Both times I've been in to rent, the lines have been very long. Not sure if you're able to have another counter person or if I just hit peak times.

I was guaranteed a certain trailer, was called 18 hours prior to pick up and they said only a much smaller one was available the next day. Upon pickup, they did not even have that one, but only the smallest one (5x8); it didn't even fit half the stuff I needed to move 300 miles away. It was supposed to be dropped in Grand Forks after 2 days, but instead my son was called and hassled, unbeknownst to me, to bring it back to Minot and within 24 hours. I'm not sure I have ever had a worse experience with a company. It was actually hard to believe anyone conducts a business this way. I'm so disapppinted, I will never use this company again.

Not very helpful staff. Maybe need to hire more help. I had to make a 160 mile drive to pick up the auto transport I requested to pick up from this location well in advance. This is the second time I've had this happen at this location. Previous experience from other uhauls dealers I have dealt with went and picked up the auto transport themselves from another location and brought it to where I actually requested it. It's called customer service and this location is severely lacking. I won't be back to this location again!

I was informed that I would receive $100.00 credit towards this rental because of the hassle of my previous rental. I haven't seen this credit as of 8/8/17.

The U-haul pulled to the right when driving at higher speeds. Our items were placed pretty evenly in the truck. Not sure if the tire pressures needed to be checked or have a steering alignment. But the employee who helped me rent and return the uhaul in this location (Minot) was helpful, nice, and informative about what I would need for securing my items.

We waited ten minutes because there was no one at the desk. Then an employee walked out of the bathroom and ask what we needed. Matching the name tag with the business cards it was the general manager waited on us at the counter. He never introduced himself. He was very rude and made it clear he had better things to do than to wait on us. He did not take the time to explain things including the over all cost. This was poor customer service over all and to have that type of service from the general manager was unacceptable. At the end we paid way to much for a small truck. Next time I will take my business else.To businesses like Tractor supply, lowes, home depot, any where but U-Haul in Minot. My family has used U-Haul three time with in the last year and this was by far the worst experience with exceptionally poor service experience. It was bad enough to ensure I will not do business with U-Haul again.I would never recommend that U-Haul center.

When you have a U-Haul reserved, make sure that you have it available when you go to pick it up. We reserved a 26 foot and ended up taking a 20 foot. We also ended up driving four hours to get the car transporter because one was not at that location. That was very disappointing.

Both times I've returned equipment they only had one staff helping customers and they had 4 to 5 people waiting to be helped. Should have at least 2 staff.

Truck requested was a 20 ft unit. Even though I had reserved two weeks in advance, I was upgraded to a 26 ft unit. No problem, I was just surprised at the last minute change.

Understaffed n cranky, waited hour n half for a two wheeler so we could unload The truck in time to return it by the 7 pm closing, our helper was not available by the time we received the two wheeler. The u haul staff seemed to project a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Maybe he was having a bad day?

Did not ask me where I wanted to drop off trailer....only asked me what my mailing address would be, and I told him that I would not be living there till the end of the month because I was going to be staying with family till then, but insisted had to be future address instead of where I was going with the uhaul....so had to drive to another town 30 minutes away to drop the trailer. Then he charged my credit card before telling me how many days I was renting the trailer for, when I said I wanted it till Monday he said I had to return it by Sunday or I would be fined. If he had been upfront about how many days he was charging me for before he charged my credit card I would have rented the trailer a day or 2 later than I did. He made me feel bullied and coerced. I will recommend that people never rent from uhaul and I will do everything in my power to never rent from you again.

Reserved a 20' truck three weeks out then got there and only a 15' available. Got no concessions yet for an extra day of rental which really did not cost the rental location. I was offered to rent a pull behind trailer at full price to make up the difference in space (20' to 15') which I declined because they would not discount trailer price. Again for three weeks I got emails about my upcoming 20' truck. Day of rental it became my issue, real take it or leave it attitude. I then asked to a least toss in a dolly use for "free" of which U-Haul location owner agreed to do for "free" but he still charged me for it and hid cost elsewhere in contact. Truck was excellent. U-Haul agent at turn in location refunded the dolly rental. Yea, $10.00 bogus charge and bad customer service for in excess of a $2,000 transaction at the rental location shows it is lacking customer service. I felt hustled and was glad to clear the lot at rental location.

The address they put on my paperwork to return the trailer was incorrect. I had to call uhaul to get the correct address after I had gone to the wrong address

Fuel wasn't marked correctly upon check out, and I am pretty sure the mileage was incorrect at check out. Although I didn't take the necessary steps to double check the mileage, which is my fault, I did notify the representative of the low fuel. Nothing was done to account for the low fuel, except for simply marking a line on the contract (with no signature, employee code, etc.) that anybody could have done. Also, check-in time wasn't adjusted which led to a premature reminder phone call waking me on a Saturday morning. Not a terrible experience, but I feel like the check out process could have been a bit more thorough.
