Suggestion: require it then Think about sharing the the cost of the extra insurance with your paying customer or refunding it all together after you have checked out and approved a "no harm done" upon its return. Is it all that important to your bottom line? Thanks for all you did to help out this customer today! Excellent customer service, by the way. :)

This new team is very helpful and accommodating they really help get it done and there's finally a Knouff people and it's nice to have that location answer the phone and be able to get a hold of somebody instead of it being transferred to an out-of-state call center so thank you for all of your updated improvements and Tom is a great manager Daniels awesome Alissa is really really nice and gets the job done and Fred is very very helpful and outgoing.

We rented the truck at 4:45 pm, send some one to pick up the truck at 7pm when the office was closed. After spending 20 minutes in the dark at the lot to find out which truck is the one rent to us by trying the key to each of the truck in the lot and we finally found the one. Started the truck to only find out one of the headlight did not work. We decided not to take the truck. We checked the website and learn that the office will open at 9 next morning. We went home empty handed. Came back this morning at 9 and after 45 minutes of waiting, we were told that we still can take that same truck because we don't need the light during the day time but must bring the truck back by 4 pm otherwise we will be charged for an extra day. Really? From 10 am when the fail equipment truck is picked up to 4 pm of the same day is counted as 24 hours? We declined to pick up the truck and was told that there is no truck of the same size is available so we have to get the bigger truck at a higher price... Really?.... Make the story short.... We left the office at 10:30 AM with a bigger truck, got our moving done and returned the truck at 1:30 Pm and stuck again for a long time to get the return done. We left the office at 2:30 pm. The time we drove to/from the uhaul office is 30 minutes each way for a 15 miles trip. Time to load/unload the truck once 3 hour in total and driven for 1 mile. The time we spent to get/return the truck is a lot more than total time we drove the truck away from office + time of moving + time to drive back to return the truck. Something wrong with this picture?

Maybe have the 6x12 trailers in a more accessible area----if you aren't used to parking them you could a bigger space to work with. That said, I have been to this location yearly for the last 10 years and I have never had such competent and friendly staff and such fast service as I had this time. Excellent!

I was solicited to tow a Ubox from Pa to Fla to receive a credit. At first I agreed and upon further inquiry decided it was not safe to tow this trailer on the highway for long distances. The mechanics warned me that these trailers are not ment to be towed long distances. I think you should seriously consider suspending this program for safety reasons I had another issue dealing with dispatch in Punta Gorda. Hurricane Irma was tracking to my destination and we were already in transit. I asked if we could delay the arrival to avoid the hurricane and he was not helpful. To add to my consternation he raised his voice and say rude to me. I have been a customer for 30 years and don't look forward to using Uhaul in the future

I was told fuel was 1/2, but no one came with me to either inspect the truck or to verify fuel which actually was only 1/3. I was in a rush to get my move done and didn't have time to go back and argue that point, but I had to refill to 1/2 to avoid charges. Speakers on the passenger side did not work. Other than that the staff was courteous and accommodating and the truck had no other issues.

but only if they learn how not to be rude on the phone and understand its stressful moving, so be a little more reasonable when talking on the phone when explaining you may be 15 mins late(which we were exactly)

I left my vaporizer in the truck and I called back and they were nice enough to find it and hold it for me. I really appreciated that especially because they could have kept it and just told me it wasn't there. That really speaks to the kind of quality of people that work there. I have rented trucks three times there before and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. I thank them for their kindness in returning my item.

I was an hour late to drop off and I was charged for an extra day. No one ever said that if I'm even just a little bit late that they would double my the cost. In what universe does a move take as long as you expect it to. An hour off is pretty darn close. I can understand a small charge, or to prorate that extra hour, but to double the price and be charge for a whole extra day is a ruthless way to run a business. Our family uses this uhaul location all the time. We absolutely will not in the future. There are other locations closer to our house. They definitely just lost a repeat customer. NOT happy!

This Uhaul is the best one I have used and is consistently excellent! Team is great to deal with from check in to out. Equipment always in great shape. I am a big fan of your brand and tell this to my friends who have never used Uhaul before.
