I must say, the whole time I had a storage with U-Haul. The staff as well any information needed was Awesome. Never one issue at all, but I'm Grateful to all of it. Cause the care that was given was Unbelievable. Thank you U-Haul!

Lance C | Overall ExperienceOn 4/6, I went there to use my free 1st month rent on a storage unit. I paid $139.95. she said I wouldn't pay until the next month, however they took that charge. 1 week later I and pointed it out, showing my bank statement as proof. The guy ran my card for a 2nd time, then refunded that charge. Then they told me that because I had done the online check-in I was not eligible for the month free. However their employee did my online check-in because my phone wasn't working correctly. The manager said she would get some sort id. Credit de m to get that month free and she works. They did nothing productive. On 5/6 I was charged again. I had to get another unit on 4/24 (that unit was supposed to be an auto draft)which I was charged for as well. On 5/24 I was again at the location and asked to speak with the manager about this and she had "just left" so I had to call the managers supervisor. She said that the manager had given me some sort of credit and that I did get a month free. On 5/25 I got an email from that manager saying I was late paying so I had a late fee. I went and paid it. Every time asking to speak to the manager but she was not there. On 6/6 I was charged again. I moved out of the unit in that day. So basically I was charged every month, I did not get that 1st month free like I was supposed to. On 6/6 I moved out of both units, asked to speak to the manager again, the employee went around the corner and spoke to her but came back and said she was not there. I heard him ask her and her say to tell me she was gone. The entire process was horrible. So many mistakes on their part and lies. Apparently according to the supervisor Lynn, I got my free month. Except my bank account shows that I paid for every month. Even paid the late fee because they did not put the 2nd unit on auto pay. I've called to talk to Lynn's supervisor and have not received any communication yet. I am so disappointed and angry. I was homeless and was staying in a hotel with my disabled child and that hotel has roaches. I can't afford to be paying all this money for their mistakes. I will be needing to get another 2 trucks on 6/8. After that move I'm done with U-Haul. They have been terrible. I will be leaving a Public review, I will also be reporting this to the better business bureau and the attorney general's office. I have tried several times to resolve this issue and gotten nowhere.
