The “return date” on the paper says 12:00am and the day after your actual return date. That was confusing to me. I thought I was supposed to bring it back the next day before midnight and was almost charged more. Thankfully a staff member was understanding and waved the extra day fee for me.

I extended my rental for 4 days. I called in everyday and paid rental fees, added miles, and protection plan for each day. They are still trying to charge me 200 dollars for things I've to already paid for!! Also on 2 days when I called in, I mentioned that the windshield wipers didn't work which is why I had to extend my rental in the first place due to the rain/snow mix I couldn't see to drive to get my items moved. Also, when I called in to extend my rental the guy answering the phone put me on hold for 20 min. I hung up and called back and he starts laughing and said he forgot I was on hold. Super frustrating.

Pickup bed had snow in it and we had to shivel It out before we could use and at time of pick up gas guage was sitting on empty and had to get gas immediately they did give a gas credit but they are supposed to have a 1/4 tank of gas. We have rented from this retailer before and never got this kind of service. I am hoping it doesn't happen again

The staff was fine and fixed a broken strap before I took the trailer. I believe there was an issue with the brakes which caused the trailer to jerk my truck after stopping and taking off again. The price was extremely higher than it should have been....650 for 3 days is rediculious but I was in a bind. I've used these trailers multiple times locally because they are affordable, looks like that has come to an end.

Facility is very clean and organized-like the drive in bay for unloading and appreciate having the carts to use for transporting my boxes-very secure facility-staff is very nice and helpful-Brian took me to the unit and showed me how to do everything

Represet your trailers for what they are. I rented a 5 X 7 Trailer, had it hooked up and, wired. Then drove 30 miles to find out that the 5 X 7 is really a FUCKING 3 X 7! I mean SERIOUSLY!!! A 5 X & that measures only 3'3"! THAT'S FUCKING RIDICULOUS! I then called UHaul to speak with some brain dead fucking MORON who was reading from some stupid script, and was ZERO help. all the information she gave me was wrong, so I enden driving across town again to the location I originally rented for your BULLSHIT. The employees and manager at the location I rented from, were exceptional, and took care of me to the very best of their ability. I'm very disappointed with UHaul, ut thrilled with the team on Hubbell Ave. in Des Moines, Ia.

I have been to other uhaul place and rented and been able to get hitch for rental but was unable to here but it's okay just had to go back home and return for trailer, but over all love the sevice.

Was way overcharged for milage when the truck sat a whole day without moving because of snow storm and the the person at the desk was very rude would not tell me when manager comes in. And charged extra day because I was a few mins late because I had to wait til city plowed driveway because the snow was too thick to move the truck...I will never recommend service definitely not that location!!

Ubaul in genehas little to no customer service. I didn't realize I could have dropped the trailer and left. Instead the workers struggled with more computer problems and stood in line for 30 minutes with... nobody in front of me. You have the market cornered on cheap trailers. You get what you pay for.

A 6 ft. Trailer doesn't mean a 6 ft. Object can be loaded thru the door and into the trailer. The tailgate is only 5 ft. Wide. It can be misleading unless you check the width of the opening yourself. A lesson I learned after driving for 4 hours to load a Polaris ranger.

On second trip over I saw cockroaches running around, and on my final pick up I saw mouse droppings all over the place. I sprayed cockroach killer each visit and did see mouse traps the last time in the units that the doors were opened, but I will never leave my stuff here again for fear of what I will bring back to my house. I had my stuff here for 4 months and after 2 months the rate went up by $40 a month (about 50%) and no one ever told me that was going to happen, and since I have auto pay, it blindsided me, I was told that was the new rate. Overall a bad experience for me

I think if you provide GPS Navigator to rider or you ha e pre install GPS in truck that would helpful because if someone don't have GPS handy then they can use one and also people use U haul for long distance mostly go far,other thing is it is good if heat work back in truck so when whoever loding and unloding stuff from truck they dont feel very cold and also if light switch manually work then person don't need to go and turn on each time.

The vehicle and checkout was great, but I realized when I filled the tank before return that it had not been full when I started. The contract showed a full tank, and gage was between F and the mark below it when we started, but after I put in 4 gallons after a 12 mile trip, it was a half line above F. This was in a pickup with an EPA rating of 19MPG, which we used to haul firewood for about 5 miles of that total. Also when we checked we were charged 17 miles, so that's about 3 gallons and 5 miles more than we used and added almost $15 to our $20 rental. I asked the attendant about it when I returned the vehicle, and he was not interested in discussing this at all, just checked me in and said “ok thanks, you're all taken care of”. So, I guess remember to verify that the gas and mileage on your contract is accurate before you leave the lot. My mistake for not thinking of that. I did get a helpful text from u-haul about an hour after leaving the lot that reminded me to inspect the vehicle before leaving the lot. The attendant checking me out did not mention this, it would have saved me some frustration.

I purchased the trailer light adapter from UHaul. It was misting and overcast the day we used the trailer, so had the lights on while we were travelling. We unloaded the last load and were scheduled to have the trailer back by 7. We got halfway down the block and realized trailer lights weren't on. The adapter wasn't lit up either. It was frustrating to return the trailer without lights. We drove the back streets and were held up by a train stopped for over half hour. Luckily we weren't pulled over. I haven't looked closely at the adapter to see if there's a fuse in it that could have blown. Seems that the adapter is defective. Fortunately, we rented a utility trailer, so motorists behind us could at least see the truck's tailights. I couldn't imagine the frustration if such a thing occurred while traveling with a box trailer.

My experience was not necessarily a positive one, but I feel the staff and the manager made every effort to assist me. It feels as though they may be very short-staffed, which is stressful for both staff and customers. I had an exceedingly long wait on multiple occasions prior to my move-in, and noticed that some people walked out, unable to make their purchases. To their credit, the staff remain friendly, professional and helpful so I feel they are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances. I had to pay additional charges from the trucking company that moved me due to the long wait to get checked in. There is some type of construction taking place at this time in the storage area, so I found there is dust in the air. Someone was smoking in the storage area and I am hoping that it is not something that continues as I do not want our belongings to smell like cigarette smoke. The manager/staff assisted me with issues that occurred and I am appreciative of their efforts and satisfied at this time.

I waited all day for my Ubox to be delivered due to the large 10am-5pm window provided by Uhaul. It would be super helpful if the window was able to be narrowed down to 2 or 3 hour periods. The website also needs significant updating as I often encountered the error screen and therefore had to call - which would lead to 45minutes on hold. For example, I wanted to update my credit card online and was not able to do so. I therefore had to update it a total of 5 different times with staff over the phone because my previous card kept being used. Also every time I called about my reservation it seemed there was difficulty in finding it for staff.

I picked the 24/7 truck share so I could pick up the truck at 7:30am before the store opened so I wouldn't waste my Sunday moving all day as we just needed to make one trip and it would only take a couple hours. When I got there 15 minutes early as the email suggested. I was unable to pick up my truck and told I had to wait until the store opened at 9. I was very upset. I called customer service and explained the situation the credited me 50 dollars back. I explained to them this was ridiculous and I didn't think I should have to pay for my rental because this was there mistake not mine. She told me I would have to discuss with general manager of the store when I got there. So after waiting almost two hours I went in and tried to explain to him what happened. He wasn't concerned about the situation at all. He didn't act like he cared at all. Didn't apologize. Then I told him I didn't feel like I should have to pay and he then gave me a total with the same price I was supposed to pay which was 60 something. I said there's nothing you could do. He's like oh, I forgot. Then gave me a total for 48. After looking at the receipt. Nothing was taken off my bill. I still paid 34.99 and mileage for the truck. I was very disappointed and won't be back. Very unprofessional.
