Overall this location and the Canal St/Teall Ave location, in Syracuse, NY, have been very good to me. The staff here are normally very attentive and receptive to customer concerns, inquiries, and needs. Unfortunately, the overall performance of the team here is not reflective of the leadership. The manager at this location, I believe his name begins with G, is completely disconnected with the customer base and the overall concept of customer service. It seems as if customers are a burden to him, in fact, he often tries to redirect business to surrounding stores. Even more discerning is his regular practice of asking how long you will need the vehicle, and still proceeding to schedule it to be returned at the end of the current day. He has done this to me on multiple occasions, and shows no remorse or sympathy when asked/confronted about it. If you review my account, I rent from you all very often. If looked more critically at my transaction history, you'll see that I've gone through this scenario on more than one occasion. Consequently, most of these occurrences were at the hands of this man. Please do something to adjust or rectify this, as I am getting close to just adding another vehicle to my fleet and washing my hands of U-Haul completely. I rent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of service from you, and right now w don't feel as if my hard earned money is appreciated. I rented a 26ft truck and a cargo van within two days from this location. the large truck had a pair of disposable gloves in the drink holder and bits and pieces of metal and plastic as well as paperwork from a car dealership in the back. The cargo van had used surgical masks over the drivers visor that fell out onto me, and an energy drink can wedged in the wall of the van. The staff was very friendly, and nice.

When I returned Uhaul, I went into store bc I wasn't told to park it on return side. The gentlemen had his head down at the desk, like he was sleeping. I had to wait a couple min to get his attention. Very unprofessional . The lady next to him, said park off on other side of building. I wasn't happy cause I was late to my appt! I will not be using your facilty again or recommending anyone.

The manager walked pasted me when coming to get the cargo van said he would be right with me and left . Got in his car and left . An associate came in to return keys asked if he was helping me cause he left . That was really unprofessional.

When I got into the truck, the notice said low front tire. The gentleman came out and checked the tires and told me to take another truck. He did the whole check-in for me, which I appreciated because it was COLD outside. The other employee came out when we drove up to return the truck in a timely fashion. BOTH of the employees were kind and caring and efficient.

Two of the people in the office were not wearing masks! One was completely off, and other half off. Upon return, they didn't tell me I needed a picture of the fuel gauge, even though I brought in a fuel receipt ( I only drove 7 miles) The truck, and the online rental otherwise was great

When checking in, service was great. But found the van dirty, inside windshield had something dripping down on it. The consol also was dirty with same substance. Returning the van, the inside man was rude, short when I asked a question, and very unprofessional. He also was complaininging about other employees in front of me.

Have the actual mileage I received the truck on 7/8 to full wasn't able to disapprove on the cell phone. Also the location closed before scheduled time I saw a women working peek while I was knocking I could see her reflection and then walk away all she had to suggest was dropping the key in the drop box or let me know they closed early for the evening.

Equipment was not clean ... truck wasn't washed in days , bugs splattered all over windshield. Seat was dirty , I had to sit on a sheet I brought just in case. Staff however was accommodating.

Only issue I had was with the fuel situation. The vehicle required "E 85" fuel, but the 1st few gas stations I went to didn't have that available. I feel like a customer shouldn't have to search around a town to find the type of fuel compatible with the vehicle. But everything else was great.

Representatives were rude and not friendly. One representative charged my credit card instead of refunding my money for returned boxes. Never using this service ever again!

I would have rated this poor if it wasn't for the nice gentlemen that came to my rescue and helped me load my furniture blankets and dolly. The lady checking me in was rude and inattentive. She got visibly angry when I didn't take the insurance after, she ignored me while checking me on to deal with another issue even though their were 3 other employees dealing with it. She gave me unclear instructions on where to find my truck. When I came back in (very frustrated) not being able to locate it with her unclear instructions, she had a smile on her face, like my frustration was entertainment for her. Also, not enough parking, for cars, or returning equipment after hours. Also, did not have my furniture dolly I reserved. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

There is a woman in this location that you might need to adjust her behavior, she is kind of rude, speaks so fast and doesn't care about customers, when you talk to her you feel like you are begging her for service, she does not have any communication skills at all. I will never go to this location because her. I don't remember her name but (no offense) she is big white woman in her 40's I guess.

The original Reservation I made on line and was an option to select was #:27017487, Preferred Pick Up Location:Caseys 20 Eaton St Morrisville, NY 13408 Pick Up Date:Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Imagine my surprise when I showed up at this location and the person that did the UHAUL rental isn't there and hasn't been in over a year, yet the website still shows this location. I mean really over a year!!! Apparently I received a text (that I did not see) sending me 45 minutes further in the wrong direction in which I was moving to pick up another truck. Terrible. I had to cancel this reservation and scramble to find another truck, I had help waiting to move and no truck, awful and stressful. Wasted half of the day just getting a truck. The Erie Blvd Location is how all U-Haul places should be clean, helpful and ready to go.

Well, the 10ft truck that i rented had no pull out ramp. Would be nice if the company can find a Way to add one. I must mention that your GM DON, was very knowledgeable, professional & customer service like. Very rarely, will u find a GM who's covering all parts of this kind of work. Tammy (manager), Mark(manager), Jerome (moving crew chief) , and the moving crew were great. The crew moved some awkward/heavy but delicate furniture from an existing unit to a new one to allow for proposed renovations. The scheduling/ coordination was seamless and prompt. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Many thanks to all. (My only suggestion is that the crew wear masks.)

I regret not shopping around before placing my belongings in storage. There are ground level units which can be accessed 24/7 elsewhere. This is a very old warehouse with only one elevator.
