The vehicle and checkout was great, but I realized when I filled the tank before return that it had not been full when I started. The contract showed a full tank, and gage was between F and the mark below it when we started, but after I put in 4 gallons after a 12 mile trip, it was a half line above F. This was in a pickup with an EPA rating of 19MPG, which we used to haul firewood for about 5 miles of that total. Also when we checked we were charged 17 miles, so that's about 3 gallons and 5 miles more than we used and added almost $15 to our $20 rental. I asked the attendant about it when I returned the vehicle, and he was not interested in discussing this at all, just checked me in and said â€œok thanks, you're all taken care ofâ€. So, I guess remember to verify that the gas and mileage on your contract is accurate before you leave the lot. My mistake for not thinking of that. I did get a helpful text from u-haul about an hour after leaving the lot that reminded me to inspect the vehicle before leaving the lot. The attendant checking me out did not mention this, it would have saved me some frustration.
Very short handed. Employees working are miserable and don't seem to want to be there. Did the pre check in and still took darn near one hour to check it.
I purchased the trailer light adapter from UHaul. It was misting and overcast the day we used the trailer, so had the lights on while we were travelling. We unloaded the last load and were scheduled to have the trailer back by 7. We got halfway down the block and realized trailer lights weren't on. The adapter wasn't lit up either. It was frustrating to return the trailer without lights. We drove the back streets and were held up by a train stopped for over half hour. Luckily we weren't pulled over. I haven't looked closely at the adapter to see if there's a fuse in it that could have blown. Seems that the adapter is defective. Fortunately, we rented a utility trailer, so motorists behind us could at least see the truck's tailights. I couldn't imagine the frustration if such a thing occurred while traveling with a box trailer.
The front window of the van was dirty in the inside and outside. The interior was very clean.
Tis location was severely under staffed

I was sent to the Hubble location due to a scheduling conflict with the original location, so pickup didn't go so smooth.
Staff was very unfriendly and rude.
I picked the 24/7 truck share so I could pick up the truck at 7:30am before the store opened so I wouldn't waste my Sunday moving all day as we just needed to make one trip and it would only take a couple hours. When I got there 15 minutes early as the email suggested. I was unable to pick up my truck and told I had to wait until the store opened at 9. I was very upset. I called customer service and explained the situation the credited me 50 dollars back. I explained to them this was ridiculous and I didn't think I should have to pay for my rental because this was there mistake not mine. She told me I would have to discuss with general manager of the store when I got there. So after waiting almost two hours I went in and tried to explain to him what happened. He wasn't concerned about the situation at all. He didn't act like he cared at all. Didn't apologize. Then I told him I didn't feel like I should have to pay and he then gave me a total with the same price I was supposed to pay which was 60 something. I said there's nothing you could do. He's like oh, I forgot. Then gave me a total for 48. After looking at the receipt. Nothing was taken off my bill. I still paid 34.99 and mileage for the truck. I was very disappointed and won't be back. Very unprofessional.
When checking in the vehicle make sure you are doing it accurately.
I'm not sure if they were just short staffed or not, but there seemed to only be one person doing anything while others that looked like they may work there were just standing around goofing off with some construction guys.

I was charged A gas fee, for not returning it where it started, but I followed the instructions on the paper that were highlightedâ€¦ I wasn't going to turn around and drive to a gas station to put more gas in
On the question was it clean and inviting? To be fair. It was under remodeling.
The attendant that rented me the truck did not ask about mileage so when I returned the truck to Springfield, MO I was charged for extra mileage.

Hire people who have a focus on customer service. Absolutely terrible at 3 locations before I got a trailer. And then they tried overcharging me for a late return when I returned it same day. Never again.
