Truck and trailer were not ready, waited 2 hours due to a employee not knowing their password. Once I finally got the truck I was half way to the back to my mothers house and realized they never put the dolly In the truck. Also half way through Kansas the bugs started getting bad, no washer fluid, garbage under seats. Lastly, went to drop the truck and trailer and the employee told me I went 18 over the amount alotted. I wad never told there was a mile limit. Why would u rent say u have the truck for 5 days, but not be clear there is only a certain amount of miles.

I don't know why i was charged almost $100 for gas when the truck was at 1/2 when i got it and it took $25 to put it back there and my mom said she put gas in it before sje dropped it off and then charged $20 for putting key in drop box when i was told that once the truck was dropped off we could put the key in that box I PROMISE I WON'T EVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AFTER THIS BIG EXPENSIVE THEY JUST TOOL FROM MY DAUGHTER AND I TO HAVE FOOD IN OUR HOME AND CHARGED WAY MORE THAN SHOULD HAVE AND NO ONE EVER EXPLAINED THIS TO ME ABOUT THESE CHARGES OR THE AMOUNT IT COULD BE NOT A HAPPY PERSON OR WILL TELL OTHERS TO DO UHAUL WHEN THEY MOVE.

Passenger door handle broke had to crawl through driver side to open door. When it was time to return truck it wouldn't allow me to return the truck through the 24/7 share, kept saying share location. I called customer service, I was on hold for about 45 minutes. After being the Uhaul location for almost a hour trying to return the truck. I finally put the keys in the drop box and left. After a hour and half uhaul finally answer, they told me to call back in morning. I called back first thing in the morning i was transfered to 3 different locations. I was told that they would call back. No call back. I was charged $20 extra for not being able to log on to the 24/7 share

Make sure the tank is filled before it's rented out. We started out with 1/8 a tank so we had to put gas in before we could even get out of town

I didn't appreciate receiving a phone call about not returning my unit when I had returned it 5 hours previous and 4 hours before it was due back.. Not sure what that was about, but it was resolved

Brian who handled our process of checking out a trailer was very nice and did a quick job for us to get going on our way. When I returned the trailer later the lady who checked me back in was also very courteous and efficient in checking back in the trailer. Overall I’m very haply with the people we interacted with and will be back when needed.

when returning rental unit, main employee didnt say anything when I entered. Employee was messing with the computer then just turned around and walked into the back of the building, no acknowledgement that I was even there. After about 5 minutes, finally another employee walked in and helped me. Also, there was no paperwork. The store had run out of forms, how can that ever happen?

The truck was a typical “old” U- Haul truck the shook at a speed of 60 miles an hour.

We were sent a link via text to check the truck in. I followed the link & completed it. I was charged $20 for supposedly not checking in the truck. I contacted the location on Hubbell Avenue in Des Moines Iowa, but they haven’t refunded the $20. If the money isn’t isn’t returned I will take legal action. This is a scam! Please refund my $20!

The mobile drop-off was concerning for me. The app needs to be improved, I had difficulty with it, and I just didn't listen well to my rental guy when he told me what to do if I came back after hours.

Equipment broke down. Roadside Assistance directed me to a separate location after a service tech wasn’t available to inspect the truck. I advised Roadside Assistance that we would not be able to re-fuel the truck. Called again Monday the 12th was reassured notes on the reservation about fueling and today I receive an updated bill charging me for fuel! Poor customer service, can not reach the location at all...won’t be going back.

The person there lied to us. He told us we could rent more blankets, if they are eventually not used, we may just tell and we shouldn't be charged, but when we returned unused blankets, we still got charged and we were told " no credit for unused ones". Not sure who lied, the rental site or the returning site? The personel there not helpful at all, we have to search and find a closer returning site ourselves and made the call ourselves, the person there e rental place or the return place.

The rental process was good. I reserved the trailer on line and picked it up. The trailer was a motorcycle trailer. The trailer needs to be redesigned. The bed has a corugated surface, which the motorcycle would follow along a groove. None of those grooves lined up correctly with the wheel chock. The center of the trailer needs a flat track area in line with the chock.

I have no complaints about this location. My complaint is that they moved my pickup location and this location is not convenient and several miles farther away. The longer distance caused me to go over on the miles. The destination location waived the extra charges.

One of the tires on the dolly was missing tread and the belts were exposed. It was more than 25% of the tire. Strap that holds the tire in position was frayed to the point where it almost didn't feed properly into the ratchet. I wouldn't complain but I did use this for an 8 hour round-trip and I was afraid the equipment wouldn't hold up. When I removed the car I noticed the frayed strap wouldn't stay tight on the wheel. Very dangerous..

The only problem was I reserved a 15’ truck. The night before pick-up they called and said the 15’ truck would not be ready until 5pm. I was to get it at 8am that morning. I had to take a 10’ so I could get it at 8am. It was too small so I needed 2 trips instead of 1. If I had known they had no 15’ I would have scheduled a different date. As it was I could not change dates because the pick-up I was going to make wasvalready arranged at that point.

The truck was in great condition. The staff was helpful. However, the wait time was longer than expected and the cost per mile was higher than other rental truck places.

Employee was awesome. Truck sucked! Felt like transmission is going out as it was slow to shift. Engine light was on in the truck! Thank God it was needed locally, and that I wasn't travelling far...not sure vehicle would have made it!

Had a truck lined up for Thursday at 11 am I got there about 10:30 and the truck was not back yet, and wasn’t returned until the afternoon. The general manager was great and gave me the 50 dollar guarantee but I have yet to see that hit my credit card.

I was not happy to be charged $25 for cleaning. When I picked up the van it was not very clean hen I tried to upload pictures it only allowed me to upload 1 picture. Also had I known there was $25 charge I would have cleaned it myself!!!

I was very frustrated that U-Haul changed my pick up location and time as well as the drop off location. It made it very inconvenient for me to get the trailer and bring it back. Also, the hitch kit didn't come with all the necessary parts, and I had to buy more upon pickup. It was very annoying and expensive.

Multiple holds were put on my bank account and once the final billing was completed (instead of taking the difference of the billed amount + prepaid deposits) UHaul took the total billed amount, leaving me with a $99.×× unnecessary hold on my account.

The only issue I had with the moving truck rental was that there was a panel in the middle of the bed of the truck that was loose and we could have injured ourselves when we were walking in and out of the truck if we hadn't paid close attention. Other than that, everything went great. Even though I was a couple hours late to pick up the truck, they were understanding and patient enough to wait for me to arrive and not to give the truck to someone else. It seemed like the moving truck experience was the only thing that went smooth on move-in day. Thank you so much!

Signed up to have the truck for a week, was only given the truck for 5 hours. Was not told the final date when they released the truck only that it was due back at 2 pm so thought the truck was ours for the whole week. Had to fined storage last minute and only were super lucky to find a place to put my stuff. My whole town and surrounding towns were all full except a building that had just opened a month ago. If that hadn't just opened we would have been screwed.

You lost one of my boxes because apparently the only way to identify them is by which padlock we use and you couldn't figure out which one was ours. Why aren't each boxes number or something like that? I've had to sleep on the floor for a month with almoat none of my stuff due entirely to your sheer incompotence. I will be expecting a refund once this is all over.

Need to improve the after hours pick up online. That process was absolutely ridiculous. 2hrs on the phone with 4 different customer service reps with a 30 min wait time just to get someone on the phone. All they wanted to do was pass you off to someone else and was blind transferred several times. Only to have to explain the issue all over again. I paid for 6hrs but it took almost 3hrs to get the truck, due to the lady who scheduled my pick up not booking it for potential pick up after hours. Only positive feedback I have after being redirected on the phone for 2 hrs is that I finally beat on the door at this location hoping someone was still in there and the manager opened the door for me even when he was closing to finally figure out why I wasn't able to pick up my truck via online. He was patient with me even though I had completely lost my patience. You need to figure out a way for customer service to help you when you call in because you're unable to get the online website to work properly in order to get the key code and keys to the truck. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had trying to move on top of all the added stress. Frustrated that I paid for 6hrs but with all the issues I lost almost 3hrs before I was ev able to get in thr truck.

Great Staff to work with at this location. The trailer had some issues backing up (one of the axles would lock when on an incline). The pictures shown on my "report initial damage" app were of a different trailer. Good idea, "miss" on the implementation.
