Pick up and customer service when renting the equipment was excellent. HOWEVER returning the equip. was another story. This is the second time in 3 weeks that I have encountered this person. The first time i gave him the benefit of the doubt; maybe a bad day, or got up on the wrong side of the day. The second time, I could see that this was the standard greeting for a customer returning equip. Nasty attitude, did not acknowledge that I was even there. left me waiting on as line for over 10 minutes while I watched him clean and mop out trucks. Totally ridiculous. The last encounter with a rep from a business is the impression that remains, and this was less than stellar. Too bad, he should find a new job if this is not making him happy, or at the very least, a refresher course on customer service.CA R.

Overall this experience was awful. We weren't given one of the dollies we reserved and then we're charged full price for the item $70 worth when it wasn't even given to us and were told we could argue it later- but guess what that charge is still on my card. Also after cancelling our confirmed reservation twice- one of which was day of for the pickup we were then charged for another full day when I had called to request an extension. At the end of the day- I wish we went with movers- this wasn't worth the headache and the â€œguaranteedâ€ reservation is laughable since it clearly wasn't guaranteed twice in a row after they changed it on us. Oh and it was a smaller vehicle- so my boyfriend had to make 2 trips back and forth 3 hours. Awful awful experience- moving is stressful enough and now throw in an unreliable company- customer service was kind and helpful the first time around when calling to extend the reservation- but the supervisor apparently Didn't communicate this and they told us they had to charge us for it anyway. Now I have to waste more time on the phone with customer service again.Christian A.

The external presentation was regular, soo many hits and was not cleaner; when I reported the tier flat before I got to go, my supporter say me "is ok, no problem, but any time the advise in a board was "tier problem"MANUELF S.
Horrible experience. My truck wasn't even parked up when I got it. I don't think anyone looked at it but my nephew spotted a hole in the top. He used to work for uhaul (at that location too) and he thought they had checked the vehicle before giving it to us. The next day I see a $400 charge for the hole THAT WAS THERE WHEN I PICKED IT UP. I don't think anyone checked it before hand and they left me with the bill. Do yourself a favor. Don't come here. Or take photos before and after. It doesn't seem like anyone here takes their job seriously (at least the people I spoke to). I asked for help adjusting a mirror and the guy looked at my nephew and said, "just try harder, make him do it" That guy just sat near a vehicle hanging out and didn't make any attempt to help me whatsoever. I honestly think its due to their incompetence that I was charged. They must have missed the hole. Absolutely terrible. Not only that but I got insurance. The max I'm supposed to be charged for these supposed damages is $150. They are super sneaky. Its absolutely disgusting. This is in my neighborhood and I'm moving temporarily. When I move my stuff back I would rather go to another location then to be ripped off coming here. Please, if anyone experiences the same I encourage you to leave a review. Everything was great from the customer service to the vehicle itself. It drive beautiful. Although,this was not the location I originally reserved from. The Cypress location did NOT leave key's in the lock box for me for the vehicle I ordered, so therefore, I called U-Haul and they sent me to the college point address. Because college point was out of my way, U-Haul gave me a credit for the extra milage I wasn't expecting, which was really nice and the representative that took care of me on the phone was really nice and took care of the situation very professional. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Donielle Vassell who not only understood my issue with the first rental that I was given previously by her colleague Jeffrey Taub. She went beyond what I was hoping to get and for that Ian truly grateful. As for Mr. Jeffrey Taub, his customer service skills are deplorable. I originally asked him for a vehicle that had a backup camera, and rather than listen or even make an effort to obtain one for me, he just choose the first vehicle he could. The van was an older model had a high mileage and no camera. Had the vehicle a camera i would not have minded using it, but like his service the vehicle was in need of an upgrade. I thank Ms. Vassell for her understanding and her initiative in having me obtain a much newer vehicle that had my original request.Carlos G.
