I experienced very friendly service. The young lady who assisted me was very knowledgeable and quickly got me processed and into the truck I needed. It had been a while since I rented a U Haul vehicle so had not used the apps before. The license capture and truck inspection apps were very easy to use and made me feel confident that the Vehcile condition was properly documented. My only suggestion is that the location offer a bit more space for customer parking.

Clear instructions for dropping off equipment. Outdoor sign said to stay in the equipment and an employee would come out to handle drop off. But no one came out. I had to go into the Customer Service area to complete drop off.

The woman working inside was extremely rude. We had a dolly on our reservation and she told us they didn’t have any available which I did not understand when I reserved one. When I asked if we could not use the ones inside the store she said yes we could. She then proceeded to ring us up and I inquired about the cost as it was not what it said online. She then stated the dolly was $19.99 which I said was only $7 online and she very rudely said “you’re buying that one” and I explain I did not want to buy one that we only needed to rent the dolly for this trip. She again was extremely rude and said we could not do that and they didn’t have any to use.

U-Haul Mem City was just fine, no issues with them. Major issue on the end of the 1 way trip, as U-Haul Baton Rouge began texting me and calling me 1 day AFTER I returned the truck in Baton Rouge. They texted and called to tell me to return the truck to a DIFFERENT LOCATION than what was printed on my contract. I had to call them 3 times, holding for 30 then 25 minutes until FINALLY getting a person on the phone. They assured me "no problem, we'll make sure you are not charged extra for this." What?!? Why would that even happen, as I returned the truck almost 24 hrs before all their messages with a new drop off location. Well, guess what? They tried to charge me $121 for "transport" fees AFTER this. Not going to happen and that fraudulent charge will NOT be paid. Do better, U-Haul.

Employees have a bad attitude talking about the two females and one of the employees didn’t want to get out the chair for me to use another machine to swipe my credit cards. I used three different cards and I told her something was wrong with that machine & I had almost went back home to get another card but before I left I asked her again can we try a different machine & it worked.

The lady that didnt greet us was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be working. Overall was just very unpleasant and at times down right rude. I have used this U-haul last year and spoke with the owner/manager the last time and he was super nice guy. I did not appreciate this lady at all, she was not helpful or friendly.

With the exception of one of your employees who wears glasses the other two employees are not helpful and became exasperated when I asked questions.
With regard to the truck rental itself, the truck I was originally assigned had an overstated fuel reading on the paperwork and the warning light for tire pressure was lit.
When I reported it to the employee she said she could adjust the fuel reading in the system but that the tires looked fine, it was probably an issue with the warning light not working properly and that many of the trucks have this problem.
When I said I wanted a different truck because I was concerned that if the warning light is I wouldn’t know if there was a problem with the tires and could have a blowout. She pushed back saying that since I had purchased Save Move, I would receive roadside assistance, ignoring not only the safety concern, but also a potentially unnecessary inconvenience that could have been prevented.
She finally agreed to assign me another vehicle but was annoyed that I asked for the printout showing the mileage and fuel reading for the new truck. When I asked her to show me where the newly assigned truck was located, she didn’t bother leaving the counter and said it’s in back with the other trucks.
The added hassle which set me back by another I was on a tight moving schedule and this ordeal delayed me by 20 mins. I understand that occasionally trucks have to be reassigned due to unforeseen mechanical issues but the entire process was difficult and no concessions or apologies were offered.
I will not rent from this location again.

The manager was not nice to me. Refused to allow me to drop off trailer. He yelled at me. I showed him the contract. He walked away and told me to find a U-Haul location to drop it off at.
A subordinate named eric Torres helped me. He apologized for the managers behavior. He was really a good guy. Can you call me? This was a very bad experience. 518-389-8496

My rating for the storage facility is primarily due the customer service, the issue lies with the staff. While the manager was very helpful, the ladies at the front desk were rude and showed a lack of respect for customers. One of them, in particular, treated me terribly. When I asked for information about the contract, she rolled her eyes and responded in a very disrespectful manner. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. I trust this issue will be addressed, as I believe the facility has great potential. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Maybe a new regional manager would be a good start. Like the old site manager who didnt care about site security by not not making it a priority to fix or replace the Main gate drive up gate.
Uhaul corp called me with a "great deal" so i said yes! Well just like all great deals that seem to good to be true well they are not.
its not corporate fault that they see a rental coming up in a couple of days and sell it to someone on the list who wants to buy. Nor can a branch tell a renter to be out on a specific day.
in other words i got screwed

Emmanuel was the one who took care of me when I first got the storage and also the one who closed the account with me. When moving in I was so stressed out that day, nothing was going according to plan, that wasn’t even the location I pick first but honestly I’m glad they picked it for me, Emmanuel was welcoming from the very beginning. He informed me about the insurance, the ins and outs of the gated area, when to expect the bill all while he was the only employee inside the store taking calls and letting other customers know he’ll be with them in a moment. When closing it was pretty quick and he let me know they always have storage available in case I ever need it.

I’m using CubeSmart off of Westheimer and Dunvale I started at $246 and on my third month they raised it $100 WTF good thing I’m getting out of there it was just temporary but still that space goes for around 500 at other CubeSmart‘s WTF they tell me it’s supply and demand well I demand they keep the price at $246 lol😂

I have been a customer of this location for many years dating back to when Mary Christian was there. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. Any minor problems always quickly addressed. Staff was always accommodating and tried to meet my schedule. Most recently, Mike, Roger, Vicki, & Wes have been great to work with. I would quickly recommend this location to anyone.

It took me three visits to get someone to help me cancel my storage. I went during office hours but the door would be locked or there would be no one in the office to help.
I realize these are strange times. Parking is very difficult there now if you need to go in for supplies.

The door to the storage facility was not functioning properly, which I reported to management but they never did anything about it. I moved out of the unit at the end of April and continued to receive payment notices and then late payment notices until last week. Very poorly run facility. I would not recommend.
