I used the self-checkout on Sunday (the location was open) so i had little interaction with the staff. Unfortunately, i drove off with the key to the van and realized it and returned it 30 minutes later. The staff was gracious.

The location and the truck were fine, the price and availability of the truck I needed, the lack of service despite paying so much service fees is insane and I’ll unlikely ever use U-Haul again. The fact that I had to download an app to turn the truck in, fold the blankets I paid a lot of money to use, take pictures of the truck at all angles, sweep, put gas in, the list goes on. I paid so much money for “service fees” but I felt like I was paying you so I could do your job. Terrible business model and I’ll never use you again. Also I ended up having to pay more money because the 15’ truck I reserved was not available so I had to rent a20’. Completely wack.

I called and store employee stated there were no trailers to rent. I literally hung up and called the u haul line and the representative stated there were trailers at that location. I told him my situation he put me on hold and called up there and then told me he was sorry but he didn't know why those guys told me that. He reserved my trailer and it was good. Local store guys basically lied to me.

Trailer was full of roofing shingle pebbles and dirt and had not been cleaned or blown out before I got it. I spent 10 minutes with a blower and broom cleaning it myself before I loaded it. Have rented there before and it's usually fine.

The truck door had a missing cable. I was unable to open the door when I got the truck home. Total it took 3.5 hours to get someone out to come fix the door. I was not able to move as much stuff as I had wanted to move when I had the rental due to having to wait on the door repair.

Justin and the staff did an excellent job. He was very courteous, respectful and Knowledgeable. He assisted us in making sure our trip was safe. He rechecked and explained each part of the process. He pointed out best practices and lessons learned. Uhaul should Justin as a trainer.

My pick up time was at 745 did not leave with vehicle untill 10pm had to call multiple times before we were properly helped. On the return we arrived at 7.10 did not leave until 754 due to mileage errors. I was charged 28 extra which I completely understand but I don't believe I should have been charged so much if we were not able to pick up due to errors on customer service side and still had trouble dropping off,and when at the location pick up I asked the employees for help and they said NO!!

When I returned my Truck the guy didn’t even check it in to check the mileage or anything cause I kn I didn’t use 15 miles he just walked up and walked away from it I think the need to actually check to make sure everything is good and there was no dolly on the truck I had to go back and get one poor service

The vehicle was hard to drive. It pulled hard to the left the entire drive. Wore me out and was a safety concern. Checked the tire pressure on all tires and met standards therefore it was an alingment issue.

The on-site Staffs in both Amarillo and Midland are awesome. Used three locations in the past year. The help I received from the Corporate level over the phone, not so much. Will be renting a 15 foot truck in August, to complete my move from Amarillo to Midland. Hope it all goes as well. Been using Uhaul for 45 years, loyal customer. Hasn't always been easy, but it does always work out.

The two times I used them I had reserved my rentals. Both times they completely changed what o had reserved to something that was twice as expensive. When something is reserved online I expect it to be what I’m getting: midland uhaul is screwing people just because they work in the oil field and assume everyone has a pile of money. Never again....
