I reserved one about 3 1/2 miles from my house at trax tire when it came time to pick it up they told me I couldn't pick it up there I had to go all the way down to the Broadway location which is about 10 miles one way and 10 miles back that's my biggest gripe about U-Haul To be able to get a trailer closer to home I could've drove 2 1/2 miles to get one but no one had one in stock I could have drove 3 1/2 miles to another place and they didn't have one just need more stockMichael M.

My pickup was changed to Wiggins, MS by Uhaul. Upon driving 30 extra miles to pick up my trailer, this location had 1 truck and 1 trailer( with things still inside) plus it was deserted! Called 800 number, on hold for 10 mins, drove 30 miles BACK to Hattiesburg and this location happen to have an early return so we finally got my rental. i was very upset with wasting over an hour of my time, not to mention gas! The location in Wiggins, MS does not exist and is a poor representation of your company!RENAE E.

This location is conveniently located and always has a large selection of vehicles. Unfortunately they have the worst service. I've never been able to get in and out in a timely manner. Despite signing up for mobile pickup up, I spent over 30 minutes inside waiting to be handed a key.Casey J.

I reserved a truck and found out that it wasn't available at 7am on the day I was supposed to pick it up.. The lady working there helped as much as she could and was very helpful. She fund a truck I could use but it was a 26 foot and I ended up paying a ton for gas. I paid for a dolly and they didn't have oneâ€¦â€¦ The truck shakes when you get to 60mph and the driver side door whistles wind super loud.GEOFFREY J.

I reserved a trailer online at a location. When I went to pick up the trailer I was told they didn't have it. Then had to drive 25min. To another location to get the trailer. When I went to return the trailer I went to the location I made the reservation at online, but was told it would cost me $200 extra to return it there. I tried calling and speaking with a manager and was very rudely told I had to take the trailer back to where I picked it up from. I explained I originally rented online from the location I was wanting to drop off. The manager told me I agreed to pick up from a different location and had to bring it back there. I asked why I can't drop the trailer off at the location where I was. She told me I could, but would be charged $200. This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. Someone could have called me to let me know where I needed to pick up the trailer since it wasn't at the location I reserved. I should also be able to return the trailer to the closest uhaul to me without being charged extra for doing so. It was in the same city, just opposite ends. Can't yall move the equipment around to provide better quality service to customers?DENNIS B.

The staff can be a little more friendlier. I understand it's overwhelming but it shouldn't be written on your face. The day shift equipment guy was awesome . Both guys when we return the trailer was rude especially the guy on the inside. He was extremely rude to every customer he dealt with even if they were asking a simple question. Ms. Hayes is very rude and treated me as if I was at fault for coming to their location. I had reserved a trailer for August 31 in early August. I requisition the Broadway Drive location. In all my confirmation emails and pre-registration, there was no mention that my pick-up location had changed. My experience with Uhaul was pretty much terrible, the only location that was decent was the Eubank location in Albuquerque.At the Hattiesburg location is was on hold for 15 minutes twice with me hanging up each time. I went to the location but the manager would not even talk to me because "I had not paid:, I went back the next day and tried to show her my paid copy but she would not even look at my paper. When I made the reservation, I did not have a drop off location at that time. When I picked up the trailer I asked to input a drop off location but I was told that I could drop it off anywhere, which was not my preference. So my intent was to drop it off at the location where I intended on U-Haul to add the drop off point. The preferred location would not except the trailer there due to their space limitations. So I ended up going all the way out on Airline Highway. This was about an additional 45 minutes of my time. So my recommendation is, if you are able to let a customer know that space is limited at a drop off location, that would help them better prepare for a different location.DAVID R.

Uhaul was old and despite asking for newer one that was there was told had to use this one. Roof leaked and ruined our wood furniture and all our beds. Took it back immediately and was told I should have paid for insurance.Christopher S.
The utility dolly I rented was not in the truck so I had to go all the back to the store to get it. Also $300 to rent a truck for 12 hours is absolutely ridiculous. Moving is already expensive enough but the rate that U-Haul (and other moving truck rentals) charge takes the cake!Christina W.

Asked for a size that was big enough to fit a queen bed, given too small of a trailer and had to exchange, then had to exchange again due to the trailer given to me had a bent tongue, was told I would get my deposit back and still haven't seen it. I've used uhaul multiple times personally and helped other people with them, after this experience I will never use uhaul again. ALSO when I had to exchange my first rental, they switched the destination from one way (to Starkville) to a local rental. So when I arrived in Starkville I almost had to pay someone either to take it back to Hattiesburg or pay the significant difference. I will say the gentleman that helped me in Hattiesburg was great and nice. He was trying to do everything on his own and I firmly believe none of this is directly his fault. Again, due to this experience I will no longer be using uhaul for anything.REMINGTON L.

The regional scheduling model does not work if the home area does not answer. I tried to reschedule drop off in the area I traveled to but I was unable to get in contact with my home region. After 1.5 hours being re-transferred over and over I gave up and drove the trailer home empty. Very disappointed in that part of your services. Nonetheless, the drop off location is highly recommended if they are the servicing group. Very well managed.KENT J.

The CSR at the Broadway location in Hattiesburg, MS. was great! However the rest of my experience can be summed up as a NIGHTMARE. I reserved a 26 feet truck and a 10 x 40 x 10 storage unit with great confidence as I received my confirmation emails. But in reality, the truck reservation was changed to a different location, reconfirmed by email with a 7:30 a.m. pick up time even though the store did not open til 10:00 a.m. I had to drive 20 miles further to a location in Moselle, MS and wait for them to open. After loading the truck and going to my storage reservation at 1303 7th St., Hattiesburg, MS., I was informed that my reservation with a confirmed email was completely deleted from the U-Haul computer system. I was stuck with a gas guzzling truck with all of my possessions inside of it and no place to store my belongings. I was told that U-Haul was sorry and there was nothing else they could do. The CSR lady at Broadway became my hero by finding storage space, but I would have to rate my overall experience with U-Haul as a COMPLETE FAILURE!!!Robert J. | First Impressions
