I would not recommend this place to anybody because when I went to get a large storage room I was not told that they close at 6 o'clock I went and packed all my stuff got a U-Haul truck it was back door after six and that's a lot to me that's very inconsiderate Concerning all of your customers get out of work at 5 o'clock and gives them an hour to get their things packed over there I never heard of a storage closing at 5 o'clock or 6 o'clock in the evening that I did I'm very upset about it but I got destroyed but I won't be back until this one sorrycharles H.

This location is set up so you just drive the uhaul truck up to a station where they check everything for you and take over. Super easy and great customer service. That being said, I was scheduled to drop the truck off at a different location. When I showed up there they employee told me they weren't accepting uhaul trucks and that they had notified the uhaul company several times. They are the ones who provided me with the address for this location and they were very helpful in assisting me with getting around the construction stuff to safely get back on the road. That being said, uhaul has great people working for them but the company itself needs to seriously update/ overhaul it's system. There's no reason, with today's tech that I couldn't have received some notification that I needed to drop it off somewhere else. Thank goodness I had added enough gas for the extra leg of the trip. Moving is stressful enough without the added last minute obstacles.Amber G.

The customer service at this location is horrible. I wanted to rent an appliance dolly with my 15ft truck and there wasn't one available. So I rented from another location telling them I'd like to return it with the truck at Grand Parkway. As far as I knew it was set up for me to return to Grand Parkway. Apparently it wasn't and the manager at Grand Parkway wasn't helpful and told me I couldn't return it there. She also admitted that they haven't had these dollys for a long time. Unbelievable, I would have thought she would be happy to return this item for me since didn't have any. She was rude and very abrasive. I became very frustrated at how she was treating me and verbalized my frustration and she told me I should take my business elsewhere. Uhaul has a real problem if this is how a manager treats customers in this circumstance. I'll look else where next time I need a rental.Scott W.

I've used this location several times in the last 2 months. 1st they tried to hook up a trailer with a flat tire. I had to point it out. The next time I had a 26' truck and asked them to connect the car hauler and they wouldn't do it unless I paid another $20. Better customer service, professionalism not there I was lied to, my service dog almost die cause of uhaul ,game playing the entire time from uhaul it was just a horrible nightmare experience and I wish you go out of business my auto transport I run it in on July 23 and on July 24 it's still on my acct I saw them that they rented my trailer to a young couple and it was nevered check in I will not be responsible for whatever happen to it And on top of everything staff ignored me twice during my equipment return I had to detach the trailer myself because they were not helping me uhaul caused me a lot of anxiety and stress not good with people with disability eithermyriam A.

Reason why I’m giving you a poor rating is because parking sucks, it is very hard to get into the unloading spot on a busy day because there is too much equipment taking up room in order to park, and the access hours are the same as the office hours which are inconvenient.RUSSELL K. | Overall Experience

The problem is the staff can't locate my records. I had a one way move from New Jersey to Houston. U-Haul offered one month free storage (month of June). I thought I'd need more space, so I also rented one. I didn't use either (as it turns out). So, yesterday I tried to cancel both for July. Whoever I talked to couldn't locate my records. The process of checking out customers is way too long. A line of people waiting for either rentals or check-in was several people and the staff was real slow. I had pre-checked in and had to wait about 30 minutes to get to a staff member to check out. The actual experience once I to my turn was quick, but still seems to have some steps that could have been done online. Staff had to get alternate name and phone number; had to make copy of driver license using phone...Things like that slow the process. Still, this is a great place to rent a truck or trailer and I will return.DAMIAN D.

I particularly selected this facility because of its location, and it had a first-floor unit available. So, I jumped at the opportunity and reserved it. Unfortunately, when I arrived that was not the case. The first-floor unit I reserved was no longer available even though that is the one I reserved. I made the selection on 6/10 and selected the earliest move in date 6/23. Almost 2 weeks later. Because I already waited almost 2 weeks, I was not able to wait until a unit on the first floor was available again. While speaking with one of your employees I asked how to get a first-floor unit and he told me I can either call back occasionally, or go through the reservation system again, well that didn’t work the first time around why would I do that again so I will be calling to get the unit I originally reserved the first time. Then having to take time and finding people to help move the items again. Being in the customer service industry I know not to promise something that I can not deliver.Nicole M. | First Impressions

For five years my biggest complaint was employees constantly taking up parking spaces at the loading dock. Unfortunately we had to find out that the Security is a joke as my storage was broken in to and thousands of dollars of work equipment was stolen. U-Haul corporate and this location not willing to help us at all. What good is monitoring every storage unit and having cameras if you're not willing to help the people who get ripped off? No gas on the truck I almost ran out of gas. They gave me $12 discount saying that I needed to bring it back with a quarter of a tank know it takes at least $45 to get that truck to a quarter of a tank. Then say they wouldn’t charge me for an extra day because I had one of my movers get sick on me and couldn’t unload the truck until the next day so was 2 hrs late getting the truck back. Overall I had a pleasant experience with UHAUL. Unfortunately, I noticed that employees tend to park at the loading area, making it very difficult to pull your car or trailer up to unload/load. The staff needs to be a bit more aware of parking heir personal cars in the shade of the loading dock. I was there for 5 hours, and most of the time on the short side of the dock there was an unused u-haul truck and two employee vehicles, leaving only one available for your customers. I’ve rented trucks for uhaul for years and just recently decided to rent a storage unit as well. I have had my unit for around 2 months and was offered my first month free since I also rented a truck. Now, 2 months later, the one month free was never honored and I was charged over $100 each month. The most concerning problem is that I was 1 day late on my second month payment and I went to my storage unit over a week later and they had locked me out of my unit for a missed payment although I paid it a day after it was due and because they closed early, there was no one to unlock it. I asked why I was locked out and they told me they did not know why there was still a lock on my unit because “they update their system daily” and should have taken the lock off a week ago when I paid. This was a huge inconvenience and due to the poor management and awful customer service skills of all of the employees, except for one young man who I did not get the name of, (and Mike the manager is AWFUL) I will absolutely never use uhaul for any reason ever again. I didn't move in. I was not aware of the overnight rental fee. I turned the truck in early and was charged $20 .I'm not saying the worker didn't inform me.
