There's two things I didn't like about my rental experience. My first concern is the vehicle inspection, is a waste if time to do it by yourself, download the pics and explain why. My second concern is not been able to drop of the vehicle at another Uhaul store , it had to be drop off at the location where it was original rented. It's a waste of time and inconvenience. Initially I scheduled a storage move-in at Crystal Properties Dba Interskate Self Storage through the Uhaul website (reservation number 23533318). This business hasn't even been a Uhaul affiliate facility for a couple of years according to the owner. I had everything in my uhaul and went to the facility (it's behind a skating rink, the owner owns both) and the owner told me that he hasn't been affiliated with Uhaul for a few years and are no longer a public storage facility. I can't comprehend how Uhaul can falsely advertise a storage facility on their website. I wasted time and money booking this storage just to find out it no longer exists. I had to find another storage. The only available units were 10Ã—10Ã—9 for $130+ a month ( new contract number 89495116) When I reserved a 10Ã—15Ã—8 for $89 a month online at Uhaul.com atÂ Crystal Properties Dba Interskate Self Storage. I not only had to downsize and can't fit everything I have in this unit, but I have to pay more monthly than I initially would have.PAMELA M.

I returned the utility trailer just prior to 5pm Sunday after a 1 day rental. The employees were busy helping others. I remember one employee working with a customer in a red truck outside. I waited patiently but could not get anyone's attention. Finally, I parked the trailer myself and when I went to the door it was locked. I departed afterwards. Both times I've tried to check in equipment after hours have been complete failures resulting in me sitting on hold for 20 minutes. First time it was trying to require an account, last time it wouldn't accept my location (not that you need it anyways). This has become a pattern of 100% failure rate, I'm left feeling like my u-haul options are limited to being able to drop off during business hours.Kyle P.

no physical contract was presented. Likely because of the electronic availability. Originally ordered a truck and dolly. Opps no dollies at all at this location BUT I could drive only 8 min to another location to get one. It is too bad the other location had only dollies, both furniture and other committed to their rentals and to bad for me .. call Uhaul and they will find one for you. Sigh, I already travelled more than 30 miles out of my way (adding to the original mileage) before being told nope no dollies. I wasted several hours of my time finding a furniture dolly and many extra miles driving around when in fact it was Uhaul's responsibility to furnish one as per the original contract request upon calling Uhaul to begin the rental process. The guys who worked there were very polite and helped me out. I would really recommend this location in the future. I used another location on I35 near beltline last time (1682 S Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006) and the mexican guy who worked the front desk ordered me rudely when I entered to "put on my mask" and were very surly and rude. That was not the experience with this location, thankfully. My rental was to include a 10' truck and a dolly. The agent who helped me cleaned the truck as I waited in the lobby. The agent then told me the truck is ready and handed me my contract. When I arrived at my destination, there was no dolly in the truck. I had to move heavy equipment by myself. The next day I was charged $84 dollars for a missing dolly. Unable to talk directly to the desk attendants by phone, I had to go in to the store and speak to the manager. The Manager explained she would have to investigate the matter and "run the tapes" in order for me to get a refund. The overall experience was a huge inconvenience that could have been avoided by having the agent verify the customer has what is ordered on the contract.Rodney M.

When I arrived at the location, the app kicked me out so I had to go inside and wait for someone to help me. The lady was very nice and unlocked the truck for me just to find that the dolly was not put back in place. So I had to wait more for her to go get a zip tie to lock it up as it was not needed. This was my 1st sign that the truck was not properly checked back in. The gas gauge was not at the correct gas level as indicated on the contract. When I returned the truck. I told the employee it wasn't correct. He asked if I had taken a picture implying I was not telling truth. I went 16 miles and the truck was at a 1/4 of a tank when I returned it (after putting gas in it). It doesn't take a genius (or does it) to figure out I wouldn't have used that much gas if it was at a 1/2 tank when I picked it up. The employee told me to go get gas or I would be charge extra to fill it to 1/2 a tank. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told she was unable to talk to me at that moment. This location is very much understaffed as I had to go look for employees when I picked it up and when I returned it.Zackalyn G.
