My reservation was for 10 AM, October 12, 2017. Worldwide system was down when I arrived to pick up the truck. I had to wait until 4 PM that day before the system was up and running enough for me to obtain my truck. Not only did I have to pay with cash (since the system would not yet except credit card payment), I had to hire two movers that cost me $80 since my other movers could no longer help me due to the change in times caused by the system outage . I'm hoping U Haul will compensate me for the inconvenience caused by the system outage.

The facility is a little rough looking, not very clean. The truck was ok. The self serve feature on my phone didn’t work so I had to go into the warehouse store for service. If the office wasn’t open it would have been a big problem as we had to accomplish the move that day. Not sure if this is a problem with the website or the location.

We ordered a 10 ft. truck. We asked if they could give us a deal. The girl talked to the manager. He said he give us .79 a mile instead of the .99. When we got there they said we ordered a cargo van. They managed to get us a truck. At the end of the transaction we were charged .99 a mile. The girl on duty said there was nothing she could do. We won't do business with u-haul again.

I had an overall terrible experience. I used the storage on the premises. They were notorious for leaving the secure door propped open with a rock leaving my belongings unsafe. There was only one elevator and no real way to plan accordingly if you had a time limit or hired help that had to wait for the freight elevator. There was no sign up sheet it was like a bunch of animals fighting over it at times. I was not aware of the freight elevator issues before I rented nor that their was only one. I tried to ask if I could reserve the elevator but no one could give me a straight answer. I also before closing asked for a recipt of all transaction over the past 4 months but the person behind the desk told me they couldn't do it and to come back tomorrow. I live 2 hours away I cant do that. I rented trucks too. That experience was okay but I rented a truck with the tire presuure light on. I told them before taking the truck off the lot and the person said oh yeah we just had it fixed and it should go off. It didn't go off and the tires where low. I had to pay out of pocket to have it filled with air at a Petro gas station that worked on trucks, that was 5$. It was not a good experience and I'm not trying to make any issue of it but you guys sent this and I have a bit of free time right now. Well have a good day and I'm not sure if I can get over the way I was treated and I will in the near future be needing another rental. I don't know if I can trust this location again.

Make equipment return faster. When I arrived at 4: p.m. I had to wait about 15 minutes at the return spot, until a representative came out to complete the return process. I was the only one waiting there. That was a bit irritating, especially because I didn't even know that the staff inside had seen me waiting out there. I would have appreciated a quick phone text to let me know that they had seen me, and that someone would be out soon.

I had a online reservation today at 3:30. When I got there no one was in the store part. I waited about 20mins then call your number 315-424-0633 and spoke to your dispatch person because I was concern that someone was maybe sick somewhere in the bldg. It made no sense for no one not to be in a business for that period of time with the door unlock. dispatch person who was very nice and she stay on the phone while I walk around the bldg looking for someone. I did find a man outside that worked there working on someone personal vehicle. I explained I was on the phone with the dispatch because I now had been waiting about half hour and was concern I could not find anyone. He asked what did I want I said a had a reservation for a van. He look up and said well I am the only one here and that was all he said. No apology and no comment on how much longer I had to wait. I call my husband and he told me to just leave. As I was leaving the man said some else just came in. No apology nothing just someone just came in. So I went back and a lady was there who had a worse attitude then he did. I will never in life ever come to your store and I will share my experience with all my friends. I have been an adjuster for 30 years and have never in my life experience such unprofessional service. I shared this with both of your employee who seem like they could care less.

The truck was dirty and had foam peanuts all in the back of the truck and the woman employee tried to argue with me about it as if I made the truck dirty. And I ordered a 20 foot truck and got there and got a 17 or 15 foot truck. Overall I was unsatisfied because I had to make more than one trip due to the size.
