Booking online was easy however I was scheduled to go to a location close to my home, when I received a 2nd notice from a different location for my rental. I went was contacted later in the day from the first rental location about picking up the van. They were surprised I had been sent to a different location and not notified.

Not overcharge them for something that is not their fault. As stated in the email I sent customer service. I rented the truck for 2 days. Contract said to return by 9am Sunday. I was there prior to 9. Your worker was having trouble opening the doors and with working the computer. Told me and another woman dropping off to leave the keys and he would email a receipt after he got the computer working and the trucks checked in. According to the emailed receipt this did not happen til about 10:30. So I guess your system thought I was late returning the truck and charged me for an extra day rental. Please refund so I don't have to call American Express and tell them to refute the charges.

I opted to do the self serve pickup at 7PM to pick up a 20’ truck. I got to the location and started to do the check-in process, but it said it was for a 26’ truck, which unfortunately would not fit because it’s too large. I’ll be honest I was pretty upset. However, a quick call to the General Manager (Matthew) and he referred me to his next associate, Richard (since Matthew was out of town). Richard came by within 30 minutes and sorted everything out, got me the keys for the truck I needed. What could have been unpleasant actually was a great experience of awesome customer service. I applaud Richard for coming out and saving me, especially when it was late on a Friday night. I’ll definitely be using this U Haul facility again.

I arrived at 8:40am on 7/29/18 to mobile check-out my rental truck, but the website said I did not have a truck assigned to my reservation, so I called the number listed. I definitely woke up whoever the guy was and had to wait while he found a computer to tell me the truck was returned after hours the night before, so it was unable to be set-up as a mobile check-out, so I had to wait until 9am to get the key. There was an employee outside checking the trucks and I asked if he could help me, but he said no the store would open soon. The store did not open until 9:10am, and someone else was waiting right at the door, so they got to go first, even though I was there before this customer. So I had to wait even longer to be helped, when I told the employee outside that I needed to get my truck and get back to Reston by 10am. No sense of urgency when I was clearly in distress. The employees were not very professional. Will not be booking from this location again.

Only recommendation would be to make sure staff is aware of the drop down mechanism on transport to allow doors to open. I had to climb out of my car window once car was on transport. Other than that, good, timely service. Thank you.

The after-hours drop off process is ok, but could use to be streamlined a bit. First time using it and it was a bit of a pain after moving tons of heavy crap up stairs then getting there near midnight. Good premise but could use a bit more polish to be easy... Thank you for the reminder on the key drop though, otherwise would never have used it at all.

This was the second time I rented a vehicle from this location and on both occasions I rented extra materials and each time I did not receive the items. I asked for a furniture dolly that was not put in the truck. It made my move harder.

Be more attentive to how the contract is drawn up. I rented a truck to move my son and is now trying to figure out how my name is being billed for his storage rental using his credit card and my brother-law address. ???
