Location was great but rep service was not the customer care you would hope for. My rep was bother, argumentative and not willing to help. If it was not for the coworker it may have not work at all. From a 15ft needs I end up with an oversized 26 ft truck using much more gas and cost above what I needed. The upset and taking advantage of the situation was not customer focus or good business brand love. I will most likely not use U-Haul unless completely necessary and a last option.

I have rented from this location before and prefer to use it to drop off equipment I use for one-way as well. They are clean and helpful and have a wide variety of equipment to choose from. Also, they are "all Uhaul", not a side business, which can be an advantage. I did wait a few minutes before one of the attendants directed me to pull the trailer around back. He was helpful and checked me back in, checked the pads and let me know when I was done and could leave. Good experience.

Waited by truck to drop off for over 15 minutes. No one came out. Eventually someone called to me to leave the keys in the cab and they'll take care of it. Then they charged me for fuel despite the fact that I had just filled the tank.

I brought the gas up to the 3/8 tank level that it was when I rented it, and they charged me for fuel taking it over 1/4 tank. But in the scheme of things, not worth fighting. I've had bad experiences with UHAUL in the past, and this one was much better. I was even able to return unopened moving supplies (rope) with receipt.

The store manager, Tinessa, is insufferable and very devoid of customer service training and professionalism. I implore upper management to skim through the reviews for this Fayetteville, N.C. Gillespie Street location--they're all reflective of negative experiences with her. My disabled Son had to sit through 20+ minutes of his Mother trying to figure out to capture my I.D. card image, retrieve the front/back images to upload, etc., though I was NOT reserved under the 24/7 Truckshare mode of pickup/return. If the customer has to do all of the work & if she was just going to ENTER the information from my I.D., anyways, why put me through the trouble? This is an official Uhaul site; therefore, they have the appropriate device to take/upload an image of my I.D. to standard, unlike myself. She refused. Social distancing was the excuse...then why is the store open & the front desk being manned? They have gloves. They have masks. They've the ability to protect themselves & also operate as almost normal. What's worse than being given a hard time and having mine wasted? An older gentleman who struggled walking in on his cane was made to go all the way out of doors to his vehicle to retrieve his cellphone to accommodate THEM. Tell me what was so hard about them opposing that gentlemen going out to his car, and they use the device supplied by Uhaul to take an image of his card to save him--the customer--the trouble? Nothing. There was nothing hard about them actually doing the WORK for which they were there to get paid. I am truly disgusted by the entire staff on that Saturday morning, September 5, 2020 between 0920 and 1000. And according to [2] other Uhaul staff, "she's the manager, she can do whatever she wants." No, she cannot. That's a privilege that only an OWNER has; even an owner would never handle business in such a way if they wish to maintain integrity of the Uhaul brand & deliver quality customer care. Please address the issues outlined above. Thank you.

I have dealt with this location on multiple occasions, and have had no issues. Store and location was clean and well organized. However, I did receive a call that they were unable to find the key. I hope it was found as I followed the instructions given by the mobile app and personnel on sight.

This was my 3rd Uhaul rental this summer. No matter what the location, the return is always confusing, and the online return by phone never works properly. This time I followed instructions and waited in the return lane as an employee moved the truck he was cleaning right in front of me. He never returned, and after 15 minutes of waiting I went inside to turn the key in and finally get out of there! This can be improved on, its always an inconvenience.

Agent lied on the lights working and caused me 1 hour to verify every fuse. One of the straps was defective and the chains too short to properly use. I almost lost the car off the trailer and only because I used a chain around the tires, was it saved. Now you give me the run around on replacing the defective tire.

Inform ALL customers that if their phone is an Android you cannot do the self check out and after-hours check-in because the u-haul site requires location verification of your phone and Android phones do not allow that without jumping through a bunch of hoops. I had to call the 800 number after leaving the truck at the drop off location. After dealing with a lack of knowledge and rude customer service rep, I requested to speak to their supervisor. The supervisor handle the issue very professionally and was knowledgable with what was going on and not only took care of the problem but assured me everything would be ok without having to pay a penalty for not being able to check the truck incorrectly after hours. Also.... U-Haul needs to set their site up so when the person renting the vehicle has the proper amount of time to go over the vehicle and trailer being rented to ensure that all previous damage has been reported. Being I'm responsible for any damage that was not noticed or reported at a crazy high damage rate I was going over the truck and trailer in detail adding pictures showing damage. When I finished going over the trailer and moved onto the truck, U-Haul's check out site timed out and would not allow me to complete my check out. Now I had to go inside and get a rep to come out and go over the truck so it was seen before I left. The actual truck and trailer I rented ran great and did their job but U-Haul needs to fix the online check in and check out site to make it easier and worth using to help save time and aggravation.
