The associate taking care of me wore a mask, the other 2, and I assume one was a manager did not. They were in very close contact not socially distant. I thought that was inappropriate for these times

The only thing I found odd was that the counter person did not walk us to the vehicle while checking for damage (before we left the lot). All else, including customer service through return, was excellent.

Put $37 in first truck rented. Brakes failed. Delayed for 3 hours to get 2nd truck. Only 1/4 tank of gas. Low rear passenger tires very low on air. Wiper in bad shape. Traveled through 2 states while raining with bad driver's wiper. Not a happy camper with U-Hauls poor maintenance of vehicles that pose a danger to customers.

Everything was great excellent customer service. Inly bad part was returned after hours and someone returned a trailer right in the middle of drop off and didn't leave room for anyone else to return thier equipment. Live in wisconsin and had to do final check in blowing snow and wind with little cover from the elements.

the counter is usually understaffed, one person trying to do the paperwork and connect trailers. makes for a long wait in line. we dropped off our trailer at 7:30 pm after hours. it wasnt due until 7 am the next day. the online return website was not working. i was billed for an extra day because they didn't check in the trailer until 8:30. the trailer was sitting there when they opened. you would think they would use a check in time of 6:59... you would think!

Make sure that if you change pick-up locations of the truck they reserved THAT YOU ACTUALLY ESTABLISH CONTACT WITH THEM! I got dropped of Monday where I was suppose to pick up my rental but they knew nothing about it. After calling the Nationwide customer service number I found out that my pick up location was changed. They said they called, but I can't answer the phone freely with my job, AND THEY DIDNT EVEN LEAVE A VOICEMAIL TO INFORM ME OF ANY CHANGE. I waited in a gas station 2 hours for my ride, then had to get my truck from the other location. I picked up the truck, they said I was good to go. I get home (almost 3 hours later than planned) and find that none of the Dollys or carts I rented were in there. Thus having to call customer service again, and drive back and pick them up the next day. With the amount of time we took to make sure our move to OUR FIRST HOUSE went smoothly, you guys sure turned it into a dumpster fire pretty darn quick. You guys gave us a refund of $50 and it sounded like you wanted us to kiss your feet because of it. I've always used U-Haul for moving, but after this experience I'm just left feeling cheated and disrespected to a max. Even if it is less convenient or more expensive, I will seek out other company's for my moving needs. You guys were just awful.

All the people I dealt with from pickup to dropoff are top notch! Eugenio was there for my pickup, and he is just a great guy to deal with. I wish I would have known the name of the young man there when I dropped off, equally friendly, and just a pleasure to work with. Well done!

rear door was frozen shut. called helpline on hold for 20 minutes. they said they could not reach this center. i drove back to see if they could do something, all employees were outside smoking. after about a 1 hour delay totali was able to start

My padlock was left in the mechanism at the back and I drove off without it. The rep didn't seem to recognize the importance of a customer padlocking the trailer. But I came right back and got it. All was well.
