Rep seemed to be in a hurry to get us going. Asked about locking the trailer to our hitch and was told can't do that. We were traveling out of state and would have felt better to know that no one could just remove the trailer and leave with itJoseph T.

Made my reservation at one location apparently it was â€œmovedâ€ to another due to equipment issues. Never received a phone call stating so it was moved, Customer service at both locations very pour and unprofessional!Brad D.
I waited in the drop off area, as the sign said to stay with the truck and a representative would be out to assist. I waited for 10 minutes and then went inside to find assistance. When I walked in there were no other customers and the two workers both had their heads down and were both on their phones. They barely spoke to me and just took the keys with no questions or further information from me. They didn't do any type of check on the vehicle while I was there.SHAELYN M.

Truck cab was dirty, smelled of cigarettes, with old food sitting in the cup holders. Only had a little over a quarter tank of gas. Check out process via the web took 15-20 minutes to just verify my ID - would have been faster to just go into the office.Darin J.
I had big problems with my return. They had me going to the DePere location. When I arrived, they told me they weren't accepting trailers. Obviously, not my problem since I went to the correct placemat the correct time. I had to go 55 minutes out of my way to return to a different location. I should not have done this. I should've just left the trailer where I was originally scheduled to leave it. It left me late for a very important appointment I had. To be honest, it ruined my day. Your problem, your mistake, suddenly became my problem. Good customer service would've never let this happen. They should've accepted my trailer at the location on my contract and moved it themselves. For them to ask me to do that for them was terrible customer service. I did it because I am a nice guy. I reserved a covered 6x12 on Saturday afternoon. Picked it up Sunday morning. Process was quick and easy. The U-haul associate did all the heavy lifting. He made sure the coupling was correct and secured properly. Then this morning when I returned the trailer again the associate did all the heavy lifting. All in all the experience was great.Thomas W.
An employee at this location told me to go to the De Pere location instead (10 miles away!) where they would be able to store and take the truck back. We drive 3 hours (and 3 hours back later that night) to then have to drive to De Pere where the employee seemed helpful telling us we can store here and he will transfer the truck drop off. Well he ended up refusing to transfer the truck drop off and made us go to a THIRD location (and wouldn't even find the address for us, I made him point to google maps on my phone of where to go) another 10 or 15 miles away that when I got there the mobile drop off wouldn't work cause it said I was at the WRONG LOCATION! The store manager there waived the extra mileage and gas usage because of the extra 2 locations we were made to drive to by neglectful and unhelpful employees. Moving weekend long distance is already tiring and U-Haul made it a nightmare for us. No looking forward to having to move our things out of storage in a month because it will be another bad experience.Brianna B.

Check trailers for material left by others, like 2" of wet mulch stuck to floor. Also, do not bump to another site and also shorten the rental period without a DIRECT call to your customer. Keep it local.LAWRENCE W.

Pleasantly surprised. My prior 2 experiences with Uhaul were far less than positive. Both times, I put in a reservation which was not held, and I was left without a vehicle for moving. I swore I would NEVER rent from Uhaul again. I found myself having to move (for work) once again after 11 years in the same house, and was left with little choice but to hope and pray Uhaul would come through. In this case, the rental was easy, fast, and well handled. Equipment was exactly as described, and my truck did a great job handling a completely full 6x12 trailer. Staff was pleasant an helpful. I was on my way in a matter of 15 minutes or less.Douglas D.

Uhaul called me less than 48 hours from the time of my reservation for hitch installation and trailer to tell me that my hitch was on back order for a few weeks. I received the call on a Wednesday and was suppose to have the hitch installed on my vehicle that Friday. I had my reservation scheduled over a week in advance to make sure that I would be able to drive back to PA that Saturday to start a new job. I was told by the manager, David Kamps, that the hitch would be expedited from another store first thing Thursday morning and it would arrive sometime Saturday, and if not, by Monday the latest. The hitch never arrived Saturday. I went into the store Monday morning to speak with the manager and he said the hitch was expedited SATURDAY, when I was originally told it was Thursday. When I questioned him about the days, he said â€œwhatever day it was.â€ Manager told me he would call me that same day to give me an update if it arrived or not. I never once got a call from him or anyone at the store, so I made arrangements with a completely different company to install my hitch, which I'm so happy I didn't have uhaul install it! I got a call from Ashleigh almost 2 weeks later to tell me that the hitch finally arrived and she wanted to follow up to see if anyone has been in touch with me about the hitch. I told her that the manager never called me and updated me, so I went to a different company. Ashleigh and Cory were very helpful with setting me up with a trailer and providing me with a discount due to the huge inconvenience. Ashleigh also gave me her personal number to call/text her with any questions I had regarding the hitch and trailer. It's very frustrating when you put your trust into a company/business, especially when they provide you with confirmations of something you're paying to have done. I had to postpone moving and my job by a couple weeks due to this. I hope no one has to do go through the stress that this store has put me through.Amanda B.
