The only 2 things that probably can be improved are the elevator & the parking lot. The elevator was out of service 2 out of 5 times I went there, and unfortunately it was when I needed to move heavy items. There is no parking lot for customers cars. You either need to park in the bank across the street or on the sideline and if you have to carry boxes then keep in mind you will have to do several trips back and forth. Apart from these 2 things, everything else is excellent. Nicole is very helpful. There are units for every need. Everything is clean and well maintained. Will definitely recommend it

They messed up my reservation and no one wanted to fix it I Had to leave with a smaller truck on moving day and I had to spend more money because the amount of trip I had to do. The night before they called me to offer me a deal I hear him out and he wanted to give me a 15ft truck for 10 dollars I said no I can't He said cool the next morning a girl calls me and tells me sorry sir the 20 ft truck you reserved the heat doesn't work so we can't rent it and sorry we can't do nothing for you you have to go to the other uhaul down the street they have it for you. I got to the store and they don't have no reservation for me and no 20ft trucks either and she had left a note about me that wasn't to nice of her to do. So by telling you this so to teach your employees to be mindful off peoples situation and not be about money only I get it's business but don't screw with people on moving day when they expect to be moving. Their happened in Malden ma eastern ave location

Everyone was really friendly. I accidentally did two orders online because I was trying to get items off that I didn't need and the women at the counter was so helpful. Everything was fixed and fast. I would have liked if the employees wore masks while customers were in the store.

had to call customer service to resolve an issue with the general manager that said my reservation was not valid without any proof. Nicole Taylor, GM, denied service and tried to transfer me to another store, this was due to a change in service that was not explained. Even after I accepted the terms of that store, she insisted in denying me service and was only resolved with at customer service representative that talked to Nicole to help me. I spent 45 minutes trying to resolve an issue that was absolutely unnecessary. Please, you need to train your staff on dealing with people...

Service in the morning during pick up of the truck was great. Service in the evening during drop off was okay. I did not appreciate that the rep was taking too long to look over the truck, mileage, and fuel marker because he was taking to other people outside of the uhaul store regarding personal business such as the sale of shoes. This should be done on your personal time.

Nicole and K must have been trained very well because the experience we had was awesome. Nicole was also very good at explaining details to us. K was good as well, he got us the utility Dolly and tied it in place for us. I would definitely go back to that location and recommend people to this location because the experience we had was amazing.

CLEAN THE TRUCK and take ALL necessary precautions in this era of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, PLEASE! There were two DIRTY face masks left in the truck. It was stressful and very unsettling that UHaul did not CLEAN the truck before my rental as we are all very aware of the COVID-19 health crisis. The interior of the truck was also DIRTY!!! Again not acceptable during the pandemic. When I told one of the employees, she responded very non-chalantly saying, "Well, did you write that in the link you got?" I then asked if UHaul checked to see if the trucks were clean before renting, and she replied, "Oh, that's the responsibility of the previous renter not ours." The employee who waited on me, since online app was not working, had her mask below her nose. There was no hand sanitizer for customers only for the employee. This was a very uncomfortable experience. I will ABSOLUTELY not recommend UHAUL if the Malden Ctr location is typical of how UHaul is responding to the pandemic. In no way did my experience match the UHaul commitment: "Equipment preparation standards have intensified. We're sanitizing steering wheels, door handles, control knobs, keys, seats and seatbelts. Cargo areas are cleaned. Retail stores are sanitized continually. Distancing plans and capacity limits are observed."

To not check off accidentally that I was in an accident when I wasn't. Since that was scary that the uhaul rep who checked in the rental was convinced it happened. However it was her who created the accident by her own unknown mistake. Her manager realized she did it.

When I arrived there were two other customers who has been waiting outside the store for 10 minutes. There was a sign on the door that said "be back in 5 minutes" and it took the staff nearly 40 minutes to do whatever they were doing inside that kept them from helping customers. The appliance dollys I rented were frozen and covered in snow, the truck was covered in snow and there were cardboard boxes in the cab. The back of the truck had dirt and rocks in it. WORST of all, not a single employee that I came into contact with wore a mask. One woman, who was apparently the manager had a mask hanging from one of her ears but didn't have it on. Terrible, horrible, awful experience and I will never return to this UHaul location.

When returning our truck after hours, then trying to complete the return process on my phone, your link wouldn't work properly, it kept saying to turn on my location services on my phone, which was already on, I was there much too long trying to remedy this problem and at the end of our exhausting moving day was quite frustrated because I couldn't proceed in completing the return process and had to finally give up, only to find the next morning, it said I had completed it, I was baffled!! I just feel it should've been easier than it was, otherwise no other complaints, and I must say how much we appreciated Nicole Taylor, she was extremely pleasant and efficient, incredible with her multi tasking skills while taking such good care of us, all the while, when she was so busy, she went above and beyond and provided the very best, excellent customer service, we absolutely loved her, Thank you Nicole Taylor!!!👏❤️👏

We got there at 8 am and used Uhaul mobile app to check-in. The experiences in using app was terrible. The app screen had bug so it did not allow us to open the contract to read. We were waiting outside for customer service in a super cold weather until a Uhaul staff arrive for work. The staff was really good but overall it was a terrible experience in using Uhaul app.

My first reservation was made at main street in Everette mass a d when I went to pick up the van place was close , and they forgot to leave the van ready to be picked up soi had to call uhaul to used malden location. Bad reviews for Everette.

My contract agreed to drop off at the Cambridge MA location. When I arrived, they announced they were no longer taking trailers and I was directed to go elsewhere. Very frustrating as a customer to be told I needed to go 40 minutes out of my way to a location that I did not agree to. Very frustrated with the Cambridge Uhaul location.

Nothing! I needed a van or truck for couple hours on Sunday afternoon, August 30th. One of the worst days to find a truck in Boston. I used to live next door to this location in Malden so I decided to stop by and ask anyway. Adriana was so helpful and efficient that I could not believe it. She made this transaction so easy! I really appreciate it. Nicole was very helpful too. Thank you girls to make my moving day easy.

UHaul agent at check in presented a bill much higher than quoted online. I refused it, and checked myself in online at the usual rate. Truck was ok except a very dirty windshield on the inside. It was easier to clean it myself than waste any more time at the Malden location.

Amilcar Ruiz, General Manager, of 124-126 Eastern Ave., Malden, and his staff have been amazing. Amilcar set up our nonprofit with a storage unit for our clothing drive fundraiser and when that one was filled, he gave us another, in exchange for a truck rental. He even coordinated with Luis Cardona, Jr., General Manager, of 420 Eastern Ave., Malden, so that we could have storage units until we deliver the clothing to Savers on August 29. Devine is a member of Amilcar's staff and has also been exceptional. He carried bags from the loading dock to the basement when the elevator was out of order. It was a heavy job on a hot day. It is clear that the staff are well-treated. When staff are respected by their manager, they work efficiently and have a great attitude. Amilcar is to be commended for his excellent management and hands-on assistance of customers. Thank you! Fern

I would not use this facility! They are unprofessional. They broke my locks to my storage and did not inform me that my keys to the new lock were at the front desk. I had to pay a locksmith $125.
