All the crew that works in this location was wonderful and very helpful. Only issue I had was I was charged after a month and a half later for the amount of $75+ I was aware that I returned the trailer after hours, so there was going to be additional daily rental fee. I wasn't aware my card was declined, and no one contacted me to tell me they're unable to process the remaining balance on my card. I was just thinking it was already paid in full once the pending transaction was cleared from uhaul. If someone contacted me I would totally cooparete and give them another method of payment however this was not a good surprise

I need to dispute a $2.50 charge for a toll fee. This is the link the lady I spoke to sent me, but I’m not seeing a way to do so yet. I paid a lot of tolls from Dallas, TX. to Minot, ND. All out of pocket. I think it’s ridiculous that I’m getting hit with this charge from Uhaul almost a month after the move. Please contact me.

Truck exterior cleanliness could have been better. Amazed that truck didn't have Cruise control. Rented a pick up the day before for LOCAL use only and it had Cruise. Driving 1600 miles w/o CC was not pleasant. This vehicle engine was extremely noisy. For a vehicle with only 5800 miles I think it may have a problem.

The trailer (6x12) was older but in good condition, only complaint was trailer floor was very dirty, like Sheetrock dust.

I had a huge bedroom set to move from an hour away so I checked the night before, got there right at 7, and rented a 10ft truck. The price was what I estimated and they had everything I needed. Ran great and I had it back an hour early. I got a whole lot done in one trip on labor day. Thank you UHAUL.

Reserving a vehicle over a week in advance should secure it or at least deserve a phone call. No extra accommodations were given for my reserved vehicle being "out of service" even with the same type of vehicle being in the parking lot but reserved for other, I guess more important, customers.

The only disadvantage of the U-Box is that you cannot get immediate access to your box without a 24 hour notice. I wanted to access to my storage items whenever I needed them.

1. Reserved 2 6x12 trailers was only able to get one. Representative wants me to drive 1 1/2 hours to go pick the other trailer up and 1 pm and said she would give me that day for free when really it wouldnt even been a whole day. To improve dont let me reserve something if you know your not going to have it. 2. Customer service needs improvement. Manager (lyes) was rude, very short and talked down to us both times we went in the store to make reservations and to pick up. The only person in this location that helped us out and actually had customer service was the old man that use to be in the military. Cant remerber his name.

I had a 10 ft truck reserved for myself today from 12-4pm today. I asked beforehand if there was any way to move my time to later in the afternoon and the response was no because it would interfere with a future reservation. That was completely understandable so I went forward with my normal times. I then went to pick up the truck that I RESERVED ahead of time only to find out someone who was using the truck before me wanted to extend their time with it. Uhaul was fine with it even though it overlapped my reservation so I couldnt even get the truck at all. I didn't get anything compensated for the inconvenience and was given a smaller vehicle with only 2 seats (I had 2 others moving furniture with me so now someone else had to waste gas to follow me to my storage unit) while the original truck I reserved for had 3 seats. I just didn't think I was treated fair as a customer and I'm not happy with the service I received. So no, respecfully, I'm sorry but I would not recommend this location to others.

I paid a cash deposit and was told I could come back and pick up the difference the next day. When I came back they had issued a check to be mailed to me. That was not what we discussed and I don't appreciate Uhaul deciding for me what to do with my money.

The store representative lied to my face, and when the manager had a chance to follow up claimed there was nothing he could do to help find a resolution for the situation. My original contract had different dates than was communicated to me when I picked up the trailer in Denver. I received a call on my unknown surprise return date that my trailer needed to be dropped of that day. I was in the process of doing a military move, showed up at the location with my trailer to be returned that same day. I explained to the representative I needed to weigh the trailer with my vehicle but the weight scales were closed. I was explicit told by the counter representative to bring it back the next day and not worry about any additional charges or fee's. I returned it the next day and when I checked my credit card bill there was a surprise charge for an additional day. I disputed this with Uhauls customer service who left it at the discretion of the manager who when I spoke to him made it sound like I was some ridiculous high maintenance customer when in fact I was just trying to find out why I had been deceived and the store couldn't honor its own promises. I highly recommend going with a different company for any needs or services that U-haul provides and can be found elsewhere.

I was guaranteed a certain trailer, was called 18 hours prior to pick up and they said only a much smaller one was available the next day. Upon pickup, they did not even have that one, but only the smallest one (5x8); it didn't even fit half the stuff I needed to move 300 miles away. It was supposed to be dropped in Grand Forks after 2 days, but instead my son was called and hassled, unbeknownst to me, to bring it back to Minot and within 24 hours. I'm not sure I have ever had a worse experience with a company. It was actually hard to believe anyone conducts a business this way. I'm so disapppinted, I will never use this company again.

Not very helpful staff. Maybe need to hire more help. I had to make a 160 mile drive to pick up the auto transport I requested to pick up from this location well in advance. This is the second time I've had this happen at this location. Previous experience from other uhauls dealers I have dealt with went and picked up the auto transport themselves from another location and brought it to where I actually requested it. It's called customer service and this location is severely lacking. I won't be back to this location again!

The U-haul pulled to the right when driving at higher speeds. Our items were placed pretty evenly in the truck. Not sure if the tire pressures needed to be checked or have a steering alignment. But the employee who helped me rent and return the uhaul in this location (Minot) was helpful, nice, and informative about what I would need for securing my items.

We waited ten minutes because there was no one at the desk. Then an employee walked out of the bathroom and ask what we needed. Matching the name tag with the business cards it was the general manager waited on us at the counter. He never introduced himself. He was very rude and made it clear he had better things to do than to wait on us. He did not take the time to explain things including the over all cost. This was poor customer service over all and to have that type of service from the general manager was unacceptable. At the end we paid way to much for a small truck. Next time I will take my business else.To businesses like Tractor supply, lowes, home depot, any where but U-Haul in Minot. My family has used U-Haul three time with in the last year and this was by far the worst experience with exceptionally poor service experience. It was bad enough to ensure I will not do business with U-Haul again.I would never recommend that U-Haul center.

When you have a U-Haul reserved, make sure that you have it available when you go to pick it up. We reserved a 26 foot and ended up taking a 20 foot. We also ended up driving four hours to get the car transporter because one was not at that location. That was very disappointing.

It seems like it takes forever to check the equipment out, even when you've reserved months in advance.

Understaffed n cranky, waited hour n half for a two wheeler so we could unload The truck in time to return it by the 7 pm closing, our helper was not available by the time we received the two wheeler. The u haul staff seemed to project a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Maybe he was having a bad day?

Did not ask me where I wanted to drop off trailer....only asked me what my mailing address would be, and I told him that I would not be living there till the end of the month because I was going to be staying with family till then, but insisted had to be future address instead of where I was going with the uhaul....so had to drive to another town 30 minutes away to drop the trailer. Then he charged my credit card before telling me how many days I was renting the trailer for, when I said I wanted it till Monday he said I had to return it by Sunday or I would be fined. If he had been upfront about how many days he was charging me for before he charged my credit card I would have rented the trailer a day or 2 later than I did. He made me feel bullied and coerced. I will recommend that people never rent from uhaul and I will do everything in my power to never rent from you again.

Reserved a 20' truck three weeks out then got there and only a 15' available. Got no concessions yet for an extra day of rental which really did not cost the rental location. I was offered to rent a pull behind trailer at full price to make up the difference in space (20' to 15') which I declined because they would not discount trailer price. Again for three weeks I got emails about my upcoming 20' truck. Day of rental it became my issue, real take it or leave it attitude. I then asked to a least toss in a dolly use for "free" of which U-Haul location owner agreed to do for "free" but he still charged me for it and hid cost elsewhere in contact. Truck was excellent. U-Haul agent at turn in location refunded the dolly rental. Yea, $10.00 bogus charge and bad customer service for in excess of a $2,000 transaction at the rental location shows it is lacking customer service. I felt hustled and was glad to clear the lot at rental location.

Fuel wasn't marked correctly upon check out, and I am pretty sure the mileage was incorrect at check out. Although I didn't take the necessary steps to double check the mileage, which is my fault, I did notify the representative of the low fuel. Nothing was done to account for the low fuel, except for simply marking a line on the contract (with no signature, employee code, etc.) that anybody could have done. Also, check-in time wasn't adjusted which led to a premature reminder phone call waking me on a Saturday morning. Not a terrible experience, but I feel like the check out process could have been a bit more thorough.

I asked for a motorcycle trailer with the wheel lock. The morning of pick up I again asked for a motorcycle trailer and was again told yes that was that I was getting. I foolishly trusted that the individual was competent and hooking up the bike trailer, and when I got to my destination I found that it was not the bike trailer (which was sitting in the lot when I returned that night) but was instead a normal flat bed with walls. I called the Minot location to see if o could switch it with a moto trailer at the Fargo location and was told that I would be charged a large sum to do so and to basically to make it work. Just and overall infuriating experience.

get some sort of claim assistance in place for when your U-hauls are being used in an insurance claim. When there isn't something in place it puts issues with both your customers and getting paid in a timely fasion from such things. The Treatment I received from one of your associates Crystal at the location of my rental was terrible and an absolute dread to work with, she showed no concerned for my unique situation and offered no help in resolving the issues but instead chose to not take the time to listen to my full situation and offer resolution, only blame and lack of knowledge on what I should do when it came down to it her only concern was to threaten me with pulling money from the card that was used (all though it was not the one to be used for the full payment of the rental) and to reposes the rental. Strongly suggest someone looks in to her behavior with customers and how she can correct poor customer service she allowed me to experience.

Be more upfront about the fees that will be charged. First of all, I signed up for secure insurance at $14 but was charged for secure plus at $28. Then, I wasn't notified about there being a $10 charge for using a card to pay. If I had known that, I would've used cash. Overall, I'm disappointed. A move that I thought would cost at most $50 turned out to be around $80. By the way, do I just not get my insurance deposit back? There was not a scratch on the truck and the employee made no note of any damages.

Worst experience ever. Made reservation.. then seemed to disappear.. then didn't have the storage unit set up after several phone calls being assured we had one , manager was to call back . To address the fact we had nowhere to put our items once we got the uhaul back . no call , no one gave message , had to call again have us a tiny unit because that's all they had left , had a dead rat in it. I had prepaid and registered! When my son and daughter went to pick up the trailor they where charged again! Only after i sent my daughter a copy of my invoice where they able to figure out what was going on! By then i believe everybodys patients was shot and it was not a pleasant experience! However, i ordered a 2 wheel dolly and one was nor available and was upgraded to a full car trailer! NICE!!

There was some confusion checking the trailer in. I was repeatedly told that I owed an additional $28 and some cents for an extra day if use. However, I had arranged for an additional day of use when I picked up the trailer and was told that I there would be no additional charge. I kept repeating what I was told when I picked up the trailer and I was finally told everything was good and I didn't owe additional rent. Not sure if the problem was the U-Haul system or the employee. The facility was one of the cleanest facilities I've witnessed for a U-HAUL facility.

Then y'all charged my charged my card for gas even when in the contract it stated to fill where I received the uhaul at. Not pleased at all.

There was a dolly and blankets in the back of the truck, the people that moved our equipment had their own dolly. They moved the u-haul dolly to enable them to slide some shelving along the wall of the truck. When returning the truck I was charged for the dolly because the workers broke the seal. Next time I will request u-haul remove the equipment I didn't request.

The counter clerk was quite unprofessional and difficult to understand due to the large was of tobacco in his mouth. The truck on the contract was not the truck I was given, creating the wrong mileage and fuel amount, which was eventually resolved, but took much longer than it should have. In the future I will use other UHaul facilities in town due to the unprofessional and inaccurate nature of the staff at this store.

Make sure if your customer asks for a two wheel car dolly for a van that you do have one and it will work for the vehicle. I spent a considerable amount of time waiting and ended up having to rent a trailer instead. This was inconvenient.

After I got a confirmation on the trailer needed I was informed the next day that it was not available unless I drove,to Tioga, approximately 140 miles extra to pick it up. I was informed that the cost of the trailer rental would be the same. This did not set well and I told the person in charge that if this is the way U haul run there business I would find other means to transport my goods. After a few minutes I called Uhaul again an spoke to a different rep and was informed that there was a trailer at the location I was to pick mine up at and that I could get it. After that everything went smooth and well I did not require 4 days on the rental but if that is what I have to pay so be it. The trailer was dropped in Booking's SD at 5pm on Feb 4th I only used it 2 days but figured I had better be safe than sorry.

I will file a Law suit against this company and a discrimination claim against uhaul. Lyle was very UNPROFESSIONAL. I have damages to my personal property and to my back and shoulders.

Not the original pick up was not the location above it was Minot Marine. It was the location across from the Sportsmans Attic. We had had a snow storm so the operator called and asked to be a bit late. Scheduled 10 a.m.. The trailer was under feet of snow and had not been cleaned around or moved since the 2 previous storms. The lost may have been maintained just not the equipment. I was asked to pay cash so they could hire a snow removal person. I did pay cash. I arrived shortly after 19 am the sno removal man arrived with flat tires on his snow blower. we finally got it out around 12:30 p.m. the axel was frozen and would not move. It was not the break. I called Uhaul and they sent me to the above location which was excellent in all aspects except they did not have a trailer as the 800 # said they did. It was broken. After an hour the 800 # asked if we could drag the broken trailer to this location. We did. I eventually got out of town around 3pm and into the ground blizzard I went. I checked the trailer every fuel stop. My final fuel stop was approximately 50 miles into Wisconsin all was ok. Approximately 60 miles from my destination I was stopped by a trooper.as he noticed the trailer was not tied down nor chained. Long story short after UHaul staff supposedly checked the trailer & axle then secured it ratchets broke and chain security clips had disengaged. I had traveled with a vehicle 120 miles that could have fallen off and killed someone. I drove the last 60 miles at low speed and finally made it to my location. This trip cost me an extra day gone so it added expense. I have used UHaul many (dozens) of times in my past and always had nice experiences. This one was rotten. I will question myself if I need to move things again as to UHaul. Every place has bad apples, bad days etc.so I will if needed possibly use them. Please note the young man and staff were polite, and apologetic about the situation and even helped move the car to the corporate location. They had no business sense. I have the original hand written copy as a few weeks before something had knocked out the Minot Marine locations internet.

The service here was exceptional! I would however caution anyone making a reservation. My whole reservation was a disaster from the day before we were supposed to pick up. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance. The morning before I was advised that our order was unavailable. We didn't get a 26' truck, we got a 15' with a 6x12 trailer. Needless to say this left us almost 500 Sq ft short. We had to go to another town to pick up the truck. They told me all miles would be covered. To my surprise I was charged miles! I had to argue my case, which really upset me considering I had to pay for the gas for an additional 289 miles that I wasn't supposed to be driving. To add insult to injury, when I called in , and she eventually credited the charge, she asked if there was anything else she could help with, I was about to speak when she says " great, we'll have a good day then". AND HUNG UP ON ME! I really love the locations that I delt with and their customer service went above and beyond. But remember they don't deal with your billing or have control of fleet. I am so unbelievably disappointed! This cost me an extra trip to load things. Hassle with attaching and un attaching a trailer and an extra $60 in gas. Not impressed!

we arrived at closing and an employee told us to "just drop it in the line and we will get to it in the morning". then two days later some one from the store called and asked "how much longer are you gonna need the trailer" i said we dropped it off two days ago and he said they never got it. i said he was not being funny and he hung up on me. then after several calls, 4 different reps, and a few hours i got an emil receipt. so i called the store to double check that they "found" the trailer and the girl on the other end of the phone had an attitude as if she couldn't be bothered... Horrible experience and will NOT be using UHAUL EVER again!!!

Be more knowledgeable in problem solving as opposed to so focused on pushing "extras and add-ons." Gas tank wasn't even full for our pick up (when they tried to note it was), mileage was off, wrong vehicle was imputed in the system which made returning the Uhaul a 30 minute inconvenience, and the whole experience was a poor one. Customer representative was not knowledgeable in how to fix the problems and the ones who could help were too lazy to actually get up and show him how to fix the problems. Most likely not using this Uhaul again.

The boxes didn`t close, they didn`t come with the guaranteed moving pads.The tow dolly I reserved a month ago was only available and hour and a half away, with less than 24hr notice.

Registration is cumbersome. Also, I wanted to keep the Uboxes at my location on-site. They don`t have a way to unload the Ubox from the trailer in a city the size of Minot? One would help
