I arrived at the location to return my van 15 minutes before they closed. The doors were locked. There were several other customers outside trying to get in. After realizing that no one would open the door I had to use the online return option. It probably took me 30 minutes to return the rental, very inconvenient. They should not close early.

Nobody did a walk-around of the van with me to check for damage at the time of pickup and nobody informed me that I would be receiving a text message about this issue at that time. I didn't see the text message until I had already driven the van off the lot. This should have been done at the time of pickup to avoid any potential disputes. Otherwise, the location was friendly and professional.

I regret not shopping around before placing my belongings in storage. There are ground level units which can be accessed 24/7 elsewhere. This is a very old warehouse with only one elevator.

Decided to carry my items down 3 flights of stairs in 4 trips. Large U haul truck was "using" the elevator but never saw anything move during my hour of carrying my items downstairs.

I reserved a dolly but the movers did not use it.The seal was not broken and i sent a photo to show this when i returned the truck. I have called customer service 3times and Store mgr.2times to request a refund resulting In no return call or credit. The truck was almost on e,the stripping was hanging off the driver's side door and i had a difficult time trying to close the back of the truck.

the lead guy, short, pudgy with a full beard was not friendly at all. it was as if i was bothering him..wth? another gentleman came into work and greeted me, he is a short, slight build african american guy. he was very polite and professional!

The check-in guy was amiable. The guy at the counter was a little bit too cool. I’ve no problem with that Overall, nice experience renting at Uhaul. Is it possible to introduce smaller vans for interstate or intercity business? I’ve rented the dampest 10-ft, but it s a big too large for me. I heard from my son that from Ithaca to Syracuse, I can only rent 10-ft. Nothing smaller. Is that true?

This location was on Erie Blvd east in Syracuse,Ny. Initially I was skeptical because every time I tried to call no one would local would answer then I would get directed to a national line. If I am trying to call that location then I am trying to get a hold of that location it’s that simple. Second, the customer service within the store was TERRIBLE. No friendly faces when I walked in and the two guys at the front did fake a coin toss to decide who should help me. Just to be clear it wasn’t a real coin, just a visual look they gave each other before one individual jokingly said to the other “I hate you” because he was chosen to help me when I walked in for service. On top of that he falsified information for me and I received an extra 21.60$ charge. That’s cleared up now since customer service on the national line was very helpful. The last thing I would like to mention is that the app has a terrible flaw. I was the primary on the uhaul account for this order and I needed to rent to be able to move into my new apartment 2.5 hours away. First issue was that I had to bring the van back. So I made arrangements and added my boyfriend to the drivers list and he drove out to my new apartment 2.5 hours away. He had to drive back since I had to stay at the new place. When he got back I used the app to return the truck but they do that through checking your location (HUGE FLAW since I was,again, 2.5 hours away). At the end of the day, these people need to get rid of their bad attitudes because no one is going to want to do business with you if you keep it up.

I was charged an after hour service fee ($20.00 - equal to an extra day of rental) when I brought the van in TWO HOURS before it was due Sunday. The two guys on Sunday apparently did not even bother to process my return, just left it foe the Monday morning staff and I was charged extra for their oversight.. I rent almost every week of the year from this location and this is the thanks I get?

Do your job. Help the customer take car off trailer. Know how to take cars off trailers. Move dropped off vehicles out of the way of incoming drop offs

Rep. Was kinda curt, it was as if I was bothering him. Also I put gas in it as instructed and the gas gauge did not move....hope I don't get charged for gas!!!

Everything was good but you only have one elevator in the storage area and it’s obsolete , if you have three people trying to use it it creates issues. You need more updated elevators and more than 1

The unit is clean. We had a difficult time understanding how to get into the building and using the elevator was a real education. All in all your prices are competitive with other storage units.

My unit had bird feathers inside of it when I removed my items. I noticed bird poop on my furniture. I was not aware that birds had access to the storage unit. I would love to have someone contact me.

Elevator was broken and took forever to fix. Big inconvenience since I needed the stuff that was in storage, so I had to bring it all down 6 flights of stairs. Not worth the money I paid.

When I went to retrieve my item and close my account, I was told about a card I needed to access my space. I was never given a card nor was a card ever mentioned and I got serious attitude it.

The elevator was unavailable when I moved in so I was forced to carry a dozen large items up 6 flights of stairs. Upon moving out, the elevator was broken so I had to carry all my stuff down.

The building and elevator are quite old. I heard the elevator was out of service for 3 weekends in a row, and it was down for 3 of the 4 days I was there
