I rented my truck for two days and returned it one day early. I put down 100 for deposit. All together I paid $180. But they would not give me any money back. I moved locally and the move was only 3 blocks away. I am upset that I didn't receive my money.

Drove up and was told to leave key on seat and we would get receipt by phone. Would like to have had receipt printed out and handed to me. Finally did receive by phone.


Service was great


When I pulled up the signage said to stay with your equipment, waited approximately 10 minutes for someone to walk up however no did. I walked inside the building and was told to leave the door open and the key in the truck. Not impressed with the service.

When I pulled in, there was a truck under the awning. I parked near the building. When I started walking to the building to turn in the keys, the lady who'd been cleaning the truck told me I needed to park it under the awning. She was very rude about it. She could have motioned for me to park near there but she didn't. She didn't seem to consider that I couldn't have parked there because there was a truck there. None of that matters to me, though. It was her attitude that I did not like. She was very rude. I will not use this location again.

Rented small trailer from Bragg Blvd location and asked for an appliance dolly. They did not have one so the associate called over to Gillespie St to coordinate for us. We drove over a picked up with not issue. I asked if I could drop both trailer and dolly at same location instead of driving across town and was told by associate that they would "transfer" the dolly to the Bragg Blvd location so that I could drop both off together. The very next day I drop trailer at Bragg Blvd and they could not accept the dolly and told me I would have to drive back across town and drop dolly at the Gillespie St. location. I thought this was all worked out the previous day and I did not want to go thru the extra hassle. Associate at Bragg Blvd told me there was nothing they could do and that either I could go to Gillespie St or call 1-800-Go-UHAUL. We already dropped the trailer so how would I drive the dolly over to the other location? I asked if associate could make the transfer and she said no. I asked if the associate could call Gillespie St for me and she said no. I asked if the associate could call 1-800-Gillespie St for me and she said no. Absolutely zero customer service from desk associate at Bragg Blvd. The only thin Gillespie could have done better is transfer the equipment to Bragg Blvd like they promised. The equipment return associate at Bragg Blvd was great and seemed to care, but there was nothing he could do to help us. So now we were stuck in the parking lot at Bragg Blvd trying to figure out what to do next. My question is why was there no one trying to help me? Call 1-800-Go-UHAUL is NOT customer service. We called the number several times over the course of the day before finally speaking with someone who could help. This person had a great idea. That idea was that she would call the Gillespie St office on my behalf and make sure the equipment was transferred which is what I asked the associate at Bragg Blvd to do and she said no. Add to the frustration was the fact that we were only visiting from out of town. Bragg Blvd location could use some training on how to provide customer service! I know this survey is for Gillespie St, but I did not receive one for the Bragg Blvd location so hopefully Gillespie St can share my negative experience with the appropriate audience at Bragg Blvd.


No one was able to assist me with the tow dolly, they connected it to the uhaul and then left. After two hours trying to get one of the ramps to close, the employees blamed my car and said it was preventing it from closing. I used the exact set up prior and had no problems. The employee then decided to spray the ramp with oil and it slid into place without a problem. It would be more customer effective if they could guide us with how to use the equipment and ensure it is in working order. In regards to the uhaul, it smelt like marijuana and I had to deal with it for the entire 9 hour drive.

Checked truck in one hour early with more fuel than when I rented. No other customers in store and I had to wait 45 minutes for an employee to inspect. I had rented from u-haul on Bragg Blvd before. Had better service there. Will go back there next time. Better and friendlier service there.

Worst location ever. Went to rent a igual on the New Year's Day because had to move out of our housing within three day, and this was the only place open. Upon arrival we had to wait for a truck to be returned then after that we had to wait for them to have it cleaned, which all they did was park it next to the building and not the cleaning station. So they informed us that we had to wait an hour so that they can get it cleaned and all they did was clean the driver section and not the back were the storage is located. So we then received a call that the truck was ready, and my husband walked right in to get the keys. When we got home after loading some stuff to my surprised small roaches started popping out of the top edges of the truck. I was horrified, and couldn't believe that they would rent out a truck in that condition. And so I tell my husband, and we really didn't have an option, but to use it since we didn't have another place to go because of New Years, and having to move all of our stuff within just three days. What's worse is that when done with the rental and went to return it a gentleman came out and informed my husband before he even had a chance to go in the store that he had to just open the driver door and leave the keys in the truck and that he didn't have to go in that he would just have to get an email receipt. So I decide to call the store and informed them about the situation of the gentleman telling my husband that and that we didn't want to get over charged after the 24 hours. The lady was very friendly and helpful with that. But now we get the email with and extra charge of $50 for them to have cleaned the truck when in fact the truck was cleaned except for the roaches that were already their. But now we get informed that that's the reason why we are getting charged. I just can't believe that this is happening because if they would have cleaned it right they would have seen the condition the truck was in when it came to the roaches. Not only did they make us wait for an hour and didn't let my husband go in the store upon returning the truck we are now getting charged for something that they had to have fixed before they rented out the truck to us or others. This is unacceptable and I will never go to this location again. The whole hour that we waited their all they did was take smoking breaks and talk.

Get a clear understanding of the fact that internet traffic determines when a message is received. it is not at the whim of a customer or any one else. When it is heavy it retards messages until the traffic route is available. Uhaul in nationwide. The headquarters understands that the network gets extremely busy. This office is hateful, rude and verbally abusive.

The absolute worst service and staff. I have used uhaul faithfully for EVERY move over the past 21 years. This location has tarnished the uhaul reputation. They have done nothing short of commit fraud and falsifying accident reports to justify thievery. I have entered 4 contracts with uhaul in the past 60 days and this experience with uhaul at the Coliseum has been by far the most disappointing experience........I am African American. And this business seems to be owned by an African American woman, how ever the other folks White and Latino showed me more courtesy and respect than her and her staff.. ......Respect goes a long way.And to the tune of my unbelievable charges of over $630.....I have never been talked to or treated in such a manner. I have been in customer service for many years in many different capacities, and they are not doing customer service right. The operation is run like a "Mom and Pop "store run rogue. Funny thing, that's why the old lady on the trolley riding the parking lot told me to watch my money. The first day I dntract , no one seemed to know exact
