The gentlemen at Minot Movers and Storage were kind and helpful. And they weren't super picky with the little snow inside the trailer. Would recommend to anyone.

We love that you are open early!

The gentleman who hooked up our trailer in the bitter cold went the extra mile and checked one of our vehicle's tires and aired it up for us. Much appreciated.

There was an issue with the trailer at the location not being the one that was assigned to us due to one of the employees switching it with one that had lights that were not working. When we got there, they hooked up the other trailer after switching out the numbers in the system after noting that the lights were now working. However, after we arrived and loaded our stuff, the lights no longer worked. Upon further inspection, the cord that was on the trailer and truck was in very bad shape with copper showing in many different areas. We purchased a different cable from the hardware store and it then worked. (This was the reason for the not well maintained rating). The moving pads that we ordered were also not put in the truck. Finally, when given the truck, the gas tank was stated at being 7/16ths full but when I got in the cab, the tank was just above 1/4 full.

Was not contacted when my reserved truck was not available on the day of pick up. I found out by calling the store to let them know I would be a bit later than the 8am pick up time. This call was placed at 7:30 am and I live 45 minutes from the pick up store. Had I not been delayed I would have gotten there with no truck available for me to pick up. When I was contacted an hour later they told me they had a truck. I guess it's on me that I assumed it was the 15 foot truck I reserved. When I got to the store it was a 17 foot truck that I was not comfortable with driving. The gentleman at the stores comment "it's just two feet". If I'm not comfortable driving the truck it doesn't really matter what size it is. I ended up getting a 10 foot truck and making, and paying mileage, for an extra trip. One that would not have been needed had my reserved truck and size truck been available to me.

Uhaul MUST STOP using the name "reservation" Because you reserve a truck and they don't give a damn. you place a reservation and They promise you a truck and a trailer and hours before the pick up day, you get a phone call saying that if you want a truck, you have to drive 80 miles away from the place where it was promised, you have to pay someone to take you there, and drive back with your own fuel. so, basically, you drive a total of 160 miles to get a truck and have to go to another to get the trailer, which arrived 9 hours later than promised. They also promised a full month of free storage. Another lie. Once we got to our destination, all Uhaul dealers refused to honor that promise, saying they are NOT corporate owned. Bottom line, a company that fails to keep reservations and expects customers to go and to drive far away to get trucks and trailers and not having things ready at time promised, leaves a lot to wish. They don't inform customers right. All they want is their comission. $$$. they MUST NOT PROMISE free storage, when they know it is not true.

your service representative was sick and i am pretty sure I got sick from being exposed to him. I got very sick 12 hours from being around him which is one of the symptoms. why was he at work. Also the tail lights were not working on the unit i rented. he said they would start working when i started driving it. They never did work!!!

You could tell us a little bit about the truck -- what is the best way to drive to get optimal mileage, about the strnage "M" gear in the transmission, things like that. I grew up driving all kinds of cars and trucks, but would still appreciate some tips on how the truck works or any special information.

Keep up the good work. I want to give recognition to the young fellow that hooked up the trailer for me and the young lady that unhooked it upon my return. The possible problem of not having an enclosed trailer was solved by thinking outside the box. Thanks.

Have the trailer pointed towards exit to avoid having to back trailer out of lot. It did not appear that there was a way to pull out of lot without backing out.

Telephone reservation at 1-800-468-4285 was all goofed up. The trailer was to be in Bottineau, ND but I was told at the very end that it was impossible!!! Yes I was mad as hell... But the Minot Store was able to assist, even though I ended up driving 160 miles to pick it up!!!

People already have a hard enough time with moving. Being pregnant this was a very difficult move. However, I feel as well as several people I know, that uHaul makes a killing off just renting a truck. $1,500 to move, not including labor, not including gasoline (which was about $80 every 2-3 hours, and not including the extra things needed (boxes, dolley, etc.) such a rip off. We will just pay around the same price to have someone move it for us without dealing with all the hassle. It's a shame how a military veteran family is treated.

Awesome guy at the counter on Monday night when I brought the truck back! ! Would definitely recommend.

I signed up for a 10' truck and got "upgraded" to a 15' truck. I didn't appreciate the "upgrade". It just made it more expensive to drive (gas).

This place can hook you up, very fast and very friendly.

Was told that I could return the trailer to the town we were moving to, but the kid at the desk screwed up and had me return the trailer to the store I picked it up from. And also was told how much I would be charged and it wasn't the same at the checkout. Definitely will not recommend anyone to uhaul and will not rent from uhaul again. I'll be taking our business somewhere else in the future.
