No windshield washer fluid in vehicle. Out of alignment and pulled to the right pretty drastically. Door to back of van wasn't fully closed and there was water all over the back of the van at pickup. Disappointed in my experience since this wasn't the location I selected originally. My reservation was moved due to the vehicle needing maintenance. i ordered a 2nd pod. I got mixed answers when i called to see how much stuff you can pack in.i'm glad i got 2,no way one was enough. they run small. Tall and not wide. the video was miss leading, its not that easy ,not everyone has that stuff you shown in your video.when in doubt order 2 pods. When a person makes a reservation and even calls the day before to make sure the truck will be there and your company says it is ready for them to pick it up the next day at the confirmed time of 9am, ACTUALLY have it there for them to get! We had to wait until 10:30 to get it. We drove up from Pittsburgh and needed the whole day to move! We didn't need your employees to be rude and tell us "well we can't call the police to have them bring the truck back on time" and be told "it's like Russian roulette if the truck will be here or not when you make a reservation." Your employees are rude and lazy. They just sat there for the entire 90 minutes we had to wait playing on their phones, talking about what they were seeing on Facebook, and even talking about loving the smell of gas and how they huff it! Then, when the truck finally got there they acted like they were giving us a great service! They never even wiped down the inside UNTIL we said something about covid and asked why weren't they going to clean it! What kind of training do you give your employees especially with covid going going on???? I am telling everyone I know about the poor service your company offers. We will never use your company again and will let everyone we know what your company stands for. Also, while we were waiting for our truck, another customer WITH A RESERVATION TOO came into get their truck and was told their truck wasn't there either and that they'd have to come back tomorrow for one. Double check YOUR OWN trailer hookup. The young man that hooked up my trailer struggled with the chains and improperly attached the emergency break-away brake chain to another safety chain. That renders the break-away chain useless in the case of an accident. That chain MUST be connected DIRECTLY to the towing vehicle.MATTHEW W.

This location was excellent, and Kylie was super nice.. however my original reservation was for 337 W 12th St 16502. I didn't realize that reservation pick up times were exact , so when I got to place at 4:30pm instead of 3pm I was informed by a very stoic woman that my 24hr reservation, that was held with major credit card, was now due back at 9am because I was late and hadn't called so they rented it out to someone else at 9am the next day .There were no more available at this location so I had to go to across town to a different location. I never received a Courtesy call or email to see if I was still planning on picking up Truck. At no point was there an apology. She just simply stated "You didn't pick it up on time. or call." I asked if there was anything they could do and then she informed me that there was one available at E Grandview location if I wanted I could go there and pick it up. *Not customer friendly at all! Isn't a 24hr reservation exactly that! What's the purpose of holding reservation with a credit card!Maria J.

Ordered and got it the same day, within an hour actually, less than 2 miles from where I lived. The trailer worked perfectly for the job. The customer service was great. Only complaint was perhaps the you tube videos, making the return process much more complicated than it actually was.SUSAN B.
Two pieces of furniture got slightly damaged due to the way James Breter Co. packed them. And your team had a hard time knowing delivery status in regarding moving help who was picking them up and delivering/unloading them.Chuck B.

One of the 2 trucks we reserved 6 weeks in advance suddenly wasn't available and we were told we could pick one up from another location but it wouldn't be ready for 4 hours. We had the movers all ready at our home waiting. The 50 dollars you get back is not at all worth the inconvenience. Will never use them again. I'll try a competitorHOBART C.

Improve website interface. I had to use this location because of an issue with the booking website from 11 days prior. The staff I dealt with was extremely helpful, and made an unpleasant situation more than manageable.DONALD C.
My original reservation was at the 1505 Pittsburgh Ave location in Erie, PA. Got there 30 minutes prior to our reservation time and they had no trailer for us. They said the person who had it before us was due at 9am that day and had not brought it back yet (almost 5 hours late). Employees were indifferent to our situation. No one had called or texted us a heads up prior to this situation. We had to ask and persist that they check surrounding area Uhauls to see if they could locate us another trailer, which they finally did with some prodding. Overall not impressed with the help, concern, and thoroughness of the customer service. We then had to drive across town to get a trailer at the East Grandview location. No discounts, no apologies, not even a blink of the eye. As a great wise man once said "You know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them."ROBERT W.

From being charged many times the incorrect amount, to being told whileI hired movers, uhaul did't hire them and there not coming, to NO ONE delivering my box as I paid for, I am done with Uhaul forever. I loved dealing with the (in person) local store, however, online and their call center was a horrible experience. In my opinion, the call center "up charges" you for services you dont need. When I need a truck for 3 days, I dont need it for 7. I needed a truck from PA to Alabama and back. They try to throw you into a one-way that is ((far more)) expensive than just paying the straight .79 a mile charge. Again, in my opinion, they fudge the numbers to their favor on a one-way... I think they manipulate the numbers with the taxes, insurances to their advantage, so its more money in their pocket. They probably do this bec they can get that money back.. They will NOT tell you the exact tax you will have to pay either. If I live in PA, you should be able to tell me EXACTLY what tax I will owe you.... I actually had one of their online associates, tell me if she told me, she could lose her job.. Something funny about that comment that was made to me!!! Made me not trust UHAUL... I also had a male associate at their call center lie to me, telling me I will get a brand new truck bec of the 1600 mile ride. I also didn't like that I could not reserve a month out from my trip. The only helpful person online was April, but even she was constrained to their policies.. The algorithms used to calculate the amount due in their computers tend to favor the company and NOT the consumer.. Erie local store was fantastic. I even had an associate tell me at one of Erie local stores that the call center is always screwing things up for them... I wonder why?? I agreed with him. Erie local stores, 10 stars, online-- minus 20 stars...MARK G.
The lady that was supposed to connect the trailer to my truck only sat the hitch on top of the ball and connected the light plug. I was not even half was home on the interstate in a rain storm and the trailer disconnected from my truck. It scared me to death trying to get pulled over and not cause an accident. I tried to call the site and could get no answer so turned to family to help me so I got home. I have rented through UHAUL several times and never had an experience like this. I was so scared and never should have felt that way. I would like to speak to someone more about this in personAimee F.

The employee handling my rental was rude and condescending, U Haul for all my concerns, and when i complained more and drew issues to their attention, I was told "I only work here this is not my company. Over all a terrible experience and I will never use uhaul again. Apparantly you condone this behavior because it happened at both pick up and delivery.BRUCE E.

The entire experience was dissapointing. I called the National Call Center and rented a 26 ft. truck. I was directed to a location on the West side of Erie near the time of closing. I drove there only to find that they did not have the truck. I was told that the Call Center mistakenly sent me to the wrong location. The correct location where the truck was at was on the other side of town. I barely had enough time to get to the other location before it closed. When I arrived they informed me that they had no appliance dollies to rent me even though it was part of the contract.STEVEN P.
