I had reserved the auto haul trailer a month in advance. Reservation said pick up at specific location on Saturday 9 am. The day before we were ready to leave on our 1300 mile haul we were told they weren't open on Saturday. So they sent me 50 miles to another location, they didn't have one either, 50 more miles to another location. They did give me a free day and a discount, thank you. Although my original rental date was not supposed to be until July the 30th, the Manager personally took my order, had one of her associates go out on the lot and put a new tire on a trailer she had on the lot and had me ready to go in a matter of minutes. Made reservation online day before. It said someone would call by 7:00 PM. Later, received a text saying someone would call. Nobody ever called. Went to pick up trailer only to find that uhaul had moved pickup location. Fortunately, Rose at the Ft. Smith store got it taken care of and made it a positive experience. This is 2nd time Rose has helped me with a rental and she is awesome. All about taking care of the customer and very knowledgeable about her job. The staff was real nice and polite and everything went good. The pickup truck I rented only had 1/16 of gas in it and the windshield and the inside cabin was filthy. There was this wet dog smell inside the cab. But, the truck run beautifully good strong cold air conditioning. I would rent it again.David K.

I picked up my car trailer and it was not inspected - drove to Florida with it (it was cheaper to take it there and back then to rent one there) I went to load the car and 1 belt was so frayed I could not use it, so I had to take the car off, take to a Uhaul location 7 miles away and had to have them replace it. and go back get load the car and notice a tire was flat so I stop back at the uhaul place again the tire was 15 pound low. I'm a 60 lady that can only drive the trailer straight - no way did I could back it up.RICHARD R.

Their was bird crab all over window and hood of vehicle I rented. On the internet it shows $19.99 plus .69 cents per mile. I was billed .99 cents a mile. The person that helped me had no personality.BRYAN P.

Truck was filthy...dried coffee spilled all over the dash and console. Someone's dirty face mask left in the cup holder. Disgusting...had to detail myself before taking off on a long road trip. Service engine light on from the start...sure doesn't give you peace of mind.Amy S.

The corporate customer service is terrible. They would charge me a while new rental if I just left the lot and thought the van was too big. Would they rather me try to drive and wreck? I told them I couldn't make it down my road. They also couldn't transfer me to my branch for some reason. In store was great though.Patrick B.

Two issues that need to be addressed are, your computer system has too many glitches and needs to have IT look into it. Second, the bathroom facility in the back building needs to have access or fixed or whatever, we need that sometimes as customers. I would have said excellent If they would have fixed my lock and they said they would fix it when they moved me to this storage unit from the storage unit I had originally rented which was perfect for me, The whole time that I was in this new unit my big lock did not work. Had to have my boyfriend come and change out the small lock so it would lock up, never did have the big lock fixed, they kept saying they would fix it and they didn’t. I went to yours storage facility 2 weeks after renting a unit. And man that was running the place called me a homeless old woman and said that he had seen me camped out on the side of his building two weeks earlier. He treated me badly I hope he is reprimanded maybe you can rip some of his stripes and pay bring him back down to Earth where he needs to be. I was never so blessed to be sent to that area of drop off. My whole trip had been a nightmare. If it weren't for the services from a corporate U-Haul dealership I wouldn't be there. You have top-notch gentleman name Jason who went above and beyond and well over expectations of services. He made app for the mistreatment of a unauthorized dealership that I picked my merchandise up from. And I've been renting from U-Haul for centuries. If the lady that took my reservation hadn't told me of this storage unit being available to me upon my arrival I would never known. She was the most awesome little girl I wished I had her name. Upon my arrival to drop off my truck to service was above Beyond anyone's expectations. Jason only made my mind up that I was at a real dealership of U-Haul and not some runoff. And made arrangements for me to get my truck and move my stuff within the next week I've my relocation. Jason should be commended as well as his staff. They are truly U-Haul Representatives. Jason again I can't express enough how much the job means to him he takes it very serious. And was the only reason I did leave my stuff at the dealership and we'll rent another truck can move on to my home now. I will be trying to find out how to get to your corporate reviews my experience. I want a c e o to see my comments. I've rented U-Haul for centuries under the same phone number. Wouldn't think to go anywhere else. But Jason saved your representation of U-Haul. If I were an Undercover Boss I would go in there and I would get him anything that man needed. I can't express enough of how wonderful his service was and how much he corrected and reassured me I wasn't wrong U-Haul is number one and is going to be number one as long as it's a corporate facility. As I stated I do want to go to your site for my final review of picking up my truck and having to drive from Florida at 55 and taking 3 days to get here. Thank God there was storage when I got here. Originally all my information was changed over to a guys name when I logged into my online acct. My lock was cut off in error & I wasn’t notified until we tried accessing the storage & seen there was a combination lock on there instead of the original lock. When it rented the storage unit in asked them guy I was dealing with if the unit in was getting was big enough to put my jet ski in which is 14 ft long he said oh yes it is big enough so I rented it when he took me to the unit he failed to tell me at was inside around a small corner!? I was passed he lied to rent a unit and I had no choice at the time I needed the unit i was limited on time. In storage facility bathroom was messed up both outside and interior bathroom usually didn't have tolet paper or paper towel often. Interior bathroom of storage unit facility was sink was broken busted hanging loose. Place was trashy and dirty and smelled like urine a lot. Doors to facility anyone can walk in not that secure only thing was secure was using ID badge or pin code for specific wrenching unit from alarm going off. I would only recommend this storage location to a friend if they were comfortable with the restricted hours. I am only here because there was nothing else available. I am also not comfortable with all the information that Uhaul required to rent the storage room. I feel very concerned that Uhaul is going to sell all the information and put me in a vulnerable situation. Spencer was Amazing and VERY accommodating. The Call center messed up our Reservation. Told me I was getting a larger climate control unit. When we arrived with movers in tow, we didn't have what was told. Spencer did ALL he could to accommodate with what was available. He cleaned our outside unit as there was a few things in there.. Trying to contact anyone by phone is impossible. The disconnect between corporate and local is frustrating. I had repeated arguments with rude management over agreements regarding payment dates. I don’t remember his name, but his face mask he wore was Skyrim themed and he said he’s been there a couple years. He was so awesome every time I came by. He was super friendly and personable and really went above and beyond the call of duty with helping me and my fam. He was always willing to help. Super awesome dude, to the point where I’d totally want my family to go out to dinner with him and his family lol (in a non cringey/creepy way yikes). There was one other man, with a sparse beard, who didn’t seem to do much of anything besides sit there and watch the other employees work, even when there was a line of people.
