The truck needs mechanical maintenace. There is a swerving issue while you drive you feel truck leans more to the right side and swerves to keep it and hold it in position you use to hold the wheel firmly if you let go it swerves to the right. Hissing or grinding noise from left front (driver side) tire. As if the bearing needs to be checked. Also, minor exhaust leak or manifold leak. Excessive gas
FADI YEasy Peasy. Onsite attendants on May 2, 2026 were very helpful, informative and accommodating. When I arrived at the storage facility, it was very very busy with many vehicles parked in the lot. One of the lot attendants moved a rental trailer so that I could park my mini van close to the entranceway. This made the process of moving big, heavy things out of storage very easy and timely for me. A small yet very generous and courteous gesture like this goes a long way to build brand loyalty. Overall, a very positive experience at this location. Pls share this comment with the onsite staff who worked on May 2, 2026: Great job. Keep up the good work. Thx.

JEFFREY SU-Haul service starting from telephone representatives to on-site personnel are excellent. U-Haul equipment is superior to equipment consumers can buy for themselves and give peace of mind when towing vehicles or when moving.

BRIAN SThe truck I rented is in need of service despite having only 34000 miles on it. Many times throughout my rental a warning would pop up saying the airbag was in need of service – not what you want to see while driving for four hours on the highway. I assume it was a sensor problem and not an actual airbag problem but should be addressed. Also disappointed that the extra charge of full day plus mileage for picking up and dropping off in different cities was not clearly communicated online. All interactions with staff were very good.
BYRON KDo a thorough check of the truck to make sure all equipment which was requested by the customer is indeed present in the truck. I added on a furniture dolly for $7 and upon arriving to my destination I realized it was never put in the truck. I then completed my move without it and returned the truck, only to see an $80 charge on my receipt for a “missing furniture dolly”. The furniture dolly isn’t missing, it was never loaded into the truck in the first place. If anyone who works at this location would’ve taken the time to ensure the order was correct this wouldn’t have happened, now I’m sitting here out $80 and unsure if I’ll be able to get it back

LAWRENCE PI think it would be great to get a reminder that there is not on site parking. Additionally it would be an improvement is have parking available while using a truck. A separate line for pre-booked truck rentals and returns during busy times.
ALISON STrailer floor was dirty and had several major sticky spots. I swept and mopped it before use. Trailer was otherwise good and more than met our needs for a long haul move between cities.
George DI scheduled my pickup for 8 AM via remote pickup, but because the parking area was jam-packed, I wasn't able to actually get my U-Haul reservation until almost 9 AM, making the move more rushed. We had a tight deadline to empty my daughter's apartment by noon. This is why I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend because, based on my experience, remote app pickup is next to impossible and really shouldn't be offered at this location.

SOTIRIOS PThe truck I ordered to pick up in Kingston and drop in Guelph was not at the location I requested , as a result I was unable to complete my move. This is no way to run a company. Very poor customer service and experience! Should be disgusted with this approach!
LESLIE HI am not happy because we rented the trailer for 2 days - picking it up at 1pm on the Thursday so i should be able to return it by 1pm on Saturday. They stated i had to have it back by 8am on Saturday because it was booked for another rental. I said i could accomodate that but i had to pay the full price for 2 days rental despite YOUR team telling me i couldn't keep it for the 48 hours. I do not agree with that at all. You are double dipping essentially because of the overlap. I would have thought even a $10 discount should have been offered. That left a sour taste in my mouth.
CHRISTOPHER SCustomer service was not great, and the rental was not stored on site. Took 20 minutes to do online check in, then had to wait 10 minutes for an employee to return with truck. She walked right past me, and we waited 5 more minutes while they looked for the keys The truck was clean enough I guess, but had dusty footprints by the seats, and was grubby in the back. Almost 2$ per mile is crazy expensive! Read the fine print
Sydney BGreat location but it was busy and crowded in the parking lot. People were patient and it was ok but I can see someone getting frustrated waiting to get in or out. Staff are awesome and helpful. They had the trailer size I needed.

ADAM SWhen we were returning the truck to the U-Haul location in Kingston, we told the staff of our issues with the truck, they didn’t seem interested in listening and told us that since the truck wasn’t ‘one of theirs’ (it had Arizona plates) that we could contact the manager through email and report the issues that way. Seemed super lazy and put the responsibility back on us..
Bill CGoing around the 10' truck, checking for scratches or dents was a very lengthy process. A bit over-the-top.
ANNE CYour staff at this location were amazing. I've never used u-haul before, but your staff of younger gentlemen were funny, they seemed to be enjoying their job, and they were also incredibly fasr and efficient and helpful. You have a great bunch of young men working there.

The app said access to locker was 0500-2200 so we were there just before 1700. 2 nights in a row there was a heavier set lady working and she was outside and all she kept saying was is your access 24 hrs? She did not actually come up and have a proper conversation with us. Just basically speaking loudly out in yard. I was unsure of 24hr access but was going by app. She wanted name and locker number making us feel like we were causing disruption to something we knew nothing about. Not professional in sorting anything out or taking time to properly discuss. Locker location and acess and use of carts and the in/out using our code was otherwise just fine.

Deep P | Overall ExperienceMy storage locker was robbed twice. I lost around 2k worth of stuff (a bike, and some electronics). I have insurance on my Peterborough locker, so I thought I had insurance on this one because I didn't sign an agreement here until after I was robbed- so I assumed it was under the same agreement. Since I don't have insurance here, I'm just out of luck, and I lost all those possessions. No follow up from the manager, no credits given, they wouldn't even show me the video. The staff was nice, but largely ineffective, and didn't take any ownership over the problem. Honestly, the Peterborough U-Haul compared to Kingston is night and day in terms of quality.

Micheal B | First ImpressionsI found one girl very rude and ignorant has no clues on customer care especially when we leave money into your paychecks, I was told I'd give that one extra day to remove a bed out of my storage facility they went and put a lock on it and I had to pay an extra month where I lost my keys on 16th had to get a locksmith then that my van broke down cost me $600 to remove my bed that includes the extra $100 fee for an extra month I did not need I went the next day to remove my bed out of the storage locker and there was a lock on the door and the gentleman would not remove it I told the girl never to speak to me again in the phone she speaks with I find some stuff including the manager extremely rude to the people who put a paycheck pockets the manager should have gave me the extra day to remove the bed then the locker would have became available to rent to others, I'm not impressed with the conduct of one girl and one or two staff members there they need to improve their customer relations8

I do not see how paying 216.00 is worth being locked out of my unit the next day, this needs to be remedied or I will leave the facility and find somewhere else to use for storage. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks
