This is the second time I rented from this location. I was not please with my experience. I couldn’t adjust the steering wheel, the knob was missing. The light for outside was not marked so we had to drive with the light out except for the park lights the dashboard was black except for the red flashing battery light. When I called in the representative was not aware of the make up of the vehicle to tell me how to turn the lights on . We had to wait for a tow truck for about an hour and a half before anything could be done. I was afraid to move the vehicle in the dark with no dashboard lights and only park lights outside I explain to to the rep about our return time and the fact that we were just sitting waiting for the tow. She assured us that the the time would be moved to the next day with out any additional charges due to the situation.......,. The last time I rented from this location the alignment was off. the truck kept pulling to one side. I had to hold the steering wheel at an angle ?? just to drive straight. In conclusion I will not rent from that location again and I think uhaul should be more concerned about a SAFER WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLE before putting it on the road with customer to jeopardize their safety.

I had a reservation for 7:30am. I arrived ahead of time and waited on line for 1 hour before speaking with the only employee working in the store. It could be a smooth operation, but during peak hours there should be at least 2 people ar the counter. Especially because the contract process with the store rep can take 10 minutes or more with each customer

We went out of our way to clean and top off the gas so we wouldn't incur any charges, and YET we were charged, with no explanation or proof why. We only used the truck for 2 hours, moving ONE mattress (that was wrapped up in a mattress cover) from one location to the other??

They charge me $25 for cleaning fees and it was the same way i took. They just gave me the receipt and didn’t tell me they charge $25 when I looked at the receipt i asked what is that $25 thay said its not clean and I told them i will clean it. It might take 15 seconds to clean it. They refused it seems like a trap. I want them to refund that$25

Charged me for "after hours drop off" although I detached the trailer myself and even rest it on a skid to prevent damage. $21 for literally nothing. I did the work FOR THEM and they charged me for it.

We made the reservation three weeks before of the time we needed. Two days before of the date, the company told me they did not have the truck’s size and location requested available (this means different truck’s size an location). Added to this, when I picked up the truck, the did not have the hand truck that I requested, and gave me a smaller one. Other than that, all the rest was ok. It make no sense to reserve everything in advance to end up receiving what you do not asked for.

I used this branch to rent a truck and use it in my area. I brought the truck back, the worker checked the mileage and told me it was 26 miles was was grossly in correct. From their site to my location it was probably about 10 miles round trip. I even googled it. Of course I was overcharged for the use of the van based on the incorrect information from the reading the worker used.

I reserved a car carrier a month in advance. When I came to get it, it was not save to use, the straps were cut. They gave us a hitch instead and the man who mounted it, mounted it wrong. It wasn't trapped on right and the chains weren't on. A few hours into the ride another driver stopped us to check my car. Turned out only one wheel was on the hitch and the other one was hanging off. On top of all this my car is AWD, and supposed to be on a carrier not a hitch. Now the transmission is shot. Most awful experience.

My original order the location was not able to fulfill my request so it was transferred to another location . Upon arrival I was able to get the size of truck I needed but the additional items I needed to rent was not available . It was a major inconvenience to me and I was very displeased with the customer service as well.

I reserved a 17' truck the day before for 7:00 am I had my confirmation # 29781689 & when i arrived at 7:05 I waited 20 minutes for the sales guy who told me there were no 17' & the group next to me were taking the last 20', so I had to take a 15' that was not enough to fit all my materials into, 2 days prior I had p/u a 20' same location with no issues. The sales guy said oh well ???, he gave me a truck with a 1/4 tank of gas & said if I return it with less then 1/4 take they will charge me 30 dollars, I would like a $50 credit like you say if you can not give the truck i reserved. I would not go back to that sales guy at that location again. Dennis

Firstly, the information on my drop-off was wrong, did not accept this vehicle at this location even though it stated on my reservation. Had to call Uhual and rep was not helpful and understanding even after explaining to them what was on my reservation. How am I to know it was a different drop off. Horrible drop off experience, will probably never use Uhaul again.

We had reserved a 17' and an appliance dolly.. the day before our moving date they called to tell me the 17' truck was not available anymore even after reserving it. Also on pick up date the appliance dolly was not available even thought that too was reserved. It caused minor inconvenience but if a customer reserves a product prior unlike just walking in it should have been available. The staff were courteous and well spoken but unable to give an answer about what we reserved.

I booked a 17 feet truck rental a few days before I went to pick it up and they called me on the day of pick up 5 minutes before I arrived to tell me that they do not have the vehicle size I booked due to a leak since it was raining that day. I had to settled for a 15 feet truck because I had no choice since they gave me no time to make other arrangements since I was already driving to the uhaul location to pick it up. I knew the 15 feet was too small and will have to make 2 trips which costed me double the mileage. When I asked them about the $50 "Reservation Guarantee", I was told that it only applies if I do not settle with a truck that day. Since they gave me no time to make other arrangements, I had no choice but to accept the 15 feet truck available. According to the "Reservation Guarantee" policy, they were supposed to call me the day prior which they did not call until the day of when I was already on my way to the U-Haul location. After I drove the 15 feet truck home to load my stuff, I noticed the truck was leaking water inside. I didn't have time to drive it back for another truck so my husband wipe up the water and plugged the leaking area with a towel and we proceeded with packing our stuff. So not only did I not get the bigger truck I initially ordered due to leaks but I received a smaller truck that also leaked along with driving 2 trips which costed me double the mileage. I had rented from U-Haul before with no issue but I'm definitely not happy with what happened this time. I believe if a customer books a truck in advance, they need to make sure the truck is working properly regardless of the weather or give the customer a discounted price if they are unable to accommodate to a bigger truck size since it is not the customer's fault and it'll cost the customer double mileage to make 2 trips. I rather they gave me the 17 feet truck I booked since the 15 feet truck had leaks anyways plus double the mileage for 2 trips. Calling the customer 5 minutes before pick up time does not suffice as giving us a notice to make other arrangements. I will think twice before renting from U-Haul next time.

Everything went smoothly, except the truck only had one functioning headlight and I knew I would be driving at night and need the headlights. Felt unsafe and that is a pretty big piece of the inspection. I wasn't happy about that. Otherwise pleasant experience at this location.

They charge me for late night service without letting me know the fact that if I left the car after hours there will be a charge. However while renting the car they told me that I can return the car anytime I want but never told me that there will be a charge for that.

We dropped off a truck and pod after hours and left the keys in a "drop keys here" box. I get 3 calls that i left the truck in an inconvenient place, they can't find the keys, and to come move the car from their receiving area. THREE calls in a span of 2 hours. When I finally called back, I told them to check their BOX!!! After dropping off the pod with the truck that morning, I called to which a call center responded saying their wasn't anything else I needed to do. The associates from the location then asked me if the pod was packed or empty. I had already discussed this with the call center. Do you guys not communicate with each other? Is it not protocol to check the drop box before calling the customer 3 times to ask them to come back and move the truck?

The staff was very pleasant and even though the customer before me was very unpleasant and rude the clerk handled the situation very professionally. Always rent from UHAL at this very location.

The only thing I didn't think was safe was the staircase, every floor is locked from the inside so you get stuck in the staircase and it can be very scary. Other than that one issue I was a satisfied
