I went through . Good luck!

Turn in was basically issue free all though a gentleman pulled up in plain clothes and a mini-van and asked if I had any questions. He also gave me a detail of the turn in process, said he had to stop in after hours and said he could take the keys. He was very friendly and nice, all though when I left I was thinking "should I have done that?" Not sure what a fix to that would be as he was just trying to help and do customer service while off hours. But I did call the next day just to make sure the Uhaul was not now a stolen, mobile disco :) Probably the best route in that situation (which would be rare, employee on site after hours) would just have the employee point the customer to the key drop. Again the gentleman was very courteous, friendly and helpful. This was more of a Uhaul/Customer security issue.
