Poor customer service. 3 people behind the counter, no one greeted me. They were too busy having a conversation and werea annoyed when I interrupted them to get my reservation. The guys that were outside with the equipment no greeting. The individual who helped me with the van did not go over anything with me with the exception of checking the vehicle for damage. Why pay for this kind of "service" when you can hire a moving company for a few hundred dollars, who will pack everything, move it and set it up in the new location. You should conduct customer service classes with your employees. Actually monitor them with regular customers without knowing that they're being watched. Unbelievable. Tgese people should be grateful that they actually have jobs.

The worst Uhaul experience ever. Spent double the money due to Uhaul's fault. No fair resolution reached. Will NEVER use again and will tell EVERYONE to avoid Uhaul in the future.

1. Suggest that you keep a printed copy of concise instructions on how to use the particular vehicle, such as how to adjust mirrors, where is the manual brake, how to control the rain scrapers, how to turn on and adjust the dashboard display brightness. Without these instructions, it takes the user time to figure out which is not always successful, therefore can become hazards and causes accidents. Your people drove the van to the spot, asked me to sign some paper, and would not answer any question. Was sullen in the whole process. 2. This is the second time I rented a van from you. The previous time you delivered the vehicle with gas tank full, and was easy to also fill it full when returning. Now you print out the gas level such as 5/8 full, for the customer to figure out how much to fill at return time. Your people at delivery time drew another think line to indicate the actual fuel level, and also made the number on the ruler unreadable, not to say the print itself is rough and coarse. I ended up filling more than needed, which means paying $5 or $10, which uhaul keeps without a problem. But if the level is lower than when I picked up the van, pretty much uhaul wouldn't let me go away with it. The solution wouldn't be too difficult. You make available some equipment for filling gas. For those who return with gas not full, you can then fill it at market price with a small surcharge. So every customer will and encouraged to return with tank full. 3. You should have your rules in calculating your charges on the document you give your customers, or Make it available on your web site in a conspicuous place. Guess the two main factors are the mileage and length of time the vehicle is in the possession of the customer, plus some other fees. With such charges calculation rules transparent, the customer can adjust and control the ultimate amount he would need to pay, avoiding unnecessary cost. With the estimated cost and the final actual cost, and all the information on your print out, I'm still unable to figure out where is the $19.99 that you love to paint on all your vehicles for all these years, and even less what are the breakdowns and their amounts.

All College Point employees we professional EXCEPT the last person I encountered upon returning vehicle. I arrived at 8:05 PM and the return station was still set up I removed my person item from the cab (sunglasses & water bottle) 2 minutes after me another van came into the same area directly behind me. He proceeded to process the second van, not a problem most of the returns take 2 minutes. 10 minutes passed and he still was processing the van behind me. He proceeded to go into the building with the customer and returned in about 5 minutes. The employee said nothing to me as though I wasn't there and began to break down and remove the receiving station. I asked him if he was going to process my return, his abrupt answer was we close at 8pm. I asked why did he take the van that came after me, and he said that that van came earlier and he just returned after getting gas. Why leave me there waiting when he could have told me 15 minutes earlier to just deposit the key since it was after 8 and he was on the Last entry of the day. No consideration and poor attitude makes all the good by the other employees a waste. Poor attitude, and lack of respect to me, the customer stinks. Maybe he doesn't realize that we the customers are who pay his salary by patronizing U Haul. I probably won't hear anything further from your company, in the long run your business suffers. Bill R

The 17 feet truck I reserved was not available at time of pick up. We had to use a 10 feet truck, make two trips instead of one, and pay for the additional mileage. If truck was reserved and I received an email confirming it, why wasn't it ready at time of pick up?

There's nothing to said. Everything was very satisfactory for us.

The van smelled like smoke and I have bad allergies. Maybe they should spray the mats with a cleaner and vacuum them and put an air freshener so it smells clean.

I didn't drop off at this location I dropped off in Long Island City and it was terrible. There was no clear area to park the truck and no one answered the phone. The key instructions on the website as accessed by a mobile device were unclear and we ended up leaving them in the vehicle and got charged $100. Also no one from uhaul responded to my complaint about this. Overall an unsatisfactory experience.

Filled out the online form to expedite check in, but was still asked for most of the information that i had already given.

Van was perfectly decent, but had mud splattered on the sides around the tires (which is why I answered no, but actually not a big deal)

Do not promote the pick up via app. When I booked, I was supposed to pick up at 6am at a different location but a rep called me to tell my the location and time changed. I needed pick up at 6am and I said the site said I could do it by phone but the woman kept discouraging me saying the set up takes a long time and may not work.

There was a mix up with our reservation but the Uhaul staff were very helpful and were able to accommodate us at the last minute. We were very pleased with the service!

Very good experience, although I had some concern when I returned the truck 20 minutes after closing and the staff took the truck anyway but I had no proof.

Couldn't find my reservation even with credit card deposit, Transferred more than 10 times per call. Hanged up on 6 times, Didn't have truck I reserved. Had to get two trucks for my move, Truck A/C stopped working. Reserved a storage unit spoke with manager to confirm and the next day I go and unit was given away. The whole experience was disgusting . Will never use uhaul again.
