Allways when I call they available to reference me to others Uhual when they don’t have the truck or trailer I need. So nice. 👍🏼 all trucks are cheaper in gas than my trucks.

Timothy TI didn’t see a fuel tank capacity on gallons on the truck or the contract. This would be helpful when refilling the gas to where it was when received. My truck was delivered with a quarter tank and I had to guess how many gallons to refill. I was lucky, but at the current gas prices , this would be a courtesy to customers. Otherwise a great experience with this location, and why I keep coming back for my rental needs.

Michael PI made a reservation several weeks before i needed the truck.. the week of, my pickup location was changed by U-haul to a further away place which botched up all the logistics of the plans i had laid & the schedules of those helping me.Also it would incur more costs since it was far away and you charge by the mile. I was told that the truck i reserved wasn't available at the location. Meanwhile, when i pulled into your parking lot to pick up the cargo van that i was forced to downgrade to , I saw several of what i had originally ordered sitting on the parking lot.... So, I had to cancel and make a different reservation for a smaller vehicle which made the move more difficult because certain items wouldn't fit and had to be disassembled & then put back together again after unloading. Not happy with the attempted "switch & bait". However, your emplyees were polite and professional

David Rthe staff were lovely and helpful but the facility was dismal. For the entire month I was using a unit, there was a stained and mouldering mattress in the hallway of the building. My items took on a musty odor that has been challenging to clear. So not my usual experience with UHaul storage spaces.

KARIN BStaff at this location are excellent. I was having an issue with the app double charging me and had to go into the office. Staff corrected the issue quickly and had me on my way. Always recommend this location when someone mentions needing a truck.

Dissatisfied with service due to I have always used uhaul for military discounts when moving and unfortunately this location did not provide that discount. I will be rethinking who I choose for service in the future unfortunately now.
Christopher BI rented a U-Box here for a long time and a truck recently to move my things out. The staff tended to be quiet, which can sometimes give the wrong impression. But they were always well-informed, efficient, polite and treated me very well.

JULIA F | Overall ExperienceThe van rented smelled of past smokers- which if you have fabric furniture in it is a problem My biggest complaint would be that the young person behind the desk when I came to check out the van was interrupted by a phone and instead of answering “U-Haul can you please hold” they took the call and was on the phone for 7 to 8 minutes? I’m standing right there. Any phone calls should be placed on hold
SUE IThe van was not vacuumed out, your staff did not go over anything with me from the starting mileage to the start time. Very off putting when I returned the van your staff member was ok you are all set an I replied no I am not I want to know what the end mileage and to make sure the gas was correct. Staff member gave the impression they did not want to be their... over all they need to improve their customer interaction.

IDSON BVan not clean. Contract from 11/14/2025 simren patel. Then mail for Kaleb almeida. There were spoons knifes fork and slate and pepper.. Van stunk of pot covered by a strong peppermint smell. Also told at the counter I had to take the insurance. I told persons atthe counter I rental a lot and I have never heard of this. I asked to speak to the manager/ person tried to call no one picked up. Counter person tried to call a different manger no one picked up. So in summary Van stunk of weed / wasted a bunch of time a counter regading insurance. Van fithy.
RICHARD PWe were overcharged for mileage. We drove the truck locally for only 12 miles but we were charged double . The truck was also not clean so we took care of it. The representative tried to push extra insurance as mandatory although my policy covered the vehicle.

BEKIM LI hooked up the chains because it looked like your employee didn't want to bend into the snow. I think he should have said i will hook it up and you double check. It was my knee that got wet and then traveled with a knee that was wet. I would prefer him to have the wet knee or a card board to put on the ground to keep the knee from getting wet.

I would not recommend anybody to use that storage agency and I pay $214 for my stuff to be ruined by mice. and they went up for maintenance but in cleaning, but what were they cleaning if I had a whole bunch of mouse droppings in my unit?

There was no way to correct this over a whole year, and I gave up and moved into another unit of the same floor, but without dripping oil.

(must be the location, the Cumberland facility ran more smoothly). The fact that the location is more difficult to travel to because of the recent bridge construction, I would not recommend that particular site. I could have emptied my unit a while back, but dreaded traveling through the RT195 mayhem.

I’m disappointed that I couldn’t use prorated money after using only few days out of 30 days. Access to storage sucks. Closing at 7 pm after all we get off at 5 pm from work. This is a no brainer!!!! Make it 9 or 10 pm make more sense than 7 pm.

One of the fans seems to be loose and makes a lot of noise. Last time I was there I didn't hear it, so maybe it was already fixed. A bathroom would be an amazing addition.

Rather, movers moved my things into storage because I was out of town. The facility lost my keys, and I had to pay $100 for a locksmith to come while my movers waited to open the lock.

I am still receiving a bill for thousands of dollars and continuously harassed by one of the managers after I explained my situation. If I have a financial hardship and can't pay. How do you think that is suddenly going to change. And after I had already emptied out the unit and left my keys with your associates. They screwed up and I get blamed for it. It's bad enough that when you come into the office you can't get anyone to acknowledge your presence, nevermind help you. Your business is good but individual people are so incompetent and customers should not have to suffer for their lack of professionalism. Please do better.

That’s not that big of deal, and then everything went down hill from there. I was expecting a bigger storage unit and I expressed that as I saw what I received. Didn’t really try ans help me find a bigger one. And THEN the doors wouldn’t open. The WHOLE time I was unloading my Uhaul full of stuff. The employee never came back to check on me and was like “idk I guess they’re broken”?? Like what?? How unsafe also it took so long to take all my stuff out since I had to wedge the emergency door open! Super unsafe and I highly do NOT recommend

Very attentive to my needs and did not suffocate me with loads of products/services that would’ve costs lots of money. I had a bit of a weird experience with the issue in using the dumpsters at the property. I used the night I moved out and was charged $40 for it. At no point did someone from the company state that the dumpsters were off limits to renters. Mind you, someone came up to us at the trash and even wished us a good night. If that was the case, why weren’t we addressed then? We would’ve immediately went elsewhere had we known prior to emptying out the unit and throwing them there, we would’ve went elsewhere.

Kathlene M | Overall ExperienceThere was an issue with the electronic entrance to my unit for the first 2 months of our experience, which meant I could not access the unit after 7pm, which did not adhere to the posted schedule I had signed up for. I brought it to the attention of management and they said they were working on fixing it & apologized for the inconvenience. But upon asking for some sort of bill reduction, I was told they’d have to ask the facility head. Ivory ever got back to me & I was given the runaround a few times. That’s not right. Not giving me access at times outside my personal work hours really resulted in a terrible experience. Additionally, I showed up 10 minutes before the office closed one night & asked the staff member in duty if he could help me get into my unit as my card wasn’t working. He said he couldn’t because he was closing up. Again, awful customer service & completely inappropriate foe the staff member to value their closing over a customers needs while they were still open. While the door issue was eventually fixed, it was too little too late. We’ve since moved to another facility in the area & are having a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself ever using UHaul again.

Dawn went above and beyond to help me when I arrived it was noted that the call and reservation center did not send my storage rental information to them so they could get my ubox out of storage so I could have it transferred to a storage unit. They also gave me wrong information about what a split level unit is; luckily once again Dawn at the site location saved me from climbing stairs to get to a unit. Very unprofessional of UHAUL Call Center! If not for Dawn who went out of her way to get my ubox out from being buried among other uboxes, I would have been out $200 for the movers I had arranged. Thank you Dawn!!! As for the UHAUL Call & Reservation Center HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The storage facility at East Providence is clean but two things I didn't like: 1. street level storage units have very low ceilings, smell damp and there is no lights so the units are dark. 2. there is no elevator for above street level storage or split levels which is ridiculous!! don't know about lighting because I didn't look at those units.
