Concerned.. if mileage was correct at 38 miles traveled... why did it cost me $25 in fuel? I filled upon returning at Thornton by the u haul location. 10 gals for 38 miles??? The van only gets 3.5 miles per gal??. Very disappointed

False misleading size advertising on trucks, .... tried to screw me on milage,, told me I couldn't have the truck 24 hours ... front end and ball joints wore out truck was difficult to keep in traffic lanes, uncaring, bitter, sarcastic, inattentive, condescending employees...

It took an hour and a half to get checked in, the employees were bickering among themselves which was very unprofessional and made for a very uncomfortable environment. I had choose not to purchase the insurance when I booked online, they told me it was mandatory and made me purchase it dispute the fact that I told them I had spoken to my auto insurance company and I had coverage.

I was held up at the store for over an hour because the staff said the computer system wasn’t working correctly. I tried to suggest coming back another time but instead they just said I had to sit there and wait. Turned out that there wasn’t anything wrong with the system and my card was charged fine so the staff needs to know how their computer system works

Not charge for unopened furniture pads - I rented 24 but only opened packaging for 12. They said they had to charge me for all 24 because they left the premises.

The owner of his Location was rude- Had a puppy walking around inside- He was cute but still this is unprofessional. Her attitude was somewhat dismissive - and she even attempted to overcharge me -by incorrectly calculating the hours my Rental was due back -instead of giving me correct information and extending my rental to full day- which I was able to do at no additional charge with a U haul phone rep. the Least pleasant U haul experience I've had in the years I've rented

We could not find the drop box for the key when we used the 24 hour drop off service. We had to call customer service and they did not know where it was either other than to say it was on the side of the bldg, which it was not. We finally found the mail slot on the dark brown garage door next to the glassed in foyer and office area. It was not clearly marked and very difficult to see at night.

I reserved a truck at 7425 E Washington a week prior to Saturday 9/21. I received a call on Thursday to pick up the truck at the Shadeland store. I went to Shadeland store and was told I had to go back to the Washington store. This cost me having two helpers standing around because I was late getting the truck. Also, I pre registered online to save time. I had to give all of the same information again when checking out. I explained I had pre registered and was told they needed to verify everything. What is the point of pre registering. Customer service was terrible at both the Shadeland and Washington stores.

I rented a truck on Saturday, September 21st and I'm not real happy. First, The fuel needle looked full but when I filled it up the needle was a lot farther to the right, a lot farther. I should have taken a picture but like I said it looked full. Then the entire time the transmission was in Tow/Haul and it just ate up the gas. It was just so slow and struggling to go because it was trying to tow or haul something, which I wasn't doing. When I dropped it off I mentioned it and was told every time you put it in drive it automatically goes to Tow/Haul, and there is a button on the gear handle that turns it off. I looked everywhere for something to switch it off but not there. That should be something everyone is told before they take a truck. Lastly, the driver-side outside mirror constantly moved while I was driving. I feel I paid too much to fill it back up because it was constantly in Tow/Haul and it was not really full when I took it. I know nothing will be done about it, I just thought I would let you know.

I'll admit that I always have a little worry renting vehicles. In this case, those worries were blown away. The online ordering and the cell phone registration were both flawless. The staff was helpful and courteous. The vehicle was almost brand new. EVERYTHING was like I was in a U-Haul commercial. Excellent!

I had to get another storage unit because the largest unit you have is too small. I am very disappointed in this, I had to pay for the other unit and for two of your locks at $10 each. Very disappointing.

No issues with the people or store location but this is the second time out of two times that the computer system had issues and our reservation had to be re-entered and checking out issues. Nothing major but I just wouldn't go out of my way and recommend the location.
