I then had to wait on other customers who did not order ahead to just verify a second number which I already did on the app. Also location said they only had a smaller truck than I ordered and costed way more in extra mileage.

I could never seem to get my order to show up on my online account. Regardless, my experience was good. Those are a few things that could be improved.

WARREN P.Walking out to the vehicle at check-out and including customer inspection of mileage and fuel level. That way u-haul cannot claim that there was a full tank of gas when there was not, and the proper milage and condition of vehicle can be agreed upon. Do not have the customer check all the signal lights upon returning the vehicle if the same was not done at check-out. Be polite to customers.
ANTHONYRAJ X.Your drivers provide excellent service in terms of helpful information about delivery/pickup times, etc. I was impressend on both ends with their attitude and helpful spirit. Regarding blankets, 24 is too many for a single U Box. I recommend 12. All of our furniture, flat screen TV arrived without a scratch. Good job.

Deborah H.I had unauthorized charges which ended up being due to charges for a 3rd box that I never received, about $500 in overcharges from what I was quoted on my second box (never resolved), lost my boxes (and/or didn't know which 2 of the 3 on my account were actually mine), late arrival, hours and hours on the phone talking to dozens of people who have no clue what's going on or how to help (not seeming like they have any desire to help anyway), misinformation, disconnected calls after waiting 10-15-20 minutes to be connected in the first place.... I've never dealt with such an unorganized shitshow of a company with such untrained, not-giving-a-shit employees in my life. I will never, ever use uhaul again for anything and I will actively warn everyone I meet about my horrible experience. You all ruined what should've been a great time for me. The worst part is, I'm sure this review falls on deaf ears as it's clear to me that the customer's happiness is not, in any way, of company concern.

At one point she threw a set of keys in anger at a shelf that was next to me. She is unprofessional and is causing a hostile environment. 7425 Washington St Indianapolis location.
Alicia S.From the start from the very reservation that I made I'm screwed around supposed to pick up at 12:00 finally got a truck at 2:38 and lost the job that I needed the truck for and had to pay somebody an extra $75 for doing nothing because he was paid by the hour I am not happy about this experience at all
Jon B.Staff was good. But I reserved the truck online yet still had to provide almost all the same information onsite. If I provide the information once then I should not have to provide it again. The check out process took way too long. Check in was quick and staff was courteous.

carmela C.I called the number that I saw for the location of this uhaul. I was forwarded to a call center where they connected me with someone about my ubox. I told them I was finished packing the box and that it was ready to be shipped on Saturday. I was hoping to get the ubox there before the intended date. I come in today Tuesday and find my box is still sitting where I left it. The man there today asked me if I was finished and I had been done for three days. I was told Sunday would be the last day and on Tuesday it is still in the same spot. I don't blame the people at the location but the person I called told me he would make a note and tell the location that I was done and to move the box to the next stages. I'm so frustrated and upset I had communicated multiple times with the people at the location that I needed it out asap. I told this as well to the man I spoke to on the phone. Very frustrating it feels like no one is listening. I went to the location on Sunday to close my unit I was renting but forgot my key so I left. I saw multiple uboxes loaded onto a truck and assumed that was mine. I understand the time limit you have on the shipping but I very much needed it to arrive sooner which I was not able to select online when purchasing the box. Very annoyed and would probably consider another option next time I have to move.
Andrew W.My rental reservation was 4. I got there at 240. No truck was available. No biggie. I specifically told the guy I would be back around 7. Clerk told me he may not have a truck. He said it kicked me off my reservation once I wasn't there. He ended up finding me one. The original employee interrupted when I told the current guy I should have a reservation, I showed up an hour early and it wasn't ready. Other employee interrupted and said “ it was more than an hourâ€. I don't need his smart ass remarks. The gentleman that checked me in upon return was very nice.
Aaron S.Gas gage was off. I was driving and ran out of gas. No low fuel light to warn me. The needle was above the E. I informed the young man when I returned it. I only used this location because the one was closet to me didn't have the size I needed.

Augustine D.First of all, i didn't move in! They accidentally moved me out of their system. The worst ! Location personnel only call when they want to get paid.. I have called this facility many many times and they route the calls to the national call center. They then call me that Location personnel will call me back. It never happened. They finally call back after the auto pay was cancelled for a storage that I moved out from....which I was calling them about for two weeks. There's more to the story .....Surprisingly.. I received a call whitin a day or two because they accidentally turned off the auto pay from My second storage that I still have over there...asking me for my credit card!...very incompetent ! Except for one male personnel, everyone else is rude.

Jeremie K.Worst experience ever with your rude people. Tried to call a million times but every phone call was floated to national phone. I was told that the manager was going to return my call. Even regional promised that I was going to be called. I left two messages with manager...no return call. They finally called me because I removed the automatic payment. They tagged my storage ready to be rented on March 14 before I even got a chance to clean and closed it myself. They won't prorated my rent when they chose to tag my unit. They only call when they are not getting paid. They are rude as well.

Amber M.The staff was very nice but the truck I used was terrible. The tire pressure light and check engine light were both on when I picked it up. There was some sort of delay in response between the gas pedal being pushed and the truck actually moving. It made the truck move jerky. The inside of the box was stained from past exploits. I've been a uhaul costumer directly or indirectly for over 30 years and this was by far the worse piece of equipment I've ever seen.
Robert C.Vehicle was not cleaned before renting out to me. Used food containers and empty beverage bottles left in the cab, steering wheel was sticky to the touch. Incredibly obvious that no cleaning measures were taken inside the vehicle.

lance R.1. The location is poorly managed. 2. Pam the manager if you can call her that is intentionally lazy, rude, a liar, and does not explain the rental process. 3. I will direct all my future rental needs and that of everyone I know to Enterprise rental car until Pam is fired. 4. If you want a horrible rent experience from beginning to end then this is the location for you. 5. The vehicle upon pick up was filthy.
Randy M.My only "complaint" is it seems the truck was out of alignment. I had to maintain the steering wheel at about 45 degrees left of center. Im sure many trucks are in similar condition so you are probably not surprised at this.
Joseph J.I was informed in the emails and texts I received that there would be a lock in the storage unit so I could lock it up once I finished unloading. There was no such thing so I had to go hunting for a lock around town. Not convenient for me, nor was it honest in the communication about the unit. That is the only reason I would not recommend this place to a friend.

They’ll eventually get it off (the website)“ I stated that was why we had picked u-haul but he didn’t seem to care.

I was told they have dumpsters but not for you to use & was threatened with $150.00 disposal charge. The manager had no sympathy & was very hateful. The climate control and cleanliness of all areas (including restrooms) is outstanding. The area set aside to leave/pickup unwanted items is an added bonus. In addition to the helpful staff, what I probably liked most was the ability to pull my vehicle inside, out of the weather, to load/unload. Should the situation arise in the future where I am in need of extra storage, I will definitely use this location again and highly recommend them to others. Ron Sutton Indianapolis

I rented a 26ft. truck and upon return the gentleman was not friendly because we arrived 15 minutes prior to close. He made sure I knew he was not happy to stay a few minutes over. The next morning I met Pam the GM and she was gracious, pleasant and very very knowledgeable of her store and operations She deserves a raise and someone to listen how to make things better. good job Pam
