Help customers more by respecting physical distancing. I did the rental through the mobile app so that I could minimize my contact with people. I was going to put the key in the key box when an employee came up to me to receive the key and didn’t respect a 6 foot distance.

Have the truck at the address people choose to pick up from. 24 hrs after booking I got an email confirmation that I had to drive over 30 minutes to pick it up when I chose a site 5 minutes from my apartment. HUGE inconvenience!!! Fix the website to reflect ONLY addresses that have said size truck people are requesting!!!!

I rented a 6x12 cargo trailer and it was the perfect piece of equipment I needed for the task at hand. It was in excellent condition and working order. I have to say that the young man who helped me today, I believe his name is Kenneth, was exceptional. I had trouble doing a self return about 20 minutes after the Mills Station location had closed. Luckily, Kenneth was still there and took the time to help me check out even after he'd been clocked out for the day. Kenneth's work should not go unnoticed. After a long day of moving, he saved me a lot of headache and trouble when he didn't have to. Big thanks!

If returning to U-Haul location of original rental is would be nice to have something like a flat tire to be fixed on site instead of waiting for an hour for road side service. Store was for helpful in contacting roadside for me. The Manager Jessica was very polite and helpful.

Do not change managers. Miss Jessica is an Angel from up above. My mom passedpassed n she opened her heart and comfort me n a time of need. Meant soooo much to me. As busy as she be she went beyond. Have employee perform check in and take photos and perform other laborious WORK tasks such as hanging up the phone and helping the customer without being rude. Thank you for not doing anything about this. Corporations are all dependable thieves. You haul my dignity away from me for 93 cents a mile.

Person who checked us in and gave is the trailer can benefit with an attitude adjustment. He was rude and arrogant. The person that received the trailer when we were done was great.

I was told it was $5.00 a gal if I didn't refuel the truck. I drove about $20.00 & maybe used 3 gals. I figured for a couple bucks more than refueling myself I would let you do it. Then they tell me when I drop the truck off there is a $30.00 service fee. That's not right....

The smell was so bad in the cab from someone smoking that I had to keep the windows open during the drive to my house and all night. It was the worst truck or car I have ever been in. It ran well but my clothes had to be washed they smelled so bad after I had driven the truck. The service from the personnel, however, was excellent.

One person on site trying to do too many jobs. Went to rent trailer, no one at desk, had to search the lot. Attendant did hook up trailer, though. When returning trailer, again no one at desk, had to go look for attendant. He was installing hitch on truck. Didn't offer to check me in, didn't disconnect trailer. I disconnected trailer and told him to email me receipt.

The car hauler was dirty but that was fine. It was the ratcheting strap that gave me the issue. Too much dirt in the mechanism. Should be cleaned a lubricated periodically.

My reservation was changed twice on the day of my rental due to inventory issues at different locations. There has to be a better way for your system to monitor and predict inventory more accurately.

For me everything was great. when i rented the vehicle, the clerk was friendly, helpful and efficient. When i returned the vehicle, even though it was a different clerk, still friendly and helpful. Everything went surprisingly smooth and uneventful

The guy that hooked the trailer up using our trailer hitch and hook up equipment either forgot to hook the clip into the pin securely or not at all. We could have lost the whole trailer on the freeway. When we discovered the error, we borrowed a clip and pin to secure the trailer. We had to buy another clip and pin when we returned the trailer so we had it the next time we rent a trailer from UHaul. The person that checked the trailer back in was very apologetic and professional. I would use this location again, but I will check to make sure the trailer is securely hooked up correctly.

Don't change the workers or manager, Miss Jessica. Been using this particular Uhaul since i moved here in. 1996. She have ALWAYS wears a smile. Very professional and informative of her job, courteous and makes you feel welcome. I alwaya refer my friends to Matherfield station Uhal. UHAUL IS THE BEST!!! I will continue until i no longer need storage.

Check in and check out was quick and friendly. The facility was clean and in good order. The truck I got was OLD, lots of scratches and seriously sounded like it was on its last leg. People turned their heads to look when I drove by. It was ok for my purposes, but I hope nobody has to take a long trip in it. At check in, your website wouldn't let me upload my pictures for truck condition or gas tank level. I don't like this method of check-in. My fault - I lost the keys and had to pay to have a locksmith to come out to make a new one. When I originally tried to request roadside assistance, your website wouldn't detect my location and there was nowhere to enter my physical address. I called the rental location, since I was only about a mile from it, and was immediately told that I would have to use roadside assistance, and was then promptly disconnected when she said she was transferring me. I called roadside assistance myself, was informed that lost keys are a customer responsibility and would need to have a locksmith come out to make a new one. The CS rep from roadside assistance did look up locksmiths in my area and called me back with some possibilities. I ended up researching this and using my own. My issues with this scenario (Note: I do take responsibility for losing the keys): 1) From start to finish, getting in touch with roadside assistance was about 40 minutes, because of the website issues that I kept trying to figure out, and the rental location being unable or unwilling to help me. 2) When I called the rental location, I was IMMEDIATELY directed to roadside assistance, even though I told them that I was very close to their location. To me, this indicates that the rep I was on the phone with did not bother to look to see if there was an extra key, or there was no extra key. Either scenario should be concerning. Note that I would have been very willing to pay an additional fee to cover having an extra key cut from an existing one (which I cannot fathom a vehicle rental place not having). However, I ended up paying $100 to have a locksmith come out to make one from scratch, and spent about three hours (almost a half work day) getting this issue resolved. In this respect, I am probably lucky that I had an old truck and didn't have to get a newer, more expensive key made. I feel like many of the issues I had, could have been avoided with better and more compassionate customer service at the rental location. That being said, this was an unfortunate event, and I am still likely to use UHaul in the future. I have been a long-time customer and will probably continue to be.

Kenny was great, there was irate customer in the store trashing the place and he kept his cool, called the police and somehow continued to get me on the road in a shirt time. Even when the computer system was messing up and he had to reach out to tech support. Pure professionalism.

Our new boat was broken into. We rented a covered space. Thought it was secure. But it wasn't. Somebody jumped the fence and stole stuff. We moved out immediately. Need deterrent. Grounds dirty.
