Communication: at first there was some confusion on whether or not the site could handle this request. The first person I talk to said that they didn’t do hitches but then ‘Matt followed up stating they did. He was calling to confirm the appointment. After that there was some back-and-forth on time which I played a part in. I would suggest that while trying to meet the customers need u-Haul needs to be a little bit more directing and help the customer make a decision. I was still unclear on whether or not I was going to be able to get the hitch installed until the day of when Matt called to confirm. That said after the confusion was cleared up I would highly recommend this site for hitch installation. Matt and Mailik were excellent. I will definitely use this site again

I arrived at 2:55 PM on the 4th for the contracted-for 3:00 PM drop-off and found there was a 'drop-off' lane where I was to wait for assistance. 6 minutes later, at 3:01 PM a UHaul employee holding a handheld unit arrived and asked me to drive the trailer to the rear of the building. After unhooking the trailer, he said I owed $33. When I asked him "for what" he looked at the handheld and told me he "didn't know and would have to call a supervisor." When the supervisor didn't reply to repeated calls, I showed him my paperwork showing the trailer was due to be returned by 3:00 PM and he said "These handhelds are always giving us trouble. I will get with the supervisor and send you an e-mail in a couple of hours that will confirm you owe nothing and that the trailer was returned on-time and with no issues." A DAY later, on the 5th, I received an e-mail with a bill attached saying I owed $33 for an extra day and an extra day's insurance. FOUR calls to UHaul Customer Service later, after receiving ANOTHER e-mail in the past hour saying I now owed $63 - including a $30 late-payment fee and a threat to turn the bill over to a collections agency if I didn't pay it promptly, it appears - I'll believe it when I don't get another 'nastygram-type' e-mail - that UHaul has finally resolved the total mess with what should have been my simple rental. My recommendation: Your 'automated' system needs to be modified to coordinate in real-time with what your employees are entering in your system, and they should be much better trained to deal with customers.

The person connecting the trailer connected in a way that the trailer was not level. I had to connect another receiver to level the trailer. Recommend you train the people to connect the trailer so its level, as the first speed bump i went over bottomed out on the trailer hitch. This was not a safe connection.

I called in uhaul to make the change on the cargo trailer was charged the rep said they made the update in the system. they cargo trailer was dropped up 5th day. they did not update there system and charged me 1 extra day of rental. this makes me not to rent from uhaul any more.

We faced issues with locking the door . Could not move the things as the door is not coming down for locking, called road side assistance and waited for 1.5 hrs , it is almost mid night and road assistance sailed there is not one to support Better To return rerun the call As it is .i think this is my bad time . Experience is not good this time.

Express check in app is a disaster. Waited for over 15 minutes for acknowledgement of my message to a representative, which I never received. Reps on site ended up going through the checkout process from the start. Not express.

I called to inform Uhaul we were a little late. I was told there would not be an extra charge. I was charged for 2 days, now I've been on the phone for too long to resolve their mistake.

I rented a rental truck for 2 hours at a rate of $19.95. Upon return they had charged me $90 for the truck and over 170 miles which charged my card $140. The truck was brand new, 160 miles on the odometer and I had returned it with 171. Called customer support and they only said that someone else would be in touch with me to offer me my refund. I had to explain to them over the phone that 170 miles in 2 hours meant I would've had to been driving nonstop at 85mph and that they incorrectly logged the miles.

Waited 15 minutes to drop off trailer. Attendant was VERY slow. Was helping another customer. Process is EXTREMELY SLOW.

They checked the vehicle when I'm there and they said everything good. Later they'll call back and tell we're charging you more because you made this and that. They won't send me photos and anything regarding what they charge. I know I returned the vehicle in the same state as I took it. But It's really bad on UHAUL doing this. This is my 5th rental with UHAUL and I'll not recommend it to any friend too.

During my move, I also stored items at Publlc Storage/Tysons and there is no comparison between them. This Uhaul facility is clean, well lit, carpeted, & has 100% AC & steel partitions-not drywall!

Our car was stored at your facility and the battery went dead, the staff first helped try to jumpstart the car, and then drove me to a nearby store to buy a new battery and helped install it. Great!

15 foot truck does not hold two bedroom apartment as advertised. Furniture protectors I rented were wet and dirty. Storage space is clean and adequate.
