We were scheduled to pick up a 26ft but the person didn't return it on time. They called and asked if we could come an hour later. When we arrive truck still isn't there so they have us 15ft truck. Which now we had to make two trips and incur double the charge for mileage. Which we wouldn't have had to do if we had received the truck we reserved. We should not have gotten charged for double mileage. This is uhauls fault. Then we receive the truck start to load it and notice there was a lot of yellow oil on the floor of the back of the truck. Complete inconvenience and we had to clean it up and lay blankets down so we don't mess up furniture. We then had to throw the blankets away once we arrived to our destination. Overall I would rate this experience a 1. I am not happy with my experience and will be contacting corporateRoman L.

One of the tire straps on the trailer was missing the part that feeds into the ratchet rendering it useless. Had to run out and buy some tie down straps since we didn't notice until we got to pick up the car 3 hours away). Cost me an extra $25.Stephen C.

Please be advised before I had moved the truck an inch, I verified the mileage and found there was an error. On the contract the mileage read 48756.0, but the actual mileage in the truck read 48760.0. I immediately notified the female employee and she stated she will adjust it. I returned the truck with the ending mileage of 48810.0. I again asked the female employee if the correct mileage was updated and she stated, "yes, I have updated the correct mileage". I was overcharged, I sent an email stating this issue and attached pictures for proof and no one has contacted me since then.KRISHNADA M.

I've booked a reservation for 24 hours with 30 miles included but the uhaul location in Linden claimed there are no 24 hour reservations in NJ and instead expect me to drop the vehicle back in 4 hours. He was so rude and doesn't really know how to talk to customers. I had to change my plan entirely to accommodate the change and returned back the vehicle by 9.30 PM. It appears to me that the vehicle was overbooked, this is my uhaul ride and it turned out to be terrible experience, sorry.Shiva Y.

The entire experience was horrible. After calling me two days before my pick up, I arrived at a new location after paying $20 in an uber to find out they did not have a truck for me. Spent an hour at the location to be told I had to pay to take an Uber to Linden paying another $20. I reserved a one way renter but ended up having to drive back to Jersey from Maryland. Spending an additional $30 in tolls, $60 in gas and $70 to take a train back to Maryland. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN.CELEST B.

My original contract was broken. We did not receive the truck we reserved two weeks from the dates we needed the truck. Called corporate to reserved the rental. Spoke with a human. Received my email confirmation. And still, you got it wrong. Needed help. Was lied to when I rang corporate again. Received no assistance, support, help. We were literally stuck in the dark, outside with our belongings. I will never use u-haul again. And I will be writing multiple reviews on my hideous treatment and terrible experience. I don't think most it was anything at your end. The service with Verizon has been crap for the last 3 weeks, and it took me almost an HOUR to check my vehicle out on the app/website. The only problem was that my reservation was at 8am, and at 8:05, it wouldn't prompt me to my lock box access. I needed to wait until someone got into the office at 830 to resend me a link, and even then it took a while to work.Pawel P.
