My only issue which is no one's fault because they don't know of the issue is that when it started to rain the rain water poured in through the seat belt housing behind the drivers seat. ERROL BThe only issue I have is that there needs to be a better system in place between the online rental and the physical location. The last 3 trailers I’ve rented there have been issues with the system not relaying details to the store and then the store not being able to make those things happen. For example the last trailer I rented from chicopee. I got a call the next day saying chicopee didn’t have one and I had to pick up in Holyoke. I stated that was fine as long as I could drop off in chicopee when done since it would be late at night. Person on phone said no problem and they would change it on the rental. I pick up in Holyoke, ask about the drop off, and they told me I had to bring it back to Holyoke that was the only option.

U-Haul standards for cleanliness far exceeded my other experience. The indoor garage access provided shelter while unloading/loading my car… rain or shine! I knew my belongings would be safe inside the temperature controlled environment, as well as being a comfortable work space… no matter what the season! I received quick and courteous assistance by several of the workers when my lock failed to open, and Marty (General Manager) was able to remedy the problem with very little delay and to my complete satisfaction. I went to my storage unit to bring my personal belongings and i saw several large cockroaches in the unit and on the hall floors. There are small black boxes for pest control in every unit but it does not control the problem. I was afraid to place my belongings in the unit since I knew when I moved my boxes, I would probably bring them with me inadvertently to my new home. Other than that the facility was well organized. The staff is awesome, especially Emily.

Having tried to open them at 10:01PM, I mow know this to be the case. I would appreciate a call back from the general manager and hope there can be a resolution for wasted time and poor communication.

Idarmi R | First ImpressionsWhen booking/ reserving my storage unit over the phone, I was never told that my unit was going to be an upper unit. This was a complete surprise to me when I arrived at the facility, as I was told over the phone that this unit was accessible. It is anything but. There were no lifts whatsoever to bring my belongings up to the upper unit, and the stairs were a complete safety hazard. Not only do they ROLL, but they have no safety locking mechanism. At one point, the stairs rolled back while my boyfriend and I were lifting a heavy piece of furniture, and I was terrified for his and my well-being, thankfully we caught ourselves, but we could’ve been seriously injured if not worse if we had fallen or the furniture fallen on top of us. This was an extremely dangerous and physically painful experience, especially for me because I have a sprained ankle, and I also have chronic back and hip injuries. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted in the lack of accessibility for these upper units. Fix this.
