ANDREW LI tried the online check-in, but if the location is open, checking in directly at the counter is so much easier. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I checked in and when I dropped off. My U-Haul was in decent shape. Good enough for what I needed it for. Great experience overall.
Khanh PYou need to change all the staff there- they are horrible - lazy - rude - loud etc Where should I start ? 1. I had a reservation for a 15’ truck and I got both a text and call to confirm - when I spoke to the person I asked them if I could pick it up at noon instead of 10 am - “sure no problem” 2. When I got there the guy could not find my reservation so when I showed him the confirmation he said well we cancelled it because you didn’t show up on time so now he has to start it “all over” like I was making him work so hard 3. So after I get the keys he doesn’t even take the trouble to walk out there - he just points out in the parking lot and said it’s one of them and let him know of I have any questions 4. So I get the truck and pull out of the parking lot but something felt weird - so I compared the contract with the actual mileage and gas level And it was all wrong - it had over 22 more miles on it than the contract - so I was being charged about $20 more before I even started the truck - plus the fuel level on the contract said 3/4 but it was actually just 1/2. 4. I immediately turned around and went back to the store and told him this - he didn’t even bother to go outside to confirm 5. But instead he complained that he was as going to have to cancel this contract and start from scratch all over again 6. I asked him so “it’s my fault” ? And he just. Rolled his eyes 7. So instead of doing it “right” the guy said that he’s not going to go to all the trouble but if I want to then I should get on my computer or the App and do it myself 8. Otherwise he will just remember me when I come back 9. So now when I come back and turn in the truck the same guy is there but he is screaming on the phone to a customer - I just could not believe it 10, I asked the other girl who was there if she remembered me and she shook her head and said that “you are good to go” 11. I really don’t think I really was really good to go because they didn’t give me a receipt or even go out to check the mileage , gas, etc 12. Wow - I’m glad I don’t run my business this way

Carlos CMade a reservation only to be told at pickup that they only had local trailers. Told me I was going to have to drive 30 min to another location. Manager finally decided to go look at inventory and found it. A 10 min pickup turned into an hour.

scott bThe manager was extremely rude to the customers (yelling, attitude, etc.) Originally he denied my reservation due to a non-operating truck blocking the 26ft. that I had already reserved. After his nice employee asked another representative to jump the truck, they were able to honor my reservation. I was there for over an over an hour waiting in line + put to the side with limited updates. Overall, I’m happy that I was able to get the truck but probably wouldn’t come back to this location. The lady that checked me out as extremely nice and super helpful too!

Andre Nthe sign at drop off said to wait by the vehicle and an attendant would come help me. This did not happen; I had to walk into the store and talk with staff before I could drop off.
Jeff WI had reserved online with a drop location. During the checkout process, the return location was moved to a place about 15 miles further without explanation. The allowed milage was too short to get me from the rental location to home and to return location, so I had a mileage charge. No idea how the allowed milage was determined, and it was not mentioned in the on-line booking. (this is more of a U-haul booking issue over the local store)
Richard BI only needed the trailer for two hours but had to pay for the day. The thing about needing a plug for the electricity, sticks, its just an add-on for expensive equipment. It should be included or at least mentioned with the paperwork instead of after the trailer is already on the ball.

Jose CThe van we reserved had a back door malfunction that we were not aware of during the reservation process, after the confirmation we checked it and it was not opening at one side and the worker told us “Ammm sorry it’s on me” with no actual actions. At that point we were so frustrated and we just needed to take it as we have no other options as we are moving out. Please inform customers about any problems when they are reserving a van before they are actually in the problem. Thanks BA

MAURICIO Bit took 3 different trucks to find one in working order, rude staff on check in and check out and told her about a price advertised difference and was met with scorn ( deciding to see if I want to take to small claims on the matter); no check back on issues of subleasing rental space; accidentally locked key in cab within 2 blocks of facility and they did not have 2nd key, wanted $200 for lock smith fee ( cost $50 when ordered on my own); parking and service is a nightmare at the Memorial location; DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR THE U HAUL CALL IN SERVICES AT ALL, NEVER, EVER!

SHOAIB NUpon arrival, I wasn't greeted warmly, however it was early in the morning so I would like to give the first employee I met the benefit of doubt that she was still waking up. Aside from that, the main concern I'd like to note is that I booked a Van-- the contract for this van was written by the first employee I saw with seemingly no issues, however, when I went to turn the vehicle on, the tire pressure was extremely low on one of the tires. I went back to the counter and met with a second employee about the tire who informed me that the tire on that van was low since the day before and that unfortunately the only other van they had on the property had a malfunctioned door.. I found it frustrating that there was no acknowledgement that this information should have been shared with me upon booking the van with the first employee. Either she knew and did not care to address it or the staff failed to communicate with one another, so I had to wait another 20-30 minutes to have the first contract terminated and to book another larger vehicle. The booking staff treated it as a seemingly small detail, but on the customers end it's a waste of time and having zero acknowledgment of the miscommunication was frustrating for me. The second employee was, however, proactive enough to help us fix the problem, and from then, we had no further issues. The rest of the employee interactions and return process was very pleasant.

While the manager was very helpful, the ladies at the front desk were rude and showed a lack of respect for customers. One of them, in particular, treated me terribly. When I asked for information about the contract, she rolled her eyes and responded in a very disrespectful manner. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. I trust this issue will be addressed, as I believe the facility has great potential. Thank you for your time and consideration.

When moving in I was so stressed out that day, nothing was going according to plan, that wasn’t even the location I pick first but honestly I’m glad they picked it for me, Emmanuel was welcoming from the very beginning. He informed me about the insurance, the ins and outs of the gated area, when to expect the bill all while he was the only employee inside the store taking calls and letting other customers know he’ll be with them in a moment. When closing it was pretty quick and he let me know they always have storage available in case I ever need it.
