The process in the morning to pick up it was so slow there was a huge waiting line, not sure what was happening but they were taking so long, even the I had previously made a reservation and I needed to get to counter apparently because when you make the reservation there's not give you the options to pick up and drop off at the same location at the website therefore we need to get to the counter and it took me one hour to reach to the counter, they need a better customer service personnel they need to speed up the process. Finally I get my cargo van after this long process and find out the van needs an oil change it says on the dashboard and it was on red color it seems it needed pretty soon and I notified them and the guy it said it's fine don't worry ðŸ¤·â€â™‚ï¸ I said well ok and drove out but it seems it's not right to rent a car when is not a 100% my opinion. Everything else it went just fine. That's the reason I'm giving 3 stars âï¸ hopefully it gets better and we can give you a better rating.Angel Q.

Gave me the truck on empty so I returned it how I received it and they charged me 50$ for gas. They wouldn't explain the fees they were charging me. It took me over an hour to obtain my rental, about half an hour waiting on line and over half an hour, where I recvd the wrong set of keys and they had to update and revise my vehicle for.my rental, because they were unable to find the keys. ALSO, Dennis was extremely rude and unhelpful when we were trying to figure out why we recvd the wrong set of keys from the girl at the desk. Upon returning my vehicle, I was mis-charged a fuel charge when I only drove the cargo van 6 miles. The girl at the desk accused me of changing the the fuel tank from 3/8 to 7/16, which doesn't even make sense? Why would I INCREASE the fuel tank level?! Very bad experience overall. Danielle was the only nice & helpful associate. Everyone else seemed disgruntled and unhelpful. I will not be coming back or recommending to any of my friends.Waikit F.

The process to rent a tow dolly took to long.the way Mr taub was physically checking my credit card wasn't appropriate. Had to give him a additional phone number to verify my identity. The vehicle that I was towing did not show in the system, 1976 bmw 2002 series. He told me that he could not follow with the process. The tow dolly pictures that mr TAub sent me over the phone needs to be updated , you can check the pictures I took , tow dolly does not look that new. The app is terrible - I was given a different truck than the one the app told me- the app actually made things take longer than without using it . It asked repeatedly for images of my drivers license. Then i was given keys to the wrong truck and proceeded to take picture of that one. The truck I was given was also parked behind another one I could not get out. It was so incredibly aggravating because I was on such a tight time frame that I lost 49 minutes of valuable time in this terrible process.hans S.
What is the point of offering the option to upload one's driver license on line (which I went through quite a lot of time & effort to scan and upload) and enter one's credit card information when making a reservation? I made my reservation online. I walked into the U-Haul store. I gave my name. They found my reservation. I had my printed reservation email in hand. Then I had to present my drivers license . . . and my credit card . . . and be called on my cell phone AND have my friend called on their cellphone in order to proceed. If I have to go through all this . . . then do NOT offer the option to upload my drivers license as it serves no purpose in terms of expediting the checkout process. Having me scan and upload my driver's license amounted to . . . a waste of my time. Furthermore, all staff and customers in the store were wearing masks . . . all except for one black man, about 5'11", lean and fit: he was not wearing his mask: it was dangling off one ear. I stated this to my checkout young lady and she ignored my comment. The man overheard my comments because I said, in a loud tone, "Why is HE not wearing a mask?" but he continued to do his task and . . . slinked away without affixing his mask. Failure to abide CDC health recommendations puts people at risk. Why should your Customers be subjected to an arrogant, ignorant, worker who refuses to follow the rules? Please advise. Clean yes, but the trucks are shit. First truck had a power steering problem. Second truck (same morning) had an abs light on with brakes grinding metal to metal. Trucks need to be better maintained and serviced. On a lighter note, the staff was extremely kind and courteous.Victor B.

I have been a uhaul customer fir many years, this facility was horrible. Our belongings were destroyed by water damage, mold and mildew destroyed our storage boxes and possessions. It was disgraceful!! The precious valuables were things treasured from years, decades ago and no value could be put on them. We will never get those pictures, diplomas and various other treasures our family saved. Shame on uhaul and their flushing facility and employees. I disappointed to rented U-Haul Van. The day befor I pickup, I came to U-Haul saturday to make reservations that I needed the 15'N Truck Van, same as I had rented before, I sad. But that U-Haul employer he dont answered, he just printed the papers he needed and he give me the copy. Than he serving athers customers. On the ways I go home I repeat to read the paper he gives to me that I realized that I got big citing from that guys, he dont give me the 15'N truck Van as I ask hem, he just put van in the paper. The nex days when I came to pickup the car, I asking again the Van'15 N, but he answered 'you get what in the paper printed.!!* This is actually reason I can't returned the van as shedulled...!
