Your people are Wonderful! Your automatic billing system is HORRIBLE! It tried to charge me twice for the same move. Thanks to my credit card company, that didn't happen. I was charged twice for the delivery fee, once on the original contract, and again on the new contract that magically appeared on the day of delivery to my destination. The new contract was going to charge me storage fees for my Uboxes as of the date of delivery, along with a delivery fee. When I called in, once again your wonderful employees took care of the storage fees, removing them from my credit card. We both were trying to figure out the reason for the new contract. I had until the 27th of June, and then had 30 days free storage according to my original contract. I returned a lot of the boxes, blankets, etc. in the place I moved from, because I didn't need them. I got credit for most of the boxes, none of the file boxes with lids, but that is ok. I gave you a great overall rating, because you have stellar employees from your reservation agents, scheduling agents, trouble shooting personal, to the office employees, to the pick up and delivery drivers, counter represenatives, and every one that I came in contact with at Uhaul. Would I recommend you guys, yes! But I would caution people to watch the contracts that your computer system sends out, and their credit card statements.Ann L.

I originally reserved a uhaul for this past Saturday and when I called, I was trying to advise that I would need it for a week and the customer service representative changed my entire reservation to June 11th so everything I have set up for my move on Saturday June 5th had to be canceled which was a complete inconvenience because I went to uhaul expecting to get a truck and no trucks were available plus I had to pay movers (an extra out of pocket expense) to move out by Monday, June 7th.Geneice W. | First Impressions

Counter person Saturday at pickup was stressed out and terse. Person at drop off sunday(on time) was more interested in getting his cigarette than unhooking the trailer. When I finally unhooked it myself he showed up, I asked him not to smoke around me and he left. Just got my bill, shows I was charged for 2 days even though I picked it up late Saturday, and dropped it early Sunday. The UHAUL was extremely loud in the cab. "This was the only one we had." The gas measured as the receipt said and until we started it and drove off the lot it dropped tremendously. Also, we were told that the amount of gas we used wouldn't be affected by the catalytic converter being gone and it was. We spent 68.00 in gasLinda E.
First of all, the only two guys working the front counter were very backed up, very stressed and very rude to customers. Only younger male employee with tattoos even loudly stated "ya'll are making me wanna quit this job today", with 7 other customers standing within earshot. Then he stood texting on his phone for close to 10 minutes, while customers waited to be helped. I also had to walk back into the store to ask for a wiring cable, which that trailer was missing, and the young employee looked up and said "for real, another one?", all while 8 other people ahead of me. The older man was becoming rude and lacked communication skills. I understand it was a holiday weekend, but Im in customer service myself and have a sense of professionalism around customers, no matter my stress level. The truck only had one working headlight. The latch to the cargo was broken. I lost some of my things because it came open while I was driving. I didn't realize it until I reached my destination. The customer service workers had no care when I told them about the headlight. He just said I shouldn't be driving in the dark and to have the truck back before it got dark. I will never ever go back to that location. I've been there twice and the first time it took them 2 hours after my reservation time to get it ready and the truck was filthy. There was mud on the seats, floor and the outside of the truck. The people working there shouldn't be. It's the only location I've ever had issues with.JUANISHA C.

Rented a truck, used the 'encouraged' Truck Share 24/7 service, where you check in on your phone upon arrival and go through the process to gain access to your truck remotely. I do not recommend the process, it took 3 times longer than walking in to check in - over a 30-minute process, then you still had to walk in to get the key from the counter, which defeated the whole purpose I think. Returned the truck 23 hours ahead of due time, the attendant took the key and said he would take care of it and send an e-receipt. 2 hours later the receipt showed a $30 fuel service fee and a $31.88 8 GL fuel charge. A $41 rental turned into $111 real quick. I took photos of the gas gauge before and after, right at 1/4 tank. The mileage out was 71164, mileage in was 71167. We literally drove 2 miles total, just needed it at a neighboring business to store items in it overnight. The return receipt showed the gas right between 1/8 and 1/4 tank, which is a misread by the attendant. When I called immediately after getting the receipt, I called and spoke to Mike on Sat. 4:30pm. Mike was friendly on the phone and explained that they were training new employees and that they would get it fixed. I attempted to call Mon. to follow up since I did not have a corrected receipt yet. The hold time was over 20 minutes, so I gave up - I don't have that time to spare when at work. I called Tues. 5/25 and spoke with Keisha (sp?), who was also very friendly. She said she would contact Chris, the general manager and that he would check it out and call me back. As of 5/27 1pm (48 hours later, and 5 days later from my first call) I still have yet to receive a callback or receive corrected receipt. So I tried to call again, and again am told the hold wait time is 20 minutes. This is beyond frustrating because: 1) we rent these trucks 2-3 times per year for such events, and It's inconvenient to have to change rental providers due to lack of Uhaul's integrity and customer service, especially when they are right next door to us, 2) I am wasting a lot of my time and my employers time trying to fix a $60 mistake, 3) They are making me look bad to my employer for wasting their money in exorbitant fees, of no fault of my own other than trusting Uhaul to the agreed terms of the rental. For all of this, I believe it now merits public reviews to warn other renters to beware. If they don't care about me, just 1 customer of many, maybe they will care if they lose a handful more by my review. Its sad public shaming has to dictate a response...if they even care to respond. Great service at the LOCAL level, friendly professional driver. Ill give a high star rating to not sink their stats...but overall rating is POOR The customer service number is TERRIBLE. One of the longest hold times Ive ever had to deal with. There are conflicting directions- telling you to make changes on the website, but no option to do so. A separate order number when you are getting your original Ubox back ???? Why make that more confusing ? If it is the same box it should keep the same order number ! Checking in my truck it wasnt explained to me why I had to pay extra $100. ...all he did was read off my expenses of the rental truck. Later looking at my contract and receipt I realized I only was supose to keep the truck 48hrs and I went ovr by 8 hrs ..so it makes btr sense about my bill ... still over all experience was A+...christopher was exceptional at help w renting the truck and helping me w boxes and supplies ...very understanding and great custo.er service .the old guy checking in my truck not so much ...he acted activated cause we came like 15 min bfr close. The young guy w him was very nice and friendly. ....uhaul could improve on there trucks by putting a fold out second step off the back bumper make it easier to get into back of truck. ...this place is exceptionally clean well stocked and lit up ...mostly friendly staff Best one in Tulsa.robert S.

I use this location any time I need a truck, however...after this last experience, I am rethinking that choice. The gentleman (using that word VERY loosely) that was working was not professional AT ALL! He apparently was upset with the fact he was working alone and the girl that was supposed to be in wasn't there. He made the comment "It looks like she won't be the only one quitting today." He got frustrated with me because I have a new phone with an overlay program and it wouldn't allow me to take a picture of my DL for the reservations. I explained it to him and he acted like it was my problem and there was no other way to process. I just looked at him and said "I don't know what to tell you, but my phone won't do it. What do you do with people who don't have cell phones?" (BTW, they do still exist. My Aunt for one!) He then rudely stated, just give it to me. I handed it over and we completed that part of the transaction. He then went about trying to find a key for the truck I needed. He literally started chunking keys onto the floor from the board, mumbling under his breath, and overall being an ass! He finally found me a key and brought the truck around. To say that it was dirty is an understatement. It was filthy! I had to sweep it out before using it. The tow button didn't work, the steering wheel was nasty and sticky. Someone had spilled something in the floor. It was disgusting! When I returned the truck a few hours later, I did not see him, but I did see the gentleman with whom I have seen before and he was very polite. Per my printout, the name of the person that processed by reservation was Nolan Johnson. I do not know the name of the other gentleman.Jo-Rita D.

My U-Box arrived 14 days late from Tulsa to Gresham Oregon. On a different order I sent two U-Boxes from Tulsa to Mesa Arizona and they arrived a day or two early. The difference being U-Haul is Located in Arizona I guess. Also more people are moving that direction.Allen B.

Van had dog hair in the seats up front and all over the back in the cargo area that had not been cleaned up. Chris Munoz was working check out, but was no where to be seen for 5 minutes after I came in to p/u van. He didn't offer any assistance with deliveryJulia P.
I had submitted my request the night before, so my thinking was that all I had to do was pick up my keys. I had to wait close to 10 minutes before I was waited on, because no one was in the office. She was friendly but was asking the same questions that I had already submitted the night before. I felt that was wasting time on moving day. The truck had drink stains on the console and was somewhat sticky. I would recommend the location simply only because of the convenience of the location. I've rented from U-haul several times before and it's been better. In the past we have done a walk through and went over the damage on the truck and checked the inside.CHERYL E.
When we picked up the truck we were told that our return time would be 7:30 pm on Saturday and that an individual would be there to complete the check-in process. When we arrived to turn it back jn, we found out the location closed at 7. By the time we were able to find information on how to return it remotely and got it checked in online, it appeared we were late. We called cx service to explain and they assured us we would not be charged late fees because we had been misinformed about someone being there to check the truck in. I reserved a truck and got a van. Making it impossible to get my beds moved in 1 load. I had to make 2 loads and thus making twice the mileage on the vehicle. Therefore owing more for the vehicle. The girl was there but you could tell she didn't want to be. She didn't work quickly at all. The boss was downy the road eating or something and she was having to handle everything herself and he was in a company truck. Come to think about it, probably the one I reserved.... I am not blaming uhaul for the theft that occurred in my unit. However, I find it strange that the alarm system to the unit’s we’re mysteriously unarmed that night. Fron previous reviews this is the second time this has happened. Then I moved to an inside more secure unit. My access card never worked and then I find out that they changed the access hours to during office business hours only. It would have been nice too have been told instead of making several trips trying to get in. I would not recommend this location- they have poor customer service- I even observed the Mgr Chris Munoz tell a customer that his propane filler was down and sent her to another location. So I asked for a trailer and a storage unit. First off, the unfriendly guy [Lucas] gave me a unit that was already occupied. I had to go back to the front to get the issue resolved. Luckily the one next to it was free so he told me to use that one instead. He also failed horribly to mention that I needed to disarm my unit with the card before opening my unit door or else the alarm will blare very loudly for a few minutes before shutting off. This happened 3 times; thank goodness I'm not deaf....it just so happened that an older gentlemen saw our distress and told us how things worked. Lastly, I can't believe they only have one loading dock. I had to keep my uhaul for an extra day because every time I tried to move my stuff in, there was someone else taking up the space and carts. I finally backed up in front of the ramp that is intended for people and unloaded my stuff there because I wasn't about to risk hitting another truck or scrape off my front bumper on the ridiculous brick wall they have bordering the parking lot when trying to park in-between or next to a truck. If I would've known it was that difficult I would've went with my old storage place. Oh and to top it all off some random guy and my contract got mixed up so a uhaul store in Texas tried to charge me $244 for his truck, which luckily my bank declined....such a headache.Melissa O. | First Impressions

I am just very disappointed. I have 3 existing units and was just adding a 4th. I literally walked up and down the floors 4or 5 times going to wrong units- after being on the road for hours. I am alarmed the emergency call bottom had no response. How is that secure and safe environment if there is no response. I called because the alarm kept going off. The person who took my initial call was curtious , knowledgeable, and efficient to my need... we even laughed it was so pleasurable to have the stress of the day relieved. I called because I needed to find a unit fast and a unit not to far from where I was moving from and get to work. My previous Storage was vandalized and just a mess but in less than a few minutes the young lady had a unit reserved a truck just in case and conformation numbers ready and we laughed . When I got to the actual midtown location I was greeted with a smile and response of urgency to meet my needs. Had the grand tour to my selected storage spot and a few chuckles along the way, I throughly understood what... how to operate and the young man was very kind. I left mid town feeling a sence of satisfaction and gratitude as I went to work feeling all the stress of the morning was defeated by the kindness that I received from these total strangers... The person who booked my reservation for the storage unit was very professional and help. However, after arriving to the storage location the agent who assisted with providing the rental space were persistent and misleading regarding purchasing a lock for the unit. He stated that I had to purchase a lock from them in order to use the unit. Also, my entrance card never worked to get into the building. Doors should be locked at all times, that’s why I was given a code/card. Never used it once because doors where unlocked. I believe you need to review your process with sending letters to the emergency contacts. I missed a payment, received your email and immediately paid it. A week or so later, my emergency contact received a letter that I owed a balance. First off, it was never clearly explained that was your intention to use an emergency contact in that manner. Second, not even 24hrs late and you sent such a letter to them. You already have the authority to lock me out of my belongings, and ultimately can sell them for their value. Bottomline, this policy doesn’t work for me and I have moved out, and no longer will use ”any” of your services in the future and will share to others why when asked for recommendations.jeremy h. | Overall Experience
