Person who came out to check the truck in found a candy wrapper (not mine) & instead of putting in the garbage just threw it out of the truck to blow away. Also I was required to bring the truck back with 5/8 of a tank & the line was def over 1/2 (4/8) & he said if I didn't want to incur a $17.00 charge that I would have to take the truck back out & fill it. Sorry but it was definitely very near to the 5/8. I won't be using this location to drop off again & telling everyone that I know not toPhilip D.

the tank as 7/8ths filled. how am I supposed to fill it to that? I returned a full tank. the passenger side mirror was useless as it flopped all around. fortunately, as i had everything packed, my neighbor gave me an allen wrench to tighten it. finally, it took a half hour to get the truck. your clerk took forever. bad all around service and a rip-off.Paul M.

We used 2 U-store-it containers, arrived on time, perfect size and great price. The New Bedford store was great. A minor glitch was pick up date, but Adam and his crew changed on the fly and saved the day. Kudos I do recommend having two phone numbers from the customer for the pick up date and time verification. I would recommend U-Haul in a heart beat.George H.

Don't rent from these people. They are always rude, never answer the phone and really don't care about customers. Pretty much the main game in town. U-Haul is just as much to blame. I will definitely go with Penske, Budget, Enterprise, Home Depot, etc. Too many options to bother putting up with BS/crap service from U-Haul "OR" U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hyannis. I own & operate my own business. Customer service (a least being helpful and friendly) is important. This organization doesn't get it.Walter S.

The Uhaul phone service for the 800 number is the worst of any company in America. The wait time is a minimum of 30 minutes. I'm hopiing I won't have a breakdown on the road, because that wait would be maddening. My guess is that Uhaul probably loses a lot of rentals due to this long, long wait time. The location was efficient in getting my vehicle to me hHowever I really didn't want to touch anything once I got in it because it was so filthy. With Covid times, I expected the interior to be at least wipe down and sanitized. It was covered in dirt, food and coffee spills. I rented a pickup to tow a trailer and the connection on the pickup to plug the lights in was broken. I exchanged the vehicle the next morning after putting a half tank of gas in it getting ready for the trip. It was all supposed to be discussed when I returned. NopeMichael R.

Not give a truck out that has a faulty manifold which resulted in carbon monoxide in the cab. Had to drive with windows open in cold January weather. No offer of compensation when truck was returned. Terrible!Thomas C.
I received the equipment in poor condition. The ratchets for the tires were rusted and not lubricated. The installation of the trailer on my truck found that they had installed the wiring around the braking mechanism. This caused my trucks electrical system to short out from the pinching of The Wire. When I sought out a dealership along my route, it was an old man and he couldn't help fix my truck or the problem. So I drove two-thirds of my journey with no tail lights on the trailer of any kind. We have rented from U-Haul for many years in the past (15+ years). This time was difficult due to availability (not U-Haul's fault). However, I want to point out the description for what fits in a 5 x 10 x 8 outside storage is definitely inaccurate and I caution others. The description lists items that will fit but leave out there is no room for anything else! Did not have a first-floor unit available for storage as I was told previously. what I showed up at the facility they had a hard time finding a room for me to use get it ended up being call the second floor which is very inconvenient for the going up the stairs because I was moving by myself.the whole plan was just to back up the truck into the unit and unload but that wasn't the case.. the staff laid it on the computer. The unit was WAY smaller than the CS rep said it was. I was told it could fit a 4 Room house inside it, it was a closet. When i got to the unit there had been clear damage to the front door. The handle was completely rusted and i was (and still am) unable to access the unit. There was also a giant dead Hawk lying right next to the unit. When i called to find an alternative unit nothing was available. I had to find storage with another company.
