My experience was outstanding until I returned the small utility trailer I'd rented for the day after hours and used the on-line app. I was successful after spending 45 minutes with it, due to the need to create an account and the difficulties with that, and the multi photo requirement: the account creation text stated to get the verification code from the rental email confirmation, but there was no such number supplied, a waste of 10 minutes trying to find it, and then the difficulty accessing my email to get the new code sent after selecting that option in the check in procedure, since it's not the default email on my shared smartphone. And the kicker was the message at the end I'd be charged for two days usage since I returned the trailer a half hour after the store closed, which was news to me, and I disputed the charge. In summary, the trailer reservation and pick up processes were fine, the check in at the end left a bad taste in my mouth.

We pre-registered and still had to wait twenty minutes. Then our dolly was forgotten so I had to stand by for another ten minutes while the salesperson finished their next transaction. It took 30+ minutes from time we arrived until time to leave the lot. This was in addition to the 20+ minutes to make reservation online. Upon return, we were prompted to go online to report return. It took another 20+ minutes to get a verification code, call Uhaul, and get approval to leave behind. We also were given the truck with 1/8 of gas and told to get 1/4 of gas, which was just one more nuisance to a very stressful day.

I returned the trailer after hours, but then got a very unpleasant call from an associate in the morning. Stating that I had not returned the trailer and I would charged extra. Very snarky tone, completely unnecessary, even if the trailer was late, which is wasn't.



I booked a round trip U-Haul truck for early November 2017 read the reservation at this U-Haul store. When arriving early in the morning at the store on three November, I was informed that the truck that I reserved was only for a one-way trip. I explained that this was a mistake and I needed to have a round-trip reservation with one of their trucks for that day. The store customer service representative stated that all trucks and trailers were rented out completely for the weekend. I had no other choice but to rent this a one way from Cape Cod Massachusetts to Rochester, New Hampshire. I had to get a family member Cape Cod to drive to New Hampshire to pick me up and bring me home. Poor customer service when reserving a U-Haul is my survey comment.

I had called 3 times to confirm that the trailer would be available. This was because I had a time frame and I was traveling 300 miles. When I got to the pick up point there was no trailer and was told one would not be available until 4 PM. This was just not acceptable as it totally messed up my schedule. I was told they would locate a trailer and call me. I was contacted and told a trailer would be available at noon. Again not what I had planed and I was not happy. I had to make 2 trips before I actually had a trailer. Whomever is running the call center needs to be better informed as to where and what equipment is available before confirming. Again I am not very happy with my overall experience at all.
