Staff were always very polite and friendly. The facility, however, has extremely poor security and is an easy target for break-ins. Our RV trailer was vandalized twice while stored at the facility, as was all the neighboring RV trailers next to us. The last vandalism to the trailers was extreme. When reported, the staff gave us insurance pamphlets and said they were sorry, and said that it's a problem at that facility. No improvements were ever made, so we really had no choice but to leave.

Our travel,trailer as well as 10 others were broken into by the homeless population. What upset us the most was the fact that none of the employees thought to notify us. We were very fortunate however as ours was one of the smaller ones soother units were more desirable to sleep and eat food in. We did lose some possessions. When we finally heard from the manager in charge, she was very nice. We no longer have our RV there. This seems to be problematic at other storage facilities that are close to Folsom Blvd and the railroad tracks.

The people are great. Responsive, helpful, and pleasant. U-Haul's software app is the worst I have ever used. It's getting better but still at the bottom. Never, ever , have I been able to get checked in and out using it. The worst.

I was paying $139.00/ Month to storage my Motorhome in their yard and I had the catalytiv converter stolen within 2 months of been there I show the staff the condition of the fence around the property, It is Falling apart, they are not even attempting to secure that area and the whole storage looks like a junk yard I have pictures if you want them.

The person working here was helpful but overall U-Haul told me the wrong location after i tried to confirm it multiple times and didn't listen when making the original reservation. Was very unhappy with the service and the customer service. Location was not bad but should have never been sent to this location. Would have been alright if they gave me a discount for them messing up and sending me all over town but will just not use U-Haul in the future and not recommend it to anyone.

Either give the truck to the customer with a Full tank of gas or make sure you explain how to calculate the miles per gallon so we don't over fill and give it back to you with more gas than you gave it to us. Fuel is very expensive and it kind dastardly that you will charge us so much if we return it with less fuel but you won't credit us if we return it with a surplus of fuel.

Staff are friendly but the location is not secure, my car was broken into and the stereo was stolen. I am out of state and nobody even notified me. I know that probably isn't their job but it would seem like a basic courtesy. I asked my parents to check on the vehicle and that is when I found out. Not really sure what I was paying for to be honest. Unless you are storing your car there to abandon it, I would not reccomemnd you use that storage facility.

U haul needs to be more precise on refueling. I was told the fuel tank was full and I drove less than 30 miles so I figured I would fill the tank until it clicked off. I should of only put in a couple of gallons but after 5 gallons I stopped. You need to be able to calculate how many gallons to refuel.

The clerk named Paul gave us an exceptional experience somehow help release tensions of moving in. The offer of a month free storage is a big big big plus factor that I am truly grateful for. Our only negative comment we could make was that there was no warning upon making these reservations that when we arrived (after flying from Phoenix to Sac) to pick up our vehicle we were told we couldn't rent unless we could provide a phone number of someone they could call that would actually answer the phone immediately. We had proper ID and a credit card ... seemed inappropriate and could have been a real problem

The interior of the truck was clean, that's all that really mattered. The employee (Frank) was really great, all employees I encountered were very nice. It was frustrating though, I needed to call there, and could not get through. It was just a recording from Uhaul that went on and on and on, and eventually I just hung up. I just had a quick question and had no way to contact them. Also, when will the amount be updated on my bank account for mileage? I ended up owing less than what was charged and the fee has not changed - there was not a refund to my card.

The Ford model truck has no step running board for the driver or passenger to exit the cab. I have arthritis in my knee, from a military wartime injury, and every time I exited, I had to come down a long drop to the ground with excrutiating pain. My daughter, as passenger, with an athletic physique, also had some difficulty exiting, although she was fastidiously careful. Her final exit before return of the truck, she fell out onto the ground, bumping her head against a curb. She is now bruised in a number of places. Ford should provide a better auxiliary exit step for both driver and passenger. Uhaul should demand this for each truck delivery. It is a liability issue for both UHaul and Ford..

The back of truck had not been swept. The original truck reserved had someone else's lock on it. The truck exterior not clean. What was outstanding is the young man assisting me. Excellent customer service and apologetic for confusion.

Location did a good job but the U-Haul website and checkin process needs and overhaul. I asked for a 6x12 trailer when I called the customer service line. The person who answered the phone obviously had a hard time finding the right combination of tow vehicle and trailer. Because she had a hard time entering the correct information it told her no trailers were available. When we looked on our own the website showed one trailer on hand. Lastly, I wanted to extend my rental time and was forced to call a Call Center for scheduling. I don't want to speak to someone in a call center, I want someone on location who knows their equipment on hand and can assist with my local scheduling needs. Turned out I had to bring the trailer back, check it in, only to rent it again for three days; what a nightmare.

Nothing! The trailer I reserved online wasn't available even though website said it was (someone had extended their trailer rental last minute), and the employees working on Sunday 10/18 fixed the problem by giving me a bigger trailer for the same price to use. Great customer service!!

I made my Reservation pre paid in full and filled out your pre pick up info up loaded my Drivers license a few days before I was to pick up my trailer. The night before the pick up UHaul without a phone call or text canceled my Reservation by Email..I was told it was just a Request not a reservation...as Uhaul did not have a trailer near my location..Uhaul find one 1 hour and 20 minutes away..I was very upset but was stuck and had to take it.....I got up early to make the 2 hour and 40 minute round trip ..and found Uhaul had found me a trailer 20 mins from my location..Trailer was perfect..great job with the customer service to fix my problem.

Generally convenient and helpful staff, but the security could be improved. We had parts and fuel stolen on separate occasions. The fence surrounding the vehicle enclosure is low and easily jumped.

Train your staff. I used the self pickup and had an issue with the alternate phone number. I asked the staff about other options to verify my identity. He very incorrectly said there was no other option. I had to have someone else who could get a hold of me. When I went to drop off my truck I hadn't received an email with any clear instructions on how to self return the truck. The lady inside told me I could go to a specific website to do it or wait for up to an hour to return with them. There was one couple already wrapping up their rental ahead of me... an HOUR to return?!! Seems like the only reasonable option these days is to avoid your staff all together.

I tried using the Share function on my phone and followed the instructions per your App; however, when I got to the part of getting the keys, I couldn't find the keys in the back of the truck. I finally asked one of your employees and he told me that the key was in the office and not in the back of the truck where it was suppose to be. When i returned the truck later that day, an employee said he would be right with me; however, he never came back so i self checked myself out using the App. Other than taking more time in the morning than what I expected, everything else was good.

I was charged $50. for a lost key because I locked the key in the cab at 6:50 AM when I returned the van. I locked it in for safety. The store/office was dark, locked up, with no watchman. We waited for someone...none showed. Now we know there is a key return slot, but it is not near the window or door...it is hidden behind a a big permanent trailer display. We were not told about the return slot, and a cursory look through our forms did not find any mention. I asked that this $50. key fee be reviewed....no response yet. Otherwise, this is a very good, efficient rental place.

I know they cannot control the vandals that came in and broke into locks of mine and multiple RVs, but it did make me want to leave. Maybe not having vehicles right next to the fences so people could easily climb over might help. Or higher fences. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to help.

The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous but they are often understaffed. The same person is moving trucks in the parking lot, installing hitches on cars, checking people into new storage units and selling merchandise in the store. Seems like a lot for one person at a time and I doubt they're making enough money to compensate. Please take care of your employees!
