The staff at this location were so helpful and nice. I’ve done a lot of moving with UHaul storage rentals and trucks, the experience at this store was the best I’ve ever had. They work really hard there….

The interior of the truck wasn't clean. Bits of dirty, branches, and sand littered both drivers and passengers floor mats. The multi-level center console had trash in it, as well as a previous renters rental agreement. The exterior had tar splatter in areas. Still very sticky. The cargo bed had A LOT of it! I didn't see it as the bed liner is black, but when loading, and when the sun came out, the tar got very soft. Fortunately I had a tarp to protect the kitchen cabinets I needed the truck for, but now the tarp is trash.

i often come here to rent or return, i guess today was too hot and no male staff present like they use to have the guys there attending to clients as soon as you pull up to drop off, today was different it took longer than usual to have someone out, a lady came to assist so I just disconnected the trailer and she completed the return.

Every time I walk in for service it's a 15-30 minute wait. When I arrived two people were helping one person. I was not even acknowledged as I stood waiting for 15 minutes before I asked if maybe one of them could help me (since there were two people). I understand the situation was difficult, but then I was treated rudely (by one person) for even asking to be acknowledged... this is not the first time.

The hardships I have been through for the last 6 weeks, the toxicity i had to walk away from, the uhaul team knew it, were the absolute best and caring. I was having a panic attack as I was finishing up the entire transaction and the understanding, the patience, the compassion is something I have never experienced before, Kira and the entire team deserve a huge shout out, raise, and to know that the kindness and compassion gave hope to a woman and a puppy dog to keep going

Unfortunately the only not inconvenient things are the prices they're not comparable to other storage companies. And the as the halls are very well light once I was in my unit it wasn't very good lighting only lighting was from the hall. All of the employees were extremely helpful and had extremely excellent customer service. Kiara Edward and Kloe always went above and beyond to help me in any way necessary.

Mills Station was great, though farther from my house than I would have liked! I would suggest never using the Manzanita location in Carmichael! I made reservation there and when I arrived at the time for pickup, the had rented the van I reserved and it was not back yet! Therefore I had to make the longer drive to Mills Station to get the van!! Needless to say I was not a happy camper!!

When I was returning tryck I put fuel was at 6percent I left the full woth 13 miles to empty and I received the truck 3miles to empty when I finished my return the fuel went to 0 percent someone needs to correct the mistake this app made.

The employee that checked us in was very friendly and professional. We were then sent out to go find the truck and do an inspection of any existing damage ourselves using a link that was texted. The link to the site did not work correctly and just kept spinning. When returning the truck, we had to wait for quite a while for assistance and the person that was inspecting the vehicle rather than asking for assistance to start the truck etc. treated us as if we were employees and started telling us what to do as if giving orders. The return inspection included the lights and signals which were not a part of the inspection instructions when checking it out. Overall, it was not a very good customer service experience.

The only thing that would make it better is the power gate opening all the way as it's a very tight turn to get to the storage units on the left. I had to back the 20 foot uhaul truck up three times to make the turn without hitting something.

Staff at Mills Station location in Sacramento are ALL very helpful and friendly. This was the BEST UHaul rental location I have ever used. I rented a Uhaul 20’ truck as a one-way, picked up from a private biz (not an actual Uhaul service center), then got a storage unit at Mills Stn for the 1st time. I would go out of my way to go to this location again.

So upon moving out yesterday I ask if the large door could be open. The agent says he didn’t think so and took me to the manager. She was rude and very short. The reply was “I don’t even know where the key is” My take away was I’d hired moving helpers and time is of the essence. I didn’t have much more other than to ask if it was ok to leave the door propped open and again found he to be snarky. I have used the unit for 2 years and this didn’t make me feel as a valued customer

Our food truck was vandalized causing about $1500 in damage . staff didn’t seem to care and was kicked out due to a few flat tires on our unit even though dues were paid in full . Zero security for your equipment seems like vandals have there way with damaging equipment. Being we own a catering company literally a few blocks over we used to spend thousands a year in propane service and we decided to go elsewhere due to the very unfriendly - newer management we miss Jessica she was the best . I rented a unit for 3 months and visited at least 5 times. Why I say it is not well maintained: The large automatic door with no threshold plate closest to my unit was almost always "broken". Made it difficult to get in and out physically, and twice had to wait for an available staff person to open the garage doors. I didn't like that I couldn't just get in and out without having to find someone.

We had a problem with our online order...The staff at this location was not only professional, but very well adapted for their job in all areas. The staff was able to function with a great degree of emotional intelligence even when problems were presented to them that were to no fault of their own, as in navigating the online system for customers. The overall experience was quick & straightforward. Our only complaint would be that the staff person at the front desk asked us to create our personal code while other customers were in ear shot, so we declined. We're glad the option to do it later was available.

Staff was great and helpful. Facility is just what I was looking for. I was a little disappointed when I was told that having a reservation didn't guaranty me a space for my motorhome, a space was not waiting for me but I lucked out that someone had just vacated a spot.

When I first showed up the lady at counter checking me in would talk very rudely to other customers when they came in and said it's gonna be a 20 min wait. Then after a week of my truck being there it got broken into and vandalized. When I took my equipment out being there only over a week I did not even get a refund. I will definitely share this on social media and youtube. U-Hauls lot is not secure. They have surveillance but had me park my truck where surveillance couldn't see my truck.

I am filling this out based on an employee named Ariella and I will also be emailing Uhaul corporate offices. The experience we walked into was absolutely ridiculous! This lady (named Ariella because I finally asked the employee trying to help us to write her name down) was rude, so rude that my adult children and myself were uncomfortable. We shouldn't have to listen to an employee leave an approximately three-minute-long rude voicemail talking completely down to someone about parking in the wrong spot at the facility. Meanwhile, the gal named Lya was trying her best to keep peace in the office and got to a spot where she needed assistance with our storage. This went on for quite a while in which another customer came in and was "snapped" in rude tones saying to her that she was busy and would help her when she was finished. This was fine, however, the tone used was extremely rude, not to mention this lady had still not helped our situation and by now it was 6:00 pm and the facility was to close at 7:00 pm. Lya asked for assistance again from Ariella and was told to wait (despite the fact that we should have been done and on our way) - we were not a priority. Lya asked if we could start unloading the uhaul while waiting and Ariella snapped - NO not if the order isn't complete. At this point, Ariella was just sitting there and Lya got frustrated and had to leave the office to try and call the store manager for help with our storage. We were further disgusted when Ariella got up from behind the desk (still not helping us) and scuffed at my 26-year-old daughter with an attitude. NOT OK! We had just spent three days on the road and to be treated like this was awful. By the time it got figured out, the time was 6:30 pm and Lya quickly opened the large door so we could unload by 7:00 pm. Next thing I knew was Ariella came stomping out with an attitude for NO REASON and stated - JUST SO YOU KNOW I AM CLOSING THAT AT 6:45 pm. At this point, I wanted to lose my mind on this woman, but luckily my focus was on getting as much of the Uhaul in 15 minutes as we could. First, I would like to say that even my 21-year-old son stated that it was a good thing that Lya was there trying her best to put out fires because I would have not gone as well for Ariella. Secondly, we will be getting a different storage unit in the near future and not recommending the facility. Thirdly, we were there when the call came in that this Ariella actually had left the horrendous phone call erroneously. I could go on but will say lastly that this experience was supposed to be pleasant and it wasn't. After she had the nerve to stall our interactions, we had to wait until after it was locked at 7:00 pm for another 15 minutes for the alarm to set. In the meantime, two other customers tried to come to the facility to drop off stuff in their storage and were turned away. The sign says 24-hour access, but that is not entirely true. Overall, WORST experience with Uhaul, and we will not use it again. With that being said, this employee Lya deserves a medal as she held it together incredibly well.

The one downside I found was that my unit was on the second story and there isn’t a service elevator to help get heavy items up and down, forcing you to use the stairs..not the safest/most efficient. The plus side however, was the unit was very clean and was a better price then other units I had looked into.

The facility had short fences. Broken fences. Not enough cameras. The employees told us they never walk around and check the cars out. They are not liable for anything lost or stolen, or thefts they say. Homeless drug addicts a Hang out where the fence was broken I’m the back by my car. My car was vandalized numerous times. Someone stole a lot out of it. They wouldn’t credit me anything for my trouble.

I have used uhaul for a number of years in different states and this is the first time I've felt the need to write a bad review. My car was damaged on the property due to negligence on uhaul's part. I paid for car storage and after 5 weeks of being away I came back to a big dent in the top of my car. It was obviously from something being dropped on it. Uhaul has been doing work under the awing that my car my under and never made sure the contractors were using protection for people's cars in case something was dropped. They honestly didn't care about the damage and said they weren't responsible for it since they say you rent here at your own risk. They have also had break ins into RVs. I would NOT leave your vehicle here.

Lots of break-ins. My trailer was broken into twice in just 10 months. 5 trailers in total broken into the same day my trailer was broken into. Uhaul management did not reach out to me to inform me if the re-occuring break-ins. Never received apology from Uhaul. Staff were always very polite and friendly. The facility, however, has extremely poor security and is an easy target for break-ins. Our RV trailer was vandalized twice while stored at the facility, as was all the neighboring RV trailers next to us. The last vandalism to the trailers was extreme. When reported, the staff gave us insurance pamphlets and said they were sorry, and said that it's a problem at that facility. No improvements were ever made, so we really had no choice but to leave.

Our travel,trailer as well as 10 others were broken into by the homeless population. What upset us the most was the fact that none of the employees thought to notify us. We were very fortunate however as ours was one of the smaller ones soother units were more desirable to sleep and eat food in. We did lose some possessions. When we finally heard from the manager in charge, she was very nice. We no longer have our RV there. This seems to be problematic at other storage facilities that are close to Folsom Blvd and the railroad tracks.

Staff are friendly but the location is not secure, my car was broken into and the stereo was stolen. I am out of state and nobody even notified me. I know that probably isn't their job but it would seem like a basic courtesy. I asked my parents to check on the vehicle and that is when I found out. Not really sure what I was paying for to be honest. Unless you are storing your car there to abandon it, I would not reccomemnd you use that storage facility.

The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous but they are often understaffed. The same person is moving trucks in the parking lot, installing hitches on cars, checking people into new storage units and selling merchandise in the store. Seems like a lot for one person at a time and I doubt they're making enough money to compensate. Please take care of your employees!

Service excellent, but billing department deducted anther months rent from my account in error after unit 1303 vacated early. That cost me over draft charge, $20. Please fix it!!

It said that you had cameras and every thing was secure but within the last couple months my trailer was broken to twice without you knowing or seeing it. The manager didn't care or show up.
