Please call me like I was promised by UHaul customer care. When I questioned the check engine light and rough running, emission issue fumes. I was told to take it like that after your people three quarts in it and that it will clear up because it was just bad gas!! It took double the amount of fuel to make my trip and fumes made my have severe headache having to deal with them while driving. I had to also have a person follow me because I was afraid for the safety of myself and anybody else that was near this vehicle!!WILLIAM W.

Ensure all equipment is safe and in good working order prior to customer departing with it. Have easy fix maintenance replacement items onsite. Ensure all chains are connected to vehicle and trailer properly. Again, Josie was extremely kind however it didn't feel good to hear by 2 other dealers that the rear chains should have been connected by this dealer especially since the front straps weren't as tight as possible.Renarda T.

I was told different things by every representative I spoke with, not only was it extremely frustrating but gave me zero confidence in the service. I would never recommend this service to anyone and the movers that were booked through the uhaul referral showed up 6 hours late after my third day of taking off work for my stuff to not show up. things were broken - boxes with handles were moved upside down over all just a mess. Also I was told everytime I called to check on my missing box that I would receive a $50 per day refund once it showed up. weeks later I am not on a 30 minute hold to find out why I have to chase you down to get this promised refund. My fiancee flew in twice to help but due to poor communication and coordination on uhauls part he ended up having to leave before ever helping me with the move and I had to do this all alone. Also took off 3 full vacation days for the move which never happened on time. I should have gotten the move for free for the wasted time, money and amount of stress it caused on top of the broken items due to obvious careless movers. Agents always seem annoyed at Uhaul. They never smile and seem so bothered. This is my second rental in 2 weeks and the agent didn't seem too happy to be at work or happy to assist me. I know Uhaul is busy on weekends but without customers Uhaul would fail. The agent I used at Imperial Storage made me feel like I was important to her and she helped to modify my reservation to fit my needs and improve my overall price. It just seemed very expensive(133.00) for a 2 hour rental to transport 3 bar stools. I felt jipped but didn't have a choice. Overall not a pleasant experienceLEQWATA S.

His comments were rude, he was pushing me to move faster. I was confused as to which eye to look at since I couldn't tell if he was looking at me of otherwise. The truck smells like cigarette smoke so strongly that I requested another truck. The worker told me that they all smell the same and was not given a different truck. The pictures they gave me was not in the picture originally submitted to my rental agreement. I had to dispute all of the images they provided. Dishonest move? The truck had broken cup holder and plenty of scratches and dings throughout. Also only had 1/4 tank left. As if they gave a truck from reject pile. I returned my trailer within the 24-hour period. When I arrived at the rental location to drop the trailer, I was met in the parking lot by 2:00 U-Haul attendance. They helped me back the trailer into the storage location and said that I was good to go. So I left. The next day my credit card reflected a 2-day rental instead of a 1-day rental, because they had checked the trailer in at 8:45 p.m. instead of 6:20 p.m., pushing me over the 24-hour rental markJON R.

No gas on the truck I almost ran out of gas. They gave me $12 discount saying that I needed to bring it back with a quarter of a tank know it takes at least $45 to get that truck to a quarter of a tank. Then say they wouldn’t charge me for an extra day because I had one of my movers get sick on me and couldn’t unload the truck until the next day so was 2 hrs late getting the truck back. The staff needs to be a bit more aware of parking heir personal cars in the shade of the loading dock. I was there for 5 hours, and most of the time on the short side of the dock there was an unused u-haul truck and two employee vehicles, leaving only one available for your customers. I’ve rented trucks for uhaul for years and just recently decided to rent a storage unit as well. I have had my unit for around 2 months and was offered my first month free since I also rented a truck. Now, 2 months later, the one month free was never honored and I was charged over $100 each month. The most concerning problem is that I was 1 day late on my second month payment and I went to my storage unit over a week later and they had locked me out of my unit for a missed payment although I paid it a day after it was due and because they closed early, there was no one to unlock it. I asked why I was locked out and they told me they did not know why there was still a lock on my unit because “they update their system daily” and should have taken the lock off a week ago when I paid. This was a huge inconvenience and due to the poor management and awful customer service skills of all of the employees, except for one young man who I did not get the name of, (and Mike the manager is AWFUL) I will absolutely never use uhaul for any reason ever again.
