The customer servicemen personality was ok, but the customer service it self was VERY VERY POOR!!! They were not have any attitudes but the service was inexcusable and poor service! They were back up that morning ,so I decided to use the app which i had no knowledge of) but when I needed help with it, I was brushes off to call customer service on the phone when i could've been help right there in the store from the beginning or after they finished with a customer! It was the SAME WAY RETURNING THE TRUCK!!! I thought i was helping them out by using the app since they had a few people waiting!, i got there 20 mins before it was time for me to pick up my reservation but with all the trouble with app and etc I didnt leave with the truck unitl 940 and my reservation was at 9! I'm very disappointed! I have used this location over 8x, but never again!Valencia H.
Require all your personnel to be more helpful to the customer. "Henry" at this Broadway Street Hattiesburg location was totally un-helpful on 01 June 2021 at check-in. However, for another rental of your equipment a week earlier, another female personnel at this same location was extremely helpful -- a pleasure to do business with. "Henry" at this location on 01 June 2021 at check-in, should be fired. I doubt that he can ever be trained to be a good helpful employee. He was terrible to do business with.JOHN W.

When you reserve a truck, as we did at the location on Airline, you expect it to be there. The reservation email said a rep would call by 6PM, on the evening before pick up. No one called, but I called and did change the time and drop off location. I did tell the rep I didn't receive a call. The rep said she was from another location, could change my info but was not able to assist with anything else. She was the second rep I talked to after a 25 minute hold. Never received a call. Went to pick up the truck, and was told the reservation wasn't completed. I said I never received a call, and he said that location wasn't allowing one way rentals anyway- only local. So why my reservation was even allowed ? Finally found a truck 200 miles away at my destination, and decided to get it. Laborers had already been hired and were waiting to move me!! Half way into the trip, a Uhaul rep called and said he had a truck for me 40 miles North from my original pick up site. So we change course and go there. Then, when we got there we waited another 25minutes on hold, just to find out that the truck was damaged and they were not going to rent it out. Now we were still over 200 miles from the other truck!! We decided to look at the â€œdamaged truckâ€. The damage was a water leak, and as it was a sunny weekend and the truck was dry, we were able to negotiate with the dealer and get the truck anyway. So now five hours later we are finally able to start the move. Communication- the lack of it is the cause of all my issues. The scheduler should have called me by six on the evening before, not two hours after my pick up time the next day. If the schedulers are regional, then Uhaul should offer more assistance to their schedulers during times of peak usage. Thanks to Mr Honores the day was saved. Beware if you use Uhaul, and go to a dealer for reservations, the reps you deal with over the phone do not assist, they divert your calls and are not helpful.Vickie B.

Drop-off was easy. The staff inside the building were friendly and helpful. The staff outside, however, were clueless about the Truck Share process and insisted that I drop the truck off per normal return process rather than using my phone and the app as I was instructed.KYLE S.

I had two issues. One when I ordered the 10-foot truck I told them I needed furniture pads and a dolly. When I picked it up, the manager said the 10-foot didn't have a ramp. I asked for a bigger truck and they said no. They had no furniture blankets and called another Uhaul store five miles away and they said they had two bags of blankets. So we asked them hold them and as soon as I got the truck I went over to get them. I went directly to the store; however, when I got there they told me they sold them to another customer. It cost me to meet The moving helpers by 30 minutes . They did rebate me for the mileage to get the blankets. Over all it soured my experience with Uhaul. Other wise the customer service was good by not enthusiastic!RICHARD G.
The man that checked the trailer in was very thorough. He checked the lights and tire when returned. Never have I had them do that before. Very friendly also.BRENT D.
I stopped in before to reserve a trailer and made a reservation so i would not have to waste time.When I went to pick up trailer a young man said no problem lets hook it up well, he had no clue and began using the computer to get me going that took 20-25 minutes, then this lady who works for uhaul came in to help this man a additional 15-20 minutes were wasted, finally hooking up the trailer took another 10 minutes all toll I spent 50minutes to rent a 14.95 trailer. I get 50,000 dollar cars at enterprise in 5minutes or less. This made me late I missed my scheduled meeting and lost my reason and help to travel over 100 miles to pick up something. When I returned another man met me outside and explained how my rent was screwed up and was set up with a 4hrs rental not the two days I reserved it for . luckily the older man was nice and explained the problem and took care of it. I will only deal with the older man if I have to rent again. I lost time and opportunity because the first man was not trained properly.
