When we picked up our U-Haul Trailer, the trailer lights didn't work. The technician tried to troubleshoot but didn't need to spend too much time with it. Upon the conclusion that it needed repair, he quickly offered us a free upgrade from a 5 x 8 to a 6 x 12 trailer. It was very nice of him and we were more than satisfied with the quick solution.

I was two hours late but I was just a hair under a quarter tank so I wanted to fuel up to make sure there were no issues. In no time I put $50 in and got my truck to a half a tank. I asked for them to cut me some slack since I was a repeat customer and they would not. At some point, companies need to help customers a little more than what is black and white. If they could have waved the late fee since I brought it back gassed up I would have been delighted. They sorta acted like it was out of their control.

Make knowing how much fuel you need to in a little easier and possibly a little less picky on the fuel. It's basically impossible to get the correct amount without putting too much in. Have more support on. I had to wait around 40 minutes and I had at least 3 people behind me waiting even longer.

The guys went above and beyond. They couldnt believe how awful my experience was in Tucson. He even checked my air presser in the fusion and filled it a bit :) They took pictures of the emergency strap not attached correctly the whole thing would have flown across the freeway.

I was given the wrong truck so when I returned it said I drove over 1400 when really it was barely 60 miles. The 2 people that worked there had no idea what they were doing. I did online check in and yet I waited there for almost an hour with a 2 year old in line and out in the rain only to be given the wrong truck. "Online check in" is a joke and beyond misleading.

More on our pick up location, but WHY does Uhaul not advise that it is ILLEGAL to tow a car without working lights for brakes, taillights, etc?! I find it very strange you does lighting on trailer but don't at least suggest you will need a car light kit of some sort! We got pulled over and cited. Very poor experience and very poor on UHaul's end.

The only complaints I have is how far we had to cart our things to our unit. For us personally, it was very inconvenient as I'm putting almost an entire household in storage. The other complaint I have is a couple of times we came to our unit, there was someone sleeping in a vehicle parked inside the garage.

I have rented Uhauls from this location over and over for a few years. However this time I was charged for the utility dolly which we didn't use even thou it never had a green zip tie on it. We had our own dollies. I also filled the gas up to where it was when I got it but was charged for 2 gallons of gas at $5.00/gal.

Horrible Customer service, it seemed as though I was interrupting the team members working at the desk. One of them finally asked what I needed while playing a game on his phone. He had also had a massive amount of chewing tobacco in his mouth and was spitting it in front of us. Didn't say a word when helping us hook up the trailer.

I think being charged 25 cents for a little over the millage was uncalled for. There should be a letter of the law vs the Spirt of the Law. Overall, everything was good.

My only issue was that the width of the 5x10x10 door was considerably narrower than 5 feet. It made it very difficult to get a couch through the door with a wall right across from it. Other than that, everything was great; love the indoor storage.

Chippewa falls uhaul was very helpful, Eau Claire was NOT. That was the location I was supposed to be at, apparently they are not cleaning out their units to make their numbers look better. So people like myself are inconvenienced and have to drive an hour round trip for her dorm room furniture

Here is the problem! When I signed up I asked the person at the desk to set me up as auto pay. When I got the first email bill I realized that it wasn’t done. I called the phone number and after a 30 minute hold I paid online and tried to set up autopay, it was confirmed I thought. I therefore go Oreo the July bill as I thought I had auto pay. When I got. A late notice with a 40$ late fee. I called again and after a 22 minute hold got to a person who said he put me on auto pay and charge me 149$ for the two units. He said he didn’t have the authority to waive the late fee. Said he would transfer me directly to someone who could. I was placed right back in to the call in line and a projected 26 min hold. I hung up . This morning I was charged the 40$ with no explanation.The phone system is awful and answered by people with no authority. VERY FRUSTRATING!!

When sent the move in information a brief explanation of where the unit is located in reference to the building would be very helpful (inside, outside, behind building, etc.) Also I was told there would be a lock provided in my storage shed and there was not. Not a huge deal, but still a minor inconvenience.

The linoleum tile flooring is half-missing & very dirty in one storage unit, but the other unit is great. Keeping the building at max 85 degrees is a little too warm in the summer (we were sweating buckets when the building was at 80). Overall though, I really like this facility. It's secure & clean, and the people are friendly.

I liked everything about the process except for the fact that I was assignef two 5 x 5 units rather than one 10 x 10 so I needed to go to the front desk to get a 10 x 10 unit. I would assume that was a system issue, not an on site issue.

I had no choice but to come into the store as nobody answered the phone at all. I was on hold every day for a week and at least an hour at a time. So I finally drove into the store to talk to a person. That was disappointing to have no one answer the phone!!

In an email I received, I was told that I would have 24 hour access to my possessions. However, I arrived at the Lake Hallie location at 10:15 one night to find the doors locked and my access denied. I was moving my things from Eau Claire, so this was very inconvenient for me to have to drive back with all of my things and wait until the next day to unload. Upon further investigation, I did find the correct access hours online at the very bottom, but I am frustrated that the information online was inconsistent with information in the email.

There was no staff that I could find at the Chippewa location, my daughter and I needed help luckily there was another family to help us with the unit and the lock. I reserved a spot online for Eau Claire weeks ago, drive there to find that all units were sold. I had to drive 30 min out of our way for this. The guy in Eau Claire was kind and patient with my rant. This is awful for uhaul to put this extremely poor service on the backs of your workers. I will never again rent from uhaul for storage

The instructions were not clear regarding the vehicle entry areas. 2 of the vehicle entry doors did not even work (open). I was able to gain access to the storage areas and my unit without entering my personal key code. There was no lock in my unit as explained in the instructions, making me go back and forth to the office. I had to go to the office 3 times to complete my initial access to my unit. Staff was not as friendly or helpful as I expected.

Top rate facility. The fact that carts are available for moving items was a real plus, in addition to having the ability to load and unload inside. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This facility is best in the area and seemed to have any size unit needed. The storage units themselves are well kept and monitored by staff so you know your items are secure.

The facility is clean and secure. I was shown how to access the building and taken to the storage unit after I set up the rental. It was really great that there were mattress carts and flat carts available to move items in and out of the building. A great experience overall.

The U-Haul on Prairie View Road in Chippewa Falls is the finest U-Haul facility I have ever seen. Huge selection of trucks and trailers, all the supplies in stock, and the storage facilities are beyond compare: dry, clean, well-lit, secure and convenient. I would recommend them without reservation.

While the facility and staff were wonderful at Chippewa Falls Location, U-Haul policy and impersonal customer service on a company level will have us never recommending or using their services again. We rented a unit for our college student, paid a year in advance, needed the unit until June 1st, and per policy had to pay the entire month of June, no prorating. $45 for one day. If storage is needed at a later date, we will for sure look for a company that values their costumers hard earned dollar and loyalty.

The GM is a very nice guy. I live in Eau Claire and need a storage unit about once a year and I will only use the Chippewa Uhaul because it is clean and efficient.

I was quoted one price by an employee, which I will not name and then another employee raise the priceand let me think I was getting it for the lesser price until I went to sign the papers and it was put on my debit card! So everyone please beware! I called them as soon as I got back to my place and ended up having to accept the price that I was given. Everyone is really nice though.

Idea great on paper not to mention recycling a large "out of business kmart store" and doing storage units ! Great idea . Until the moment comes to put ur ststuff in. A 2 room house would take forever because u have to cart small load to the equivelent of the back of kmarts. I would never use this place again due to th e serious hassle of carting in n out my stuff. A shame no doubt . Id cut atleast 1 pathway for a truck down th the middle with a couple branchs. Other then that im guessing it would fail
