I booked a one way truck pickup in St. Louis with a dropoff in the Chicago suburbs. I received a call from a salesperson to coordinate this, and was told I was going to get 1 month of free storage. I never received an email confirming the storage, just a text message. While trying to access my reservation for all 3 things, the people at the facilities had no information about my reservation. The pickup in St. Louis had been moved to another location without notifying me. I called the morning of the storage unit and drop off to confirm, yet when we got there they had no clue about our reservation. I was extremely unhappy with the fact that the Uhaul system seems to not be accessible to all employees and that the reservation I spent time making and also double checking was still not booked properly.Jennifer S.

I was charged for gas and I had put gas back. Then have to now wait 5 to 7 days to credit back to my card. I asked for a manager I also chose to check in with a clerk at location. Which the representative told me I could have truck for same price at 24 hours. I brung the truck back earlier after the store closed did what representative told me to do and manager said still its big signs and all I need to do is read it but why would I read signs and it's dark. I followed instructions of clerk I explained to the manager her treatment wasn't nice either she could have handled it better. She jumped in while I was talking to other clerk and gave attitude and gave off rude.Luquissia G.
My order was placed online, but errored when trying complete. Found my credit card was charged three times for moving help, so my UBox and Moving help order went through. Cancelled two orders. Found out the UBox order didn't happen, only the Moving Help order the day before. I was charged $900 more even after supplying a snipit image of the lower price in the quote. I spoke with and emailed Justin Agostini for my Action case. He was going to refund me the amount, but I added a sixth UBox the day of. He called back and said he changed his mind. UHaul put me in a bad predicament right before moving, Justin lied over the next 10 days and kept delaying, my credit card was charged and he then said he wouldn't honor my price like he said he would for the UHaul system error. Another person in CA was going to address it twice. No response. I'm sure Hanover Park is great. I'll never use UHaul again and will share my terrible experience with others. Catherine is a top notch manager for the branch. Knows her stuff and is kind, calm and makes the experience great. I've rented a heavy duty utility trailer here probably 20 times this year. The only thing that's slows things down are other costumers that don't use the online options and don't take advantage of the UHAUL way. Also, there should be a preferred costumer programâ€¦ something for real repeat costumers like myself. I met a new hire or two this month I believe and we're great.Jonathan P.

I rent several times a year, often from this location. In the past, it has always been a great experience. I'm very disappointed with this rental. Set up the reservation to pickup through the app @07:30 in the morning. Verified the reservation the night before online. I showed up @07:20, opened up the app and couldn't pick up the truck because it had been changed to a In Person pickup without any communication with me and the location did not open until 09:00. I had plans and people in place. I understand things happen and maybe for some reason the reservation had to be changed; however the total lack of communication via phone, text or email was like a big 'ol middle finger to me. A total disregard for the Customer. Then to top it off, a couple hours after I had picked up the truck once the facility opened, I got a call from the facility reminding me about my reservation and asking if I was going to pick it up? Very disappointed with this experience at this location. This was not what I have experienced before.James S.
Aaron was great, he's always so personable and professional. However there was another guy there when I dropped off my truck that was belligerent and rude, kept yelling out â€œhey broâ€¦â€ â€œhey broâ€¦â€ I parked the trailer in the designated location - perfectly I might add, and this guy was incoherently yelling across the parking lot about something, not a great example of a Uhaul employee and he shouldn't be there if â€œhey broâ€ is how he addresses customers.YANCEE H.

First and foremost, the pick up location was changed the day before. I wanted to pick up in Naperville, but I was sent to Hanover Park. This was an additional 12 miles away! Yes, I was given extra miles to compensate but no additional money for the extra 2 gallons of fuel I burned at 3.99 a gallon. Not fair for renter to have to pay for addition fuel because UHaul didn't get the equipment in position. I made the reservation 3 days in advance.steven P.
If reservation location does not have the equipment that was reserved it would be nice to be notified. When preparing to move out of state an hour detour is a lot. Manager at this location was not helpful when my card was charged twice. Currently disputing this my bankLeslie S.
