Paul M.1 problem - I was going to be charged for the extra day and miles granted to me because my reservation in Gallup was not going to work since no vehicles were turned in there, but it was later explained and I was not charged for the "free" day and "extra" miles that were granted to me since I had to drive 70 extra miles each way to pick up the truck and trailer. 1 compliment - I didn't know how to use the straps to hold down my jeep on the trailer or know about a chain to hold it down also, so I was kindly shown and helped by an employee and I was ready to go. He didn't have to do so, but knowing I was unfamiliar with the equipment he went ahead and helped me! Thank you! 1 suggestion - rather than telling a customer to read the directions and rules in the pamphlet, tell them to check the straps holding the front tires of their jeep or car every day of driving as they will often loosen. Mine did until one was completely off and I didn't know how to get it back on. A man at a rest area ended up helping me and I made the trip the rest of the way by checking each morning before hitting the road to make sure they were tight and secure!

Aretta B.I had to call roadside assistance for a flat on the trailer Auto transport I rented. The wait time for the repair was close to three hours. Would have been nice if the local haul person could have come from 5 minutes away instead of 65 miles away.

Jeramiah W.In my past years of using U-Haul, I've never had a truck that wasn't fully gassed. They told me the truck was at a 1/4 tank....I had to spend $110 to fill it up. I explained to the service attendant that it's a lot harder returning the truck to a specific gauge amount than returning it full...how ridiculous!! So when I returned the truck in Nebraska, of course there was more fuel (and my money) invested in the rental than planned. As usual, big money making corporations are greedy and forget about the consumer except when you want to fill your own pockets with our $$$$. The CEO probably won't read the consumers reviews but you asked for my opinion and now you have it.
Lee H.The trailer I reserved was rented out before I got there. I was given a car hauling trailer and had to buy ply wood to lay down on top of it so I could haul my stuff. A $40 rental turned into a $150 rental when all said and done. Worthlessssssss. Could not believe it. Never use u haul again unless I'm dire need.
