The truck I used had obvious transmission issues, also I was charged 25 cleaning fee for putting the blankets back in the blanket bag. I was told that they were going to waive the fee and they did not.

The trailer chains were very long. The quick-links were thread-locked tight. Never adjusted. They just twisted the chains untill they barely dragged. I tow a boat every summer, and I know this is totally unacceptable. I personally redid them, in the rain. adjusted the quick-links properly, and tucked up the remaining chain using my own caribeeners. These quick links were so tight with the thread lock, I can confidently say they have never been adjusted. Twisting the chain will weaken its breaking strength, causing a severe safety hazard.I explained this to the drop off site as well. They need retraining at the rhode island office.

We rented a 26' truck. The windows were dirty and the check engine light and the oil was on. Spoke to the u haul rep and she said it was a sensor and it would be fine. Luckily we did not break down. !!!

The entire process was easy: on-line reservation, quick pick-up, the right size truck for the job, quick drop-off. The rental facility was neat and spotless, and the GM (Dawn) was helpful and pleasant. Who knew renting a truck on a Saturday could be such a great experience!

The online check-in process was cumbersome and took an unnecessarily long time. Why would you need to verify that someone can answer the additional contact person when checking in online but not in store? That doesn't make sense.

Tank wasn't filled... otherwise truck was clean and did it's job. However the organization of the trucks and where you find yours was a real task... I would say if your going to make a mobile way to get a truck without speaking to someone face to face please fix where to find your truck. I had to ask because it was impossible to find

I am usually one who is very open-minded and fair given the state of our world these days taking into account all of the precautions needed that was a non-issue my issue with that I drove 2 hours from New Hampshire to Rhode Island to help my daughter move I reserved the truck I had everything ready and I came into the store and it took 40 minutes waiting in line to get the truck which significantly impacted my move time at the other end when I get in to be 15 foot truck and started the thing up there was a awful sound and nobody was available nobody came out with me to walk around the vehicle the person who handled my transaction was very pleasant he was extremely helpful in a counter portion once I got to the counter every experience I've ever had with U-Haul which I use you guys constantly has been relatively simple and has been quick and efficient those were my thoughts when making the reservation before coming out there my problem is being a customer from out of state and not having associate come outside with me which is something that I have never seen happened before to verify the condition of the vehicle before I drive it off the lot so anything can be said about the vehicle once it's returned and it may or may not be a negative or a positive for the rental customer being myself I don't think there are enough staff on weekends in this location you have the two people at the counter handling the customers in the store having to leave the counter go outside to do whatever is needed outside which takes time and then come back in and finish the transaction per customer and when you've got seven people waiting to pick up Vehicles it's a really frustrating situation I'm a very patient person I am getting ready to move and I currently have a storage unit in Fremont New Hampshire iPad for 6 months and my intention was to rent another U-Haul truck from my move on October 9th I am very seriously considering using another truck rental company at this point I paid a lot to rent that truck I brought it back with more gas in it then I left with and it was clean and then I get you know this message telling me that if the truck isn't swept out I'm going to be charged additional fees it was just an overall very unpleasant experience and to say the least I was disappointed what's how much time of my time that got eaten up

The contactless pickup process is a mess! I used this for my visit and it took me 45 minutes to get my keys because when filling out the forms in the app, there is no mention that they will call your alternative contact. If the contact can't be reached the process can't continue. I tried chatting with the representative and it would take 15+ minutes for a response. On top of that, at the end you still have to go into the store and get the key, so not true contactless pickup!

The truck was very clean and ran well. I rented 12 blankets but 4 of them were different degrees of wet.... Some just being damp in small areas but still nothing I would use on my wood furniture.

The Uhaul manager working 29-30 Aug (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) was extremely helpful with loading/unloading my 3 uboxes on the trailer. I recently moved from NC and tried the ubox service. It was obvious the East Providence location was very busy that weekend but the manager took the time to ensure I was taken care of (along with the other customers) and was very friendly, positive and professional. I highly appreciated the customer service and want to thank the manager for being so helpful. I'd recommend Uhaul and the East Providence location just because of him. Thank you.

The customer service was excellent and has overall been very good as I've used you over the years. The online check-in and technology however appears to need improvement. It's not consumer friendly. For example, it required me to use a code and did not send the code as requested, then as I waited for the code (which never came) I went back and was timed out of your system, having to start the process all over again. Also, your QR code was not easily located.

The lights in our hallway where our storage were off. Was told to walk all the way down for them to turn on. Didn’t happen and had to pack most of it in the dark. Every other hallway had lights but ours. Rang the assistance buzzer multiple times and no kne answered or came.

I was surprised by the size of the unit. The website states it can fit three bedrooms. I believe this is true if you have small furniture. I had to purchase two units to fit a two room apartment.
