Charged for two days when the truck was returned after 4 hours of use on first day of rental before the location closed for the day. Also mileage was inaccurately charged. Only went 32 miles but was charged for 77. Very dissatisfied with the location. Would have been a great rental if not for these issues.

I booked a truck in 5/2 for 7am 6/1 at the Main Street location.. On 5/31 I got a text that my truck would be available at noon on the other side of town. Had to make 2 calls to fix it. They acted like they did me such a huge favor for subbing out a 15’ for a 20’. When I tried to check in the guy had no idea who I was and then when he figured it out my drop off location was listed in another state. Interior of cab was filthy. I heard bad things from friends and coworkers but decided to try it anyway. My fault. Whatever. I’ll find a different service next time.

Your phone service calling in is horrendous. At pick up the counter rep said I could call and extend an extra 3 hours. He looked at the schedule for my truck and another same size truck. I call in to say I’m going to be late. On hold for 15 plus minutes and the gal says you can’t and need to get here right away. I told her what I was told. Tells me she will transfer me to the scheduling dept. I responded with I will never get your truck back to you sitting on hold 15-20 minutes at a crack. Ended the call and got the truck back ASAP. The check in guy taking the truck back was a d-bag to my wife and billed us for two days by the looks of the bill. Your employees can’t tell someone there’s flexibility then be rude about it when you have to take them up on the offer. Guess I could have called and sat on hold while was driving your truck down the road. I would like my bill to reviewed with some kind of proration for the hour or so extra I had your truck. Otherwise, I will be going to Penske, Budget, Hone DePot , Menards, or a local vendor the next time I need to rent a truck.

Would never use the other main st location. They were horrible and messed up the wiring on our car causing a 3 hour delay

We were told we would pick up on velp ave (minutes from our house). Then it was changed to the east side which is about 20 min away from our old house and easily 30 from our new house. I know they can change these things depending on availability but all my reservation information said velp on it so we went to velp to pick it up. We then got a call on Saturday morning saying there was a family waiting for our Uhaul and why hadn't we brought it back yesterday by 6 like we should have. (If we did need to have it back why didn't you call and ask where it was Friday night?) My husband talked to the guy when we rented it and he said we had it until Saturday and if we wanted to bring it back early we could. So we race the over 30 minutes with 2 kids that were expecting breakfast because we were just sitting down to eat when they called to get it back for the family that was waiting there. When we there there was no family there and about 3 or 4 trucks of the same size sitting there. I walked in the guy literally told me I can just go. I asked if he needed to check it out and at this point I don't trust anything so I wait in line while one guy is dealing with a line of about 4 to 5 people. Once it is my turn he walks out looks and I ask him why we didn't get a call if it was due back and he said well we didn't know if you were done with it yet...?!? After that I just stopped asking question...we finally left after signing the paperwork. (IDK how I would have been done if I would have just left the key like he told me to?) Not a good experience and will next time pay the extra to rent from somewhere else so we don't have to deal with all the inconveniences.

When renting unit I was not informed I would have to pick up at a different location. Reserve red and put deposit at Mivaley road in DePrere. 2 days before rental was notified they didn’t have a truck and think they could get a 15’ instead of 20’ then later I was called from )green bay Miami street location confirming a 20’ for pick up there. Main street did add 20 miles to rental and provided a $25 discount for the miss communication and additional time and miles.

I originally rented the truck for 2 days and within a couple hours later I was notified it was not available for the second day. The store manager was able to make it work for 2 days. When filling the truck with gas after putting $67.00 in the gas tank the gas gage on the truck never moved.

This was the worst customer service experience I ever had. When I reserved the truck online, I was kicked out of the site without receiving confirmation of the order which left me wondering what had happened. A day later I then got the order confirmation without an address for pickup. I had requested a certain address in the order. In the mean time, I found a location closer to my needs and stopped in to see if they could switch my order to their location. They didn't even look it up, they simply said no. When I went to the original requested location to pick it up, I was told I was at the wrong location, but they couldn't tell me the right one. I called the number on my reservation email and they told me to go to yet another location and that the truck would be there. When I got to this location, they said they didn't have it, and wouldn't be able to get one in the size I requested. They gave me $10 off the order and sent me to a third location. The third location honored the $10 off, and gave me a smaller truck. The smaller truck necessitated extra trips which ate up the $10 off in mileage charges. Finally, when I returned the truck, I was charged for two days, when I only had it for four hours and did all the return check in procedures. I called the store and they said they would fix it, but I haven't seen it come through on my credit card yet. Overall, a hugely disappointing experience that cost me a lot of money, extra time, and was not worth it.

Possible problem with the transition from GV to East Town Mall location Green Bay. Specifically asked for trailer that would take queen bed. Rented 5X8. Instead got a 5X10. Not knowing the difference drove to Ohio. Was able to bend the mattress to fit but had to throw out a perfectly good box spring.

The service was great. However, I discovered to rent the same trailer from WI to SC would cost about 3 times more than the rate we paid renting from SC to WI. We won't rent because of the high rate.

We had initially reserved our truck online. Within that, the customer sales team had screwed up our reserved truck 4 times. Every time they called to confirm pick up time something was wrong or was changed forcing us to rework our whole moving schedule. I will never use U-Haul again. Will go with Penske or another company.

The person I was helping forgot her key. It would be nice if they had a backup system to get in the storage units ie. Lock box system or something similar to a post office box for keys. Just a thought.

Make sure to tell them you want the wiring to be on the outside. on my van they told me that it would be fine to open the trunk, run the wire to the trailer from the inside of the van and close the hatch on the wire. Took me 2 minutes when i got home to pull the wire out and ziptie it underneath.

You need to start taking a look at how you send out electronic communication. You send pre-rental damage pics via text that can’t be opened. Then ask me to verify. Then you use the phrase “our records indicate” this is the 21st century, speak to me as a person. Your records have nothing to do with our business arrangements. Lastly, lose the 55 mph mileage stickers on everything. 55 hasn’t been the national speed limit for 36 years. Driving on freeways at 55 make you a road hazard not a safe driver. So stop trying to create traffic road blocks. If your equipment can’t handle freeway speeds, get new equipment.

The customer service person who was there was not interested in helping us extra in any way. When asked how to return after hours, he said "go to the app and it will explain it to you." He was just not into his job. And also we could barely see through the dirty windows on the truck.

I have been to many of the U-haul locations in the past looking at equipment to purchase and this location takes the cake, He keeps it very clean and the showroom is very well organized with products and displays. He was very professional is his explaining of the agreements and overall presentation of what is expected in renting of U-Haul equipment. A true asset to your operation.

Kept locking me out if I was 3 or days late on payments. Over 6 months of renting I had access for less than 40 days total. They got every penny I owed plus a 20 dollar late fee every month. RIP off

Bad experience! Received a call that I would not be able to pick up auto transport due to the weather but would be able to check out a truck instead. Pretty hard to haul a car inside a truck. I am moving related to Military service and unable to change the dates. Finally was allowed to pick up auto transport only if I hooked the trailer myself. In the process of picking up the auto transport, the employee required me to be in a photo of the trailer connected to my truck. What is that about? Also while I was in the store buying moving supplies, one of the employees seemed to be taking pictures or something as his phone was pointed towards my card during the purchase transaction.

My reservation was confirmed and then it was changed to a different drop-off location. That's fine. Then I received a receipt via email with my name and reservation number but not my CC or address. When I called to get this straightened out they had to recreate my reservation. When I returned my rental they had claimed the tank was 15/16 full but i had taken a photo at pickup it was 13/16 full. I returned 15/16 full despite this and showed Jared Cole (manager) and when i received my email receipt he still charged me $7 for the fuel charge. I won't be renting from Uhaul in the future.

First, have more than one person there on a weekend when it's the busiest. Waiting a good 15 minutes in line Second, my car dolly i rented wasn't properly inspected from the last rental because the pivot pin that goes in the middle so it can swivel wasn't properly secure with its own pin/cotton pin so when it bounced on the road, it flew off the dolly. Not something you want to experience going 45mph with other motorists behind you. Luckily no one got hurt.
